The company took advantage of me. Avoid selling to them AT ALL COSTS. I had an old macbook pro laptop from 2020 that lists on eBay for $300 and they offered me $45. I knew it was a low ball offer but it was trade in value so I accepted it. Once they received the device they made up a story about how it "needed a new battery" and so they could only offer a max of $25.

I wasn't pretending it was the newest computer in the world but they were predatory. You will send in your device and they will make up an excuse to low ball you even further. There was nothing wrong with my machine. The battery was normal wear and tear for a laptop of that age.

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

Their website offered a buy back price lower than a private sale, but higher than eBay or Craigslist. Bidding sites like eBay have increased fees: listing, selling price, flat rates for a reserve, and back end waiting during shipment to payment. This made this site more valuable. As described: they send you quote within 24 hours via email/shipping label free through ups ground, arrives 1-2 days via UPS, scanned in at their location, and then within 4 business days their intake process was completed. The payment through PayPal was approved on a Monday. This waited in a payment que until Weds or two business days with a email confirming the original quality and quote dropping into my account. These were immediately withdrawable. Total time from arrival of my lap top on a Thursday morning, non business days over the weekend; yields a total time for 6 days between arrival to payment. 4 total business days not including the weekend. I sent over 4 emails and all were addressed within 24 hours. Two places calls were answered and conversations with human staff were positive. The experience matched their description.

sent them my mac on the 3rd of july, they received it on the 6th, its now the 16th and i have no clue what is going on, they are not replying to my emails.

the quoted me at $6342 for my mac, now i cant get a hold of anyone at the company and they are not replying to my emails. i filed a complaint with the bbb and will be taking them to small claims court in a few days probably.

these 5 star reviews have got to be fake, the company is a disaster apparently, was bought out by foreigners and ruined.

i would like to point out im not worried, ill be getting my money or my mac either way and i wont be paying to have it shipped back to me either lol...

I posted a very negative review after I did not get a check and the company did not respond to my emails and phone messages to the addresses and phone numbers they posted on line over a period of three weeks. But then on my third email I finally did get a very nice response and they sent me a new check via UPS one day. So I am reviving my review. I sent my computer via their paid service via UPS and got a response that the check was in the mail in that short a time. It was traumatic not getting the check but we know the post office is less reliable these days so I appreciate them sending a check via UPS after the initial delay in responding to my requests.

I recently bought a MacBook Pro for the prior semester of school and could not figure it out and went back to a HP with windows. I thought I was going to take a loss on selling my computer with most offers in the $1,400’s. However SellYourMac paid the highest at $1,821! They made the loss less painful. My computer was in great shape and I shipped right away. I also used PayPal to receive my payment and it was as they say, instantly there at the moment, I got the email from them. The process was extremely smooth, and surpassed my expectations. They responded surprisingly quickly to email questions, were very professional in communications, and managed my expectations well. I just got an email saying that they were actually going to pay more than the estimate I received because the laptop was in better shape than I had indicated (I was being extremely overcautious when I initially filled out the form). If my interactions were representative of their standard, and if you are entirely transparent when you submit a request for an estimate, you can expect an outstanding experience!

I sent them a flawless iPad to sell. They said it had scuffs ? . Sent pics which showed nothing on them. I said send the iPad back to me . Will not accept your lowball Price. 35% below their quote. Now they have ghosted me. They do not answer the phone. They do not answer their emails. I have now sent 5 emails with no reply to any. So I am now without an iPad and the money. They are thieves and crooks .

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They will completely lie about the products you send in. They tried to lie on me and I sent them pics of the device from when I packed it.

They quoted me one rate for a device that was sent to them flawlessly. When they received the device they stated that the device was not in flawless condition. They sent back photos of a device that did not match the condition I sent them and then stated that they wanted to pay me $100 less than what was quoted. The device was sent with zero dirt on it and the photo they sent me had dust all over it.

They gave me a fair quote on my MacBook Pro, processed it quickly, and paid promptly. They received it on a Tuesday, and Thursday night I had payment for the full amount I was quoted. Thanks for a smooth and pleasant experience.

Great experience! They bought my MacBook and sent me the payment exactly as promised and very quickly.

I have purchased 3 separate times from this company. Every one of them was a positive experience.

First time was iPad mini - was cheaper than expected. - purchased through ebay.

Second was iPad pro - great overall experience. They upgraded my shipping for free. Came in two days.

Third order was a Macbook Pro - I emailed them wanting the best "lightly used" laptop with a few specific things (1TB HD, 16 GB Ram) and they showed me three examples. Purchased right from them.

Overall an A+ in my book. Will be purchasing from them again.

I had a on-its-deathbed iPad that not even Apple wanted for a trade-in, but SellYourMac offered and in short order paid me for it. Only a few bucks . . . but better than nothing. Their email prompts along the way were timely and accurate. They had FedEx send me shipping labels (free to me) and I commandeered an old box and some popcorn for cushioning to get the iPad safely to them. They got the money safely to me via PayPal. Will I use SellYourMac next time one of my Apple products is having a near-death experience? Absolutely!
