Love Screaming Chimp
Love Screaming Chimp! Fast delivery and really well packaged. We love the pineapple as goes with pretty much everything, as does the original and they’re great for those who love flavour without the heat. Tried the oil for the first time and it’s so versatile and has a really lovely well rounded flavour. I’m even a fan of the Smokey, (and I said I wasn’t a fan of smoked flavours haha). Mon-key Lime is my favourite for turning up the heat to the max, but it’s limited edition so keep an eye out for it! The customer service is above and beyond. There’s clearly a lot of knowledge, love and passion behind these products and I urge you to try.

First time I've bought direct
First time I've bought direct, I normally buy various sauces when I visit Whitby. Easy to order from website, fast delivery and the howler is a fantastic hot sauce, you really get the chilli flavour before the heat hits. Will be a regular purchaser.

Great sauce
Great sauce! Taste and heat are perfect. I live in Australia and the delivery time and packaging were also great. I was recommended this sauce by Johnny Scoville as he did a review on his channel, chase the heat. I recommend Screaming Chimp for all your sauce needs. God bless 🙏

Love it! I made several questions before purchase and the responses were always amicable and prompt. As for the sauces, 10 out of 10! Will recommend! :)

Love the sauces but not the customer service
Love the sauces, but the website is misleading, they're still offering deals that no longer exist. I ordered the 4 sauce deal which included chilli oil & chilli mayonnaise. They didn't arrive with the order. On emailing Screaming Chimp I was informed it was no longer cost effective to include the additional sauces in the deal. The offer had been withdrawn and the website updated. When I advised the deal was still on their website I was advised to refresh it. That I did and the deal is still advertised. I visited the website 10 days later and the offer is still being advertised. Not impressed as until they remove the offer they should be honouring orders placed. Please remove the deal if you're not going to honour it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, although I’m a little confused.
The 3&4 sauce deals only list four sauces. If they’d been on the deal like you say, they’d have been posted.
Your order was for 3 pineapple sauces and 1 original sauce.
None of the other sauces were in the drop down menu, which is why you couldn’t order them and that is why they weren’t delivered.
I’m glad you emailed when you did and told me they were still in the description, but they’ve not been there since you emailed, so I’m a little confused by your comments here.
By way of an apology, I’m sending you one of each of the Mayo and Oil and hope you enjoy them. 😃

Chimpolte was disappointing
I purchased the Chimpotle sauce. I paid £5.80 which I did feel was overpriced, (I know it is £4.99 on their own website) but even that's a lot for the size. Anyway I wanted to support a local business so I bought it but I am disappointed with the taste. To me it tastes like tomato soup. On the bottle it has a chilli scale of 4 out of 5 which would suggest this would be fairly hot. Also with the name Screaming Chimp would also suggest their products are spicy. However I felt there was no spice at all, if was very mild and bland.
Clearly this company and product is not for me.

As I said on this email before you left this review.
I have to say Chimpotle is our best selling sauce for the reason it has flavour and a little fire. I should imagine that was also the reason it gained a great taste award from the Guild Of Fine food in 2021.
As for the price, I wholesale to the shop and they put a price on it. I don’t price the products in the shop and it’s certainly not up to me what any shop sell them at once they’ve bought them from me.
As for the chilli rating, that’s within my range. If you’re expecting every chilli producer to have tasted every other chilli product on the market and use a generic chilli guide, it’s just not going to happen.
The labels clearly states that it’s 5% chilli, so it’s not going to be very hot and as I said the rating is within the Screaming Chimp core brand. I do many other much hotter products if you look at the website.
Every food producer makes products in their own style although you wanted hotter, maybe try our Tamara or Howler sauces.
I welcome comments of course, but to say it has no flavour with 13 different spices in the sauce, I’d say that maybe you’re not my demographic like all the people that buy it over and over again to the point where I (at the moment) have 4 bottles left in stock.
I trust you won’t keep on Chimpin’ but thanks for the feedback.
Oh.. One last thing. People buy our sauces BECAUSE they’re flavour over fire and food with a little chilli in, not because they heat and no flavour.
Maybe either try one of other sauces after reading the label, or try Bale Fire as it sounds like you may prefer fermented sauces as they have a different twang to them.
Often folks that like that kind of product, can think fresh chilli sauces have no flavour due to ruining their pallet with fermented products.
Let me know if you like to try howler as I’m taking them all to Wakefield this weekend and I can save you one.

New favourite in my kitchen
It has the perfect balance of heat and flavor, and I find myself adding it to everything from eggs to tacos to soups. The packaging is also really cool and eye-catching, which is always a bonus. Overall, I'd give Screamin Chimp hot sauce a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's definitely a new favorite in my kitchen.
