I purchased some repair parts for a DJ Controller. The parts shipped relatively quickly (I live in the Netherlands), however upon arrival I found that one of the two parts was broken. The parts were simply wrapped in a wad of bubble wrap, shoved in a padded envelope- I believe this poor packaging is the reason for the damage. I contacted the vendor using the Contact Us link on their website but have not received a response (it has now been more than 7 days). I ordered from SBS AV because they were the only vendor I could find who stocked these parts- I will not order from them again and would suggest you consider another vendor if possible.

Exactly the item I was after...a fader control for a Numark mixer. Arrived next day. Perfect.

Ordered a part which turned up broken, 2 weeks later after several calls & emails I still haven’t had a response from the team in regards to a replacement or refund policy

No communication what so ever. I have ordered some part that were supposed to be shipped within a month. Send them two emails about it. 3 months later they finaly contact me saying that the parts were here but that I needed to replace the order as the payement had been cancelled.

Avoid them if you can and if you don't, I hope you are not in a hurry.

Took 3 months total to receive items ordered. SBS were having trouble sourcing one item on my order but instead of contacting me and letting me know of this problem, they just let my order sit there.

I only found out about this delay by way of contacting them myself a month later, after seeing there was no update to my order. I think the correct thing to do in this situation is to contact the client, let them know of the problem and offer to send the items that they have in stock currently rather than put the whole order on hold because of one item.

Eventually after 2 months of waiting they said that they would not be able to source the item and asked me would I like to continue with my order minus the problematic item, to which I agreed.

I was then notified two days later that my original payment had expired due to the long wait and I would have to send the payment again, this should have been explained to me on the day I agreed to continue with my order not two days later causing me further delay.

So I think this is it, my order will finally be on it's way after two and a half months of waiting... I'm afraid the saga doesn't end here.

Another three weeks goes by and I get a message to say my order has been canceled, no explanation, just that it is canceled. Once again I have to contact SBS to ask what is happening, I am only then informed that this was an error in the warehouse.

Finally on the 9th of April I get a message to say my order has shipped, bear in mind that I placed my order on the 11th January! You can take a week off that length of time due to my message response time but that is still a ridiculous amount of time to process an order.

Personally I don't think that this is an acceptable level of professional in this day and age and I received no compensation or gesture of goodwill for such an extended wait. For the reasons mentioned above, unfortunately I cannot recommend the use of this company's services to others.
