fun block script site
I make fun game with block system and sprites :)
Sign up is easy, sprite making is fun, and being able to gain a following on a game making site, in the browser is fun, I do many ideas, and my ideas don't get finished, but making the project is the fun part
WHYYYYYYY??? ........
Kind of good, but it takes too long to sign in, plus I didn't do anything wrong and when I clicked on 'Need Help' and it said I was banned. Like what? I didn't do anything wrong, plus I have scratch cookies and it can't sign me in. Now I can't even do my shadow project, which I almost finished!
Terrible moderation and community, do not recommend socializing. (Old experience, couldnt type the date in)
Annoying Moderators not accepting my appeal even tho the only thing i did was get banned for ironically giving someone my password, and then i used my alt account to type up on my main account that i got banned due to horrible moderation and then i got perma banned without appeal on the site itself because i was "bypassing" the site itself is very good but it doesn't make up for all the woke shit and stolen stuff on the platform, also the moderators are gooners and don't take their job seriously, 10/10 platform but 0/10 social features and moderation.
I am sorry
I am sorry, but we are not there yet. scratch was supposed to be a better website, but it has became bad. i suppose you should update the rules this time.
Neutral
It’s a great platform, the users are all kind and friendly, but the ‘bad word filter’ is kind of bugged… I had to move a version log in my game inside the project because of a weird malfunction.
There are also impersonators (a recent one being theveryrealteacher3), and they don’t take too long to be fixed (Looking at YOU, Roblox), but it’s long enough for many people to be wrongly banned.
When you DO raise awareness about them, Scratch Team forces you to sit back down. They tell you to report, but how? How do I do that if every one of their projects are unshared? The report feature on their profile doesn’t have any categories that fit what they do.
Really though, it’s a good platform.
Scratch.mit.edu: Banned by a Birthday Card
Scratch.mit.edu is the only website where you can get banned for being too innocent.
I made an account, spent two hours coding my first project, and then I get a message from the Scratch Team saying:
🎉 “You can post again!” like it’s my birthday or something.
Five minutes later? Account terminated.
I didn’t even reply just read it.
Scratch moderation be like: “He opened the message. Get him.”
Meanwhile, the site keeps the cringiest stuff alive wolf roleplays, “gacha trauma OCs,” and 3-frame “animations” with 12,000 likes.
They’ll ban you for saying “lol,” but let someone post ‘Among Us Love Story Part 14’ and call it “featured content.”
Scratch.mit.edu isn’t a coding site anymore it’s a kindergarten with a block editor and a ban hammer.
I LAV THIS!!!
At school, I got given a laptop to use scratch and its so fun to mess around!!!!
IHATESCRATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
IHATESCRATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they don't ban actual bad people
they don't ban actual bad people. they just ban people for no reason like its a game.
Crappy Moderation
not great
Scratch is a website where kids can make fun projects and share them with others in a safe place, right? Wrong. Scratch's moderation system is absolutely horrendous. Some stuff slips through that filter like butter and kids are seeing some disgusting content! Plus, their moderator team is pathetically understaffed.

