From start to finish Connor at Sensa was great - he explained all the options and put everything in place to ensure a smooth transition from Biffa,
Highly recommended.
Awful is being kind to this company. Missed collections, over charging and then forcing you to stay in contact with them despite all the bad service. Avoid this company if you want a peaceful life with timely waste collections. In over 20 years of business, I've never had such a bad company like this.
Avoid , Avoid , Avoid I've been invoiced for bins that hadn't been delivered , several phone calls and emails to get this resolved no luck. I have an outstanding bill due to this dispute of less than £400 and they have sent it to recovery for £2, 290. Which actually makes it £763 per bin empty for a houshold glass bin and a household mixed waste .This company is very un professional . Worst company I've dealt with in over 25 years of business. I do not recommend. Jump on Facebook and see all the bad reviews I wish I had. Why are trading standards not shutting these jokers down !! Ripping people off
I would give this company zero stars if it were an option. My experience with Sensa Waste has been a masterclass in incompetence across every single department.
Firstly Jack - The person who signed us up - Told us all sort of promises but non of which were true - once Signed you will not get thru to Jack.
Customer Service: Absolute shambles. Getting through to anyone is a chore, and when you finally do, you are met with lies about they are looking into your query. Iv also spoken to the Director called Raj - He was very adamant that my concern or my request to have a lockable bin will be delivered by the end of the week - We are two weeks on and nothing has been done.
Stay away from this company at all cost - This company is run by cowboys - If they offer free service I would not take them on.
One of the worst company can be found in the UK.
Do not work with them , they will not provide the service
Poor service and no collections
I wish I had read the reviews here before signing up.
Sensa were very quick and efficient when it came to signing us up and delivering the bin. However, more than a month later, the bin has still not been emptied, despite two scheduled collections having passed.
Payments have been taken from our account, yet no service has been provided. We were initially told the driver could not find the site, which is difficult to accept given the bin was delivered without issue and the sales representative had no trouble locating us.
Attempts to contact our sales representative have since gone unanswered.
Based on our experience so far, I would not recommend this company.
Overall, a chaotic and traumatic dealing with this waste management service provider. Luckily I was in a negotiated trial for 6 weeks due to an absolute initial mess when first signing a contract.
- Incorrect details for start dates on initial contract
- Missed collections with poor excuses
- Harassment from phone calls for payment of invoices that had either already been paid, or were not due to missed collections.
- Bad customer service who point the fingers in everyone else’s direction
A huge avoid for this terribly managed company. You will hugely regret trying to work with them.
Had no bin collection for 4 weeks, called and emailed numerous times and had no help from them at all - they just say they will look into it ,they make you pay a month in front and then don't turn up to collect .Don't waste your time with them.
Don't bother, haven't collected my waste for 4 weeks, charged me double for being over weight obviously due to them missing collections.
Now have a backyard full of 4 weeks rubbish and pests, best thing about it they have just charged me over £300 for a months worth of waste, 2 x 1100 litre bins.
Absolute jokers don't bother.
Disgraceful. Kept not turning up for bin collections and after we agreed to have a full site clearance, they kept not taking any of that either, so all the cardboard kept blowing around and got us in trouble with the council.

I've had nothing but trouble with this company. Firstly taking double of amount of payments from my bank and when I questioned it they said I was on a weekly plan. I signed up for a fortnightly collect but they was charging me for weekly and only collecting fortnightly. Thought it was all sorted but then they have been taking every fornight for the last 6 weeks.
Unprofessional! One guy sounded like he was sat on the toilet whilst speaking to me. Another said im busy can I call you back in 5 minutes without any acknowledgement when answering the phone no good morning, good afternoon welcome to sensa waste just can I call you back in 5 minutes.
1x Bin delivered 2 weeks late, invoices didn't reflect the schedule which took many calls to resolve each month, chased and chased and chased the glass bin, finally delivered around 4 weeks later.
Several missed collections then account suspended without notice as payment wasn't made, i was in dispute and was waiting for the correct bills and then i paid straight away
Some general waste was sat for almost 4 weeks and forced to use bags and pay 3rd party to dispose of waste. Lots of promised made to do emergency collections, still not collected.
Still collections missed and more errors on the invoices.
After 3 months i decided enough was enough and terminated the contract and went back the local council service.
Avoid at all costs, i'm not sure how they could be any worse, to sum them up in one word, RUBBISH!
Avoid Sensa – Repeated Service Failures and Unauthorised Charges
After four consecutive weeks of poor service, I feel compelled to share my experience with Sensa to warn other potential customers.
From the outset, the service has been wholly unacceptable:
• Week 1: Wrong bin delivered
• Week 2: Missed collection
• Week 3: Missed collection
• Week 4: Missed collection again
Despite repeated calls and promises of a callback, no one has ever followed through. The customer service has been shockingly poor, with phone lines either unavailable or manned by individuals who provide false assurances and empty promises.
On top of that, Sensa has taken unauthorised payment despite my prior query regarding a duplicate invoice for April. I had already paid upfront for that month, and when I questioned the additional invoice, I received no response—but they still went ahead and took the payment. This is not only unethical but also a clear breach of the direct debit guarantee.
I have now had to request a senior manager call me to discuss terminating the contract. I do not have the time or inclination to chase a basic service every week. Frankly, dealing with a local council would be easier.
Summary:
• Consistent missed collections
• No meaningful customer service
• False promises of call-backs
• Duplicate invoicing and unauthorised payment
• Breach of trust and direct debit rules
If you’re considering using Sensa, I’d strongly advise you look elsewhere.
