Absolute P*** take. This is billed as a family festival, we went along and upon entry they refused us to take a small picnic blanket in, no reason given just that they’re not allowed! But it seems if... Se mere

It's scam
GBP 15 ticket to enter. Then you need to pay for a pint of cider, which were unknown brands. One of sales girls didn't know where these ciders came from, she suggested to go to see LIDL
No choice of sausages, just one kind with two different sauces on top. It was scam.
It was ok
Well organised event, good amount of toilets, lighting and security. All staff we had dealings with were friendly and polite.
However, once you are in and a captive audience the food and drink expensive and not great choice, no sweet things on offer and not enough soft drinks available for those not wanting alcohol. Bag searches take place to ensure you can only buy food and drink from their stalls and re-entry not allowed. Sausages in a cheap bun £7 each. Drinks expensive.
Tribute bands were hit and miss.
Overall it was ok but when charging £30 per ticket it made it too expensive.
Awful rip off prices & really bad sausages !
Awful rip off prices, horrid food and rude staff. Not what I expected. Disgusting !
Crap.
Crap.
Love cider and love sausage (easy..). This was basically 3 vans cooking for 500 people which basically meant you waited an hour in a queue for a sausage in a bun?
Pointless.
Cider was ok but nothing like an actual real Ale/Cider event. Limited choice.
The whole thing just needs more staff. £30 a ticket JUST TO GET IN??? Put some more BBQ’s on, employ some more 16 year olds but do something.
You go to this event, you want to be able to grab a beer/cider and some food quickly. It’s not Woodstock, Coachella or Glastonbury?!?? It’s 400 overpaid people in a public park. A least make it easy.
Won’t be going again.
Left early to go have my home made chilli con carne and watch Kardashian’s.
Lack of choice in sausages and overpri…
Lack of choice in sausages and overpri ing made for a poor festival even if it was free entry but to charge made for a terrible event . Went for a meal afterwards and that says so much about how overpriced and disappointing the Glasgow ( Sunday) event was will not waste My time returning
Absolute joke not one bit worth it…
Absolute joke not one bit worth it ....don't go ..i 650 for a sausage shove it up your back side
Poorly organised
Poorly organised. Queue to get in was around 30 mins & they didn’t let people in until 6pm which was when the DJ was on so missed that.
Queue for Cider was 45 mins to an hour, cider was warm & overpriced. Sausage tents had massive queues so didn’t even get one. Wanted to watch the acts not queue all night.
Not well not organised at all, not enough stands, staff really slow, everything overpriced & just rather disappointing. Have never had to queue like that at any of the big festivals & you wouldn’t expect to at a tiny one like this.
Will not be going again
Disappointing and overpriced
Disappointing.
Good music but there were only 3 stands selling sausages and the queues were ridiculous. We had the apparent Bratwurst and it's was tasteless, and no extras came with it for £5.80.
There was one cider stand with a half an hour queue to get a drink, and the same for the prosecco bar which cost £12.00 for a plastic cup full !!
We had expectations of lots of stands scattered about with all sorts of different sausages from around the world, and the same for the cider.
Won't go again.
Absolute joke!!
Absolute joke!!
Paid £30 each, had to wait 15 minutes to get in.
Once in there was 3 stands selling cheap costco hotdogs and one stand with a few warm ciders.
Everything was overpriced and everything had a massive line. Waited about 30 minutes for my warm cider and another 20 for an awful hotdog.
Event is a joke
Good music, bad everything else.
The music was great but the food and drink was over priced. £5 for a warm 400ml can of red stripe is not OK. Bar staff opened cans at point of purchase so buying them in bulk led to flat beer by the time we got to them. Expect to pay around £10 for snack sized servings from the food vendors. Queue to be served was 30 minutes at every stand.
Huddersfield sausage and cider festival…
Huddersfield sausage and cider festival last night. Great fun had by all in my group. Yes the food and drink is expensive however, we go to regular events, festivals and concerts therefore it's of no surprise to us. Great tribute acts too. Roll on beer & curry fest in July 😊
A fab night in Huddersfield last night
A fab night in Huddersfield last night, sausage, cider, fantastic music, amazing company, what else could you want! Will definitely be booking again for next year!!!
Every now and then...
Every now and then, a new experience comes along to define a new paradigm, rewrite the rules and show the way for a new way of being for young and old alike. I believe Sausage and Cider Fest follows in the line of Woodstock, Acid House's The Second Summer of Love, and the War on Terror, to remold what it is to be alive on Planet Earth at this particular Juncture in time. Sausages, Cider and rollicking great tribute bands are the words that future (and dare I say, New) generations are going revolve around as an expression of their individuality and collective unity, both. Truly era defining. And New!