Mistaken account ban and won't even let me unblock me (even after contacting support)
On June 30, 2025 between 5 PM and 5:30 PM (PST) (I believe), when I was bored when I was about to play a game on Scratch, I got a ban message that is not about my username, it's about the account named 8oz_or_liter. It says that there a account abuse about 8oz_or_liter. However, I have never created that account because I don't know who it is. The time it happened (when they banned me) was June 30, 2025, 5:13 PM. Not sure if I'm supposed to say this but it's a account named (in quotes) "Your_punishment" (I created that for a little funny reason in April 2025) but currently right now, the page does not exist (I do not currently have a Scratch account). I did contact support but they never responded. So after June 30, 2025 (starting on July 1, 2025), I'm starting to get bored. And I proved to them why I do not own the account 8oz_or_liter. But before 5 PM on June 30, 2025, I was doing something and was eating something at 5 PM. However, it mentions that I shouldn't be creating new accounts to bypass the ban. So I didn't create any other accounts and no action was taken (including my account ban). However, I did have a huge project (it was a Fruit Ninja project but see below) that I was about to share between July 2025 and Aug 2025 but it was cancelled because of the account ban. On Jul 9, 2025, I gotten a response. They said they block a Scratch account if it violates the community guidelines. However, the account Your_punishment (the one I created in April) didn't violate it. It's not because of my username, it's because of a account named 8oz_or_liter. It says the account was created and confirmed my email address but I did not do that in the past because before then, I did play games on Scratch but I did not create a account. The same thing for the things that happened for the past few years. I'll provide a script on what the conversation looks like below (very far below of this text). Also, I did make some good projects that I made on June 2025 like one example of Blinding Lights Geometry Dash (where it's a remix of griffpatch's Geometry Dash that is released in 2016 in Scratch) that I modified the icon into The Weeknd, changed the song into Blinding Lights by The Weeknd, and there wasn't anything bad on it and when I shared it with my friends and people liked it. The project I was about to share (in Jul-Aug 2025) was the Fruit Ninja and Aggretsuko project. It started in late 2021 (the collaboration) and if my account never got banned and shared it right now, it would be the first Fruit Ninja and Aggretsuko project in Scratch before anybody else. It's a remix from a another Fruit Ninja project (a popular project). Also, I was also planning to make other Fruit Ninja projects (not silly but real ones for those who missed the event(s)):
- I was about to plan on making the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Fruit Ninja project which I did mention in 1 project which I could start in 2026 or 2027 (in the real app, it happened in 2023) and then finish it between 2027 to 2029 (or 2030 I believe) (I couldn't remember on exactly what I wrote because I forgot most of the parts already).
- And a collaboration in June 2025 (it did happen, trust me) that is Fruit Ninja (yes, but mostly at Fruit Ninja Classic+) and Bluey (yes, it's real). I was about to write that I'm starting the Fruit Ninja and Bluey collaboration that is planned in the future mentioning to start between early 2026 to early or mid 2027 (because there's limited info about the blades and blade powers in June 2025) and I estimated that I would finish by 2026 (late?) to early to late 2027 or 2028. Here is the script of the talk about the account ban when contacting Scratch (note that I first contacted by the Contact Us on the website (at the bottom of the page) then continued through the email):
Me (Jun 30, 2025 at 5:20 PM (PST)): Hello! At 5:13 PM at Jun 30, 2025, I was banned saying that I was the account of 8oz_or_liter and I have never created that account. I haven't done something like this before and it's a mistake
Me (2nd response (shortly after half a hour)) (Jun 30, 2025 at 5:59 PM (PST)): I forgot to mention this. I also have not been reported once because I wasn't saying anything bad
Scratch support (note that I changed my email to the term "[email]") (Jul 9, 2025 at 3:51 PM (PST)): Thank you for contacting us about your account. We block a person’s Scratch accounts when they do not follow the Community Guidelines, including any past, present, and future accounts they use. Although the rules may have been broken on a different username, changing accounts does not undo your actions. The account was created and confirmed under your email address [email], making you responsible for the account.
There's a character limit when writing this review so I couldn't continue writing the script
Would recommend lol
Support was very kind on getting my account back! You can create your own projects and so much more, and there's a high chance you'll get distracted on the explore page!
Hate you for Deleting my Project just…
Hate you for Deleting my Project just because i added a Bomb in my game, THERE WAS NO VIOLENCE!
Allowes Antisemitism and do nothing to…
Allowes Antisemitism and do nothing to remove terrorist students
the community cant get along
the website is nice, but the moderation team sucks ass, they literally accept false reports, while the team its self staying there don't give a crap about the mods ruining there creators, they perma banned my main handey00123 thinking that I'm being my 2021 self just because of trying to stop a false reports who keeps sending threats to the people I known, and they also done this to other people, I don't know why the team is ain't accepting our sorry message. and when literally not removing the mod who's review all the reports and banning people, I would put this on 5 stars if they remove all the mods and find new ones who is much the best and less strict, whoever is under the control of the moderation suck ass at there job. other then that. I love this website, its a easy way to create my horror games.
Scratch Team not Responding Correctly
I have contacted the Scratch Team about my account that is blocked and they don't give something about it, if they would do something about it like unblocking me, then this would be changed and I would give it 5 stars but it's this right now.
Scratch Team simply delete my project that not scary, don't have blood and gore. And Scratch Team don't delete some of the scary projects.
Scratch Team simply delete my project that not scary, don't have blood and gore. And Scratch Team don't delete some of the scary projects. What happened to Scratch Team's mind?
Seriously?
They IP banned me for a good year.
Tried to appeal, didn't respond.
