I had a great experience with Semalt. They were very helpful and efficient.

I can’t believe I have just seen all bed reviews. I had so good experience with Semalt . Andrew helped me all the way and helped me every time I needed. My teem was able to get everything they asked him for . Everything was perfect !

I used SEMALT SEO services and checked their platform stats and overall audit. In my experience, the platform statistics and data accuracy are not fully reliable and need improvement. However, I do appreciate the PDF website audit report, as it is well-structured and helpful for basic analysis.

SEMALT should improve their stats accuracy, reporting features, and data transparency to provide better value for users.

Run from such a company like hell. They use black listed black links (mostly p__n websites and obscure ones that will eventually start getting you spam bots on the website that create users, reset passwords and block you). They don't care and they constantly show you SEO growth when it actually drops significantly. The damage on long therm on your website, while working with them, is very bad and you will have to work with a real professional team to try and fix their methods and only after that, try and grow again. I would actually close such a company totally and somehow dismantle such practices. I hope they don't change their name and start a new business to scam people all over again. The so called managers are actually lying machines for the profits. The let your website run on bots, AI and automatic systems and that's about it. Run from them and as soon as you have a problem, report them here and ask for a refund. Problem is I did also and no luck. No one cares and they simply move to the next victim.

I used Semalt in the past, and after analysing their reports over five months, I can confidently say the results were worthless. Our search engine traffic did not improve, our keyword positions stayed exactly the same, and there was zero return on investment. The entire project delivered no value.

I requested link-building reports multiple times, and they refused to provide them. Their response was disrespectful and completely unacceptable for a company charging high fees. There is absolutely no valid reason not to disclose work done on my own website. The reality is simple: they never proved any link-building at all.

After many years in this industry and working with numerous SEO companies, I have never had such a bad experience. Semalt kept giving excuses — Google updates, glitches, “secret recipes,” and all kinds of stories to avoid showing actual work. Pure nonsense designed to take your money.

During a difficult financial period, I continued investing heavily in SEO and referral traffic. Instead, Semalt wasted both my money and my time.

Our collaboration is finished. I don’t deal with companies that fail to deliver results and hide behind excuses. I will never recommend Semalt to anyone — friends, partners, or businesses.

Be careful with this company. Semalt ripped me off.

Unwanted international calls, unsolicited WhatsApp messages, and emails to my private address (how did they even get this?!?). Aggressively phishing for personal information. Extremely suspicious and invasive behavior. I want nothing from them.

Was continually harassed by a sales representative from this company which has obtained my personal data. Internet research suggests that it is a scam service.

Spam and scam company, showing itself as authentic but totally false. Be aware.

Bonjour, Je viens de m'apercevoir que ma protection email m'indique que ce site (semalt.com) n'est même pas en https et qu'il y a un véritable danger de s'y rendre : en cause de nombreux parties du site contenant des informations de phishing.
Je déconseille d'utiliser ce service surtout après avoir lu les commentaires négatifs.

I don't recommend this company to anyone. They don't provide any working report.

Their team is very unprofessional, If you want to review their work. They don't provide any work report and always said. As per company policy, they don't provide any reports.

In begning they make false promise. and at the end.

Overall, They are fraud, make false promise.

They have collected paid review on their plateforms.

1- We did not see any positive effect
2- We did not see any effective backlinks
3- They played with words and sold 1 month + 15 days free plan to us for 45 days!! That was not professional work at all

They charged $75/mo for backlinks. But the Google analytics nor any other tool saw any of these links. When I questioned them and asked to see a few websites having a link to my website - they said it's a secret! Also they said these links are not visible to general public, only Google could see them! How stupid you must be to fall for this (or even say it).

I had been on Semalt plans for a year probably, as I did not pay much attention to SEO on my website myself - I cannot say for certain if they helped or not.

One thing I know for certain: They build a lot of low-quality backlinks, on irrelevant websites to your industry, hence why backlink lists are not shared.

Whatever, enough of the SEO service.

Let's delve into their illegal practices.

I was on a paid plan, a 6-month plan that I manually paid, and did not leave my card inputted anywhere else, nor did I "subscribe" to anything.

One morning, my account manager had reached out to me with the request for approval of "the rebill". I have never authorized a rebill, I did not even respond to the message yet, but by 6 PM I noticed that 500 euros were withdrawn from my card. Again, I never authorized a subscription, neither during checkout or with my account manager.

I opened WhatsApp and I saw that a few hours ago (like 4 PM), my account manager had sent me an invoice for the 500 euro payment.

I straight away asked for a refund, I was told:

"Don't you want to continue?
As when we will do refund taxes will be deducted"

Semalt wants to ensure that I pay the Fastspring processing fee. What the fck is this?

I have absolutely 0 fcks about the payment fees you incur when you illegally charge your existing customers.

My account manager charged my card knowingly without my approval and any response from me at all to his initial message.

25th of January - I was assured that a refund would be issued, a full one, so I don't have to pay any fees.

30th of January - No refund yet, I sent a message to my account manager asking if it has been processed yet. I received a response saying "Yes, it's done from our side"

Today, 12th of February - As someone in e-commerce, I know very well that a refund does not take damn near 20 days to process. I had just written another message to my account manager, asking for proof of the refund.

This is A REAL REVIEW amongst many PAID ones.

Paid reviews? Yes.

Look through the reviews, for example, there's this one guy who is from the Netherlands and has left a 5-star review on Semalt's Trustpilot. If you open his Trustpilot profile you will see he has 25 more reviews on Trustpilot, all across different foreign websites, in different foreign languages. Seems like someone is spending his hours writing fake reviews for pennies.

Anyway.

Semalt, I am not looking forward to your response to this. However, be very careful with how you treat this review. I have full documentation, including chat logs with my account manager and I will happily post the link here for everyone to see.

I will get my money back through my bank if I have not received the refund by the 15th of February.

Regardless, this review will stay.

Semalt is one of worst company i have ever worked , technically they are dumb, I have taken one-year auto SEO services, and in auto SEO service for one year they do on-page optimization , what they did was they market some good traffic links as no index and I came to know after few months when revenue dropping, i lost thousands of dollars, even till now my pages are marked as no index even after I removed them website , never trust them worst company

OMG, I wish I integrated their Dedicated SEO Dashboard since day one. It just does the trick to keep people from leaving when the only thing they need is an analytics report. It’s insightful, easy to use for customers, and easy to launch for freelancers like me. Kudos to everyone involved in creating such a beautiful dashboard!

Semalt seemed to be the best fit for us because their service is international. There are a lot of local services that can do little for an e-commerce store targeting a slew of countries. Semalt isn’t one of those. They set up a global SEO campaign for our business and optimized 3 of our projects for our target geographies. We couldn’t be any happier with the results.

FullSEO is the best SEO service I’ve ever been offered. I mean, they all offer some cookie-cutter packages with the same contents, right? But Semalt rocked my world when they came up with something utterly exclusive. They kinda customized their SEO service for me by putting together what was best for my site back then.