Plymouth Hoe Sausage and Cider Festival 2022
Went with a couple of friends in Plymouth on tickets that had been bought pre-COVID, so postponed a number of times unfortunately.
Not quite sure what this event was but I'm guessing it was roped-in with the 1 Big Summer music thing.
Ticket prices were fine but this was not a sausage and cider festival. Anyone whos been to a proper beer or cider festival knows you do not charge £6 for a pint or tin of sh**ty lager. £8 for a sausage in a bun or £12 for one with a couple of chips and pulled pork? That's just taking the p*ss.
I know big music event festivals are steep on beer and food prices, bit this was a sausage and cider festival. Actually, no it wasn't. It was a music event with a couple of bars and a few crappy sausage stands.
We left after an hour and went on a pub crawl.
Next time if you want to rob me, at least have the decency to wear a mask...
Event company needs shutting down
This event is absolutely shameful. We paid to go with the FULL perception it was for families as well however they changed their advertising and put a disclaimer ‘anyone who has purchased for under 18 will not be reimbursed. They obviously knew there would be an issue. They also bought reviews on platforms. Awful company, awful rip off scam event organising. They really should be shut down.
Never again it was a big disappointment…
Never again it was a big disappointment thought we would get a sample for how much we paid for the entrance fee 13.75 walked in a dark room thought it would hosted outside not enough seating cider from cartons warm £5 for a can of lager would not recommend this festival
Cider And Sausage Festival minus the Sauage RIP OFF
Went to the sausage and cider festival today in Morden park. A bit overcast lovely venue. Had a couple of Ciders so far so good. Time to eat the time is now 15:15 hours (open until 21:00) I could not believe it Run out of food so departed to find somewhere to eat, Disgraceful they did not cater as tickets were pre sold on line so they must have known who was attending, Disgusting, don't waste your time and money on a disorganised festival.
Not worth the money
Got invited to this event in Leeds by a friend I'd not seen in a while. All the promotional material made me suspicious before the fact, but I'd not seen this guy in a while so decided to go. First of all, the ticket price of £15 gets you nothing but entry to the venue. Ouch. On entering the darkened room that would host the evening, my first thought was the word "festival" was a somewhat grandiose term for the event given there were a whopping 3 cider bars and 3 sausage stands. There was also a gin bar for those who had travelled to the event from Victorian Britain and beer stand selling 330ml cans for £5. All of the stands seemed to have recycled frames from other events - the place selling cans had an October Fest vibe, there was a Mexican skull thing presumably from a tequila event, a pineapple from I guess a rum festival or something. Sausages were so so (think German Christmas Market in Home Bargains - edible but disappointing) and you're charged £6 to have one of these in a cheap bun. Cider prices varied but were typically over £5. Half pints cost more than half the price of a full pint so a nice way to skim money from more responsible patrons. There was nowhere near enough seating for the number of people at the event, which given how little there was to see must have been a slog for those standing around. The live music was typically corporate event cover bands - competent older blokes reminding people of the past - but the lighting was terrible. The stage wasn't lit up but for some reason there were these sort of search lights shining on and blinding anyone who dared to look at the stage (to be fair, this was more the fault of the venue, but it is still something the event organisers should have sorted).
On the whole this felt like a cheesy, corporate cash grab, like some kind of Apprentice task, and I'll certainly trust my instincts in the future and not go.
Best part of the festival was a drunk patron dressed as a hotdog who spent the night dancing in front of the stage.
Extremely poor event
I would put 0 stars but not an option. Attended at Leeds 30th April 22. £13.75 a ticket which was steep, no free tasters at all or options to trial before you buy. Not enough seating to say it was ticketed event so knew numbers in advance.
The room was dark and like entering a night club in the afternoon. Cider from most stalls were boxed and warm only 1 vendor had handpumped cold cider.
3 sausage stalls selling hotdogs for £6 each. Condiments/toppings for hotdogs not restocked throughout the event. Long wait for anything.
It was exceptionally poor quality and would not recommend. Rhubarb and German markets in Wakefield that are free were much better.
Shameful customer service
Sorry but can’t post a zero on here but that’s what it should be
We paid for tickets for this event in derby this year at a considerable cost
My partner inadvertently put the wrong email address in so no tickets
14 emails later to the info address for this site plus the company who takes the money
Guess what
No further forward!!!
They have taken the money (no surprise there)
But no one has the decency to respond by email (the correct email) or to phone us to sort it out
We have supplied name, address bank card details email address bank transfer details
NOTHING BACK
Shameful on a company to not respond to their customers who do make a mistake
Sausage and cider festival we welcome your shameful response
