Absolutely disgusted by this money grabbing horrible company.
They quoted us roughly £800
To Complete a house purchase, there was a slight issue so we expected to pay a little more - not £6000 more!!!

Company in general was rude, unhelpful couldn't care less they had taken from a young family on a very tight budget and caused numerous delays in our sale because they didn't relay our messages to the seller when we asked them to.

Gave us a itemised bill - one of the obscene entries was £17.50 to tell us our account had gained 54p in interest.

Oh and £17.50 to tell us how much we owed them.

Now having to get this bill taxed as they think is perfectly justifiable

Now Desperately trying to have my reviews removed. But they won't be because no one deserves to have money taken from this like this.

Steer well clear of scullion law, believe the reviews (they are currently trying to get ours taken down!!!)

* Edit We have contacted Charmaine as well you know, and waited nearly two months for a reply, scullion after review decided they hadn't over charged us (shock) so this will now be taken to the law Society and I await a response from them.

Do not trust this firm. It’s all about money. Pay upfront or we won’t represent you, scaremongering into thinking they can actually help - they can’t, I would have been better representing myself. Please go elsewhere, I can recommend places

Second time used Farrah at Scullion’s. First time no problem and good experience . However tread warily with this company’s values. My house sale fell through and yes may sound like sour grapes but was hit for full Legal fees again!
Another £1330 for a duplication of title searching etc than had already been done ! These Lawyers are simply ruthless, with no negotiation whatsoever !
There are much better Law companies around if this is the way they operate. I would never recommend any friends or colleagues to utilise their services again. All about money with zero care factor.

No complaints with the service however for a straightforward legal separation I was charged over £6,000 despite being initially quoted between £2.5 - £5k, don't ask to have documents posted out, I was quoted £250 for that !, Disputed monies also deducted from my settlement, complained but subsequently having to take case to Law Commission, very disappointing experience after reading their reviews, think carefully, wouldnt want this to happen to you, also wanted money paid up front before they would do work, still they have so many positive reviews? Must just be me

Having seen the company’s standard response, I did speak to Charmaine however at no point were any of my concerns addressed, I did advise them that I had sought independent legal advice, that advice has led me to taking a complaint up with Law Commission, I’m very much looking forward to this opportunity

Contacted Scullion law last year after receiving 3 driving charges under the failure to report category, following a supermarket bump. Lucy and Chris handled my case and kept me informed and reassured throughout. They were able to help me keep my licence with minimum points, which was a huge relief for me. Thanks again.

Extorted money from us. We told them what we wanted, they gave us a price. They did that work, then just before we had to complete, they asked for £300 more, stating that if they didn't get paid, they'd not do any more work. They knew fine we'll we'd pay it as they had £650,000 of our money and a legal deadline to complete the house purchase.
Absolute scumbags. They refuse to return any of the money. No solicitors are any good, but these are the worst of the worst.

This was a devastating experience through the worse time of my life. I dealt with Kris first of all who inspired confidence and went ahead. I ended up with Nigel Scullion. The whole situation was an absolute farce from start until finish. Nigel disregarded everything I said from start until finish (whilst raising his eyes and making faces whilst I spoke). I was then told I had to appear at court after being told I didn’t. It was Easter so I could not get the day off work so was extremely stressed and finally it was noted that I was not to appear after all. My charge was refusing to supply a breath test (I have asthma) which Nigel did not believe despite me paying £200 for two Dr’s letters and showing my prescription. The advice that he had given was the complete opposite of the advice of Kris (which contributed to me getting convicted). I also had to represent myself at court - on my own with no support whatsoever as I was by myself and my friend who had offered to come with me for support died 3 days before from cancer. He left me on the day of the court case because he wanted me to plead guilty and I wouldn’t (because I wasn’t). All in all I paid over £2000 a random £500 - without me knowing, just receiving a call asking for this! Nigel left court when he let me represent myself with all of my notes, my prescription and my Dr’s letters. It caused me a nervous breakdown.

Mohammed replied all our questions promptly and managed the whole conveyancing process in a very professional manner.

Good experience dealing with Scullion Law on the purchase of 2 properties, Farrah who dealt with my case was very professions & helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to explain matters clearly. Would definitely recommend them.

I must say Chris and his advice was very helpful and during and at 2 nd hearing meanwhile corresponding at any time with Lucy was 100 percent .I must say at and leading up to 3rd and last Lucy was magnificent and can’t thank her enough !

From start to finish, the whole team were fantastic and can't speak highly enough of the service we received. It was a very different experience from previous house selling and purchase processes - we didn't need to follow up on anything - the team were the ones keeping us on track.
