I am a quantitative geneticist with over 25 years of global experience applying genomic science to livestock, forest trees, and crops. After earning my Ph.D. in animal breeding from the University of New England, I led genomic selection programs at Pfizer Animal Genetics, Monsanto and NZ Forest Research Institute. Since 2017, I have been a Senior Research Scientist at Agriculture Victoria and, currently, a Senior Quantitative Geneticist at Qingyuan Seeds, where I design and deploy genomic selection workflows for hybrid maize, soybean, canola, lentil, and chickpea. Across species, I have delivered decision tools that routinely double prediction accuracy, shorten breeding cycles by 30–50 %, and preserve long-term genetic diversity.

The seek pass only accepts work email addresses for your career history check.
When you work in a private domestic environment like I do, and have done both here and overseas for 20 years, a company email address is not needed.
I deal with companies world wide who accept a personal email address for correspondence.
The system makes me feel like a failure or that my work isn't recognised or appreciated simply because it's not linked to a company.

asking for the most private information nowadays to be stored electronically is very disappointing and flirting with danger. There are no guaranties that my personal details will not be hacked and used criminally.
Not providing them is the safest option.
