I contacted the company to ask for advice for my mare’s skin and coat. She is already on a couple of their supplements which have benefitted her enormously. I sent her current diet and they responded with they thought it was spot on and not to add anything except to increase the linseed oil. I was so impressed that they were more interested in my horses well being than in selling me a product ( which I would have added if they had recommended) such integrity is to be applauded

I’ve used several other branded Calver’s with no or little effect on my competition ponies. I switched to Prokalm on a recommendation and it’s a game changer. I have a few blood type ponies and this product takes the edge of them so well. They are easier to handle, focus at shows and in general perform better. Recommend anyone to try it!

I have exhausted every calmer known (After all necessary health checks) as my ex racehorse suffer extreme food aggression to the point of I can’t go in his stable if he has hay in there.
Today he had 1 scoop of Prokalm in his tea and was left over an hour and when I went to him, I entered his stable with brush in hand and began cautiously grooming… Wow! I can truly say what a difference.
No ears back, no lunging at me and no threats.
He continued to much away and even went for a drink without a care in the world.
I did take a video but can’t upload it.
This maybe beginners luck, however I am going to do a weekly assessment to see.
For today I am taking the win and I truly believe this is a great product.
**Update-I have ordered a bigger pack as the difference in the stable is massive. I’m so happy

I have now been using gastrokind for 6wks , I can honestly say its just amazing my 18.3 warm blood mare is like a different girl, she's so happy, less spooky , less stressed and so much more pleasurable to be around. The girthiness has gone completely... no swishes of her tail when any leg goes on.. she is a different horse! I've never written a review but this product absolutely deserves it!!! Buy it !!

DOES NOT CONTAIN AMINO ACIDS - the essential building blocks of a horses tissues!!

I got asked to leave a 5 star review to get a discount on my purchase, I won't purchase from them again.

I was astonished when I realised their 'balancer' didn't have the basics amino acids that every horse needs - let alone a veteran horse.

Here is their reply to my query

"WellHorse Veteran is a vitamin and mineral supplement and therefore does not contain any amino acids. It has been formulated to meet the National Research Council’s recommendations for vitamins and minerals, so you can be assured that it contains everything vital for a balanced diet."

Yet on their sales page for their product

'The cornerstone of good nutrition is a balanced diet. A balanced diet is one that supplies all the essential nutrients that a horse needs every day, without net gain or loss. Ensuring an adequate supply of energy, protein, carbohydrates (including fibre) and lipids (oils and fats) is easier in horse diets than ensuring enough vitamins and minerals.

Grass and preserved forages such as hay are always short of some essential vitamin and minerals.

Feed Balancer? Forage Balancer? Vitamin & Mineral Supplement? Are they the same?

Yes! Basically, a different name for the same thing.'

I have had my veteran horse supplements supplied directly by Science Supplements for several years now. The subscription method is quite a saving and easily amended each month if required. My horse will be 27 this year and is on both the Veteran formula and RespirAid. I have particularly found the breathing supplement to work wonders on my horse who was diagnosed with COPD via scoping in 2009. Would recommend.

My horse is 20yr old and a hunt horse. I bought the Premier Performance joint to see how much of a difference it would make and honestly, in a season of mostly road work and tracks due to the great British weather, he’s never felt better! Our new not-so-secret ingredient to success!

Just love these products! I always use Well Horse Performance which was recommended to me by the company after I enquired about a product to help my mares skin, which it definitely has helped. I also use the Natural E. Most recently however my horse developed a slight cough, I think due to the seasonal changes and her now being stabled more than in summer. I thought I would give the RespirAid Express a go, just WOW! after 2 days her cough has gone, wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

I have been using the science supplements Flexability K9 for my dog for the past year . At ten years old he was starting to look a little stiff and becoming less active on walks , since been on the supplement he has returned back to his former self, no longer stiff and bouncing along

Great products, palatable for fussy eaters and products that work. I've used them on 3 different horses now and impressed on each.
I have also used their Canine Prokalm and found this to be very effective helping our rescue with her anxiety.

I ordered the Gut Balancer powder and the syringe. The feeding information does say that the powder has a strong taste and to introduce slowly, with even just a pinch of the powder my pony wouldn't go near his feed. We tried hiding it in various ways but he still refused to eat. My yard owner is very experienced but she found the syringe very hard to use. It's quite large to handle and the contents rather thick so was very hard to administer. I wouldn't purchase either again.

I have been using the gastrokind supplement for 2 months. My mare was settled and happy. We tried her without it and the change was extraordinary!!! We quickly ordered more. Gastrokind definitely keeps her sensitive tummy much happier!
