You are spending your time for nothing guys and girls!After I sent them around 20 kinds of documents they answer after a week or so that I was declined. I am legal, I pay taxes and nearly having no credit debts. They don care about people - thats it!

- Their answer is: “your application for account opening has been rejected”.

I am really lucky that I didn’t open the account, I would surely have problems.
I ask to myself: what does Lithuanian central bank do? Does it sleep? Is it aware of these behaviours?

I was opening an account with this FAKE neo bank. In the APP the verification went wrong, as my face could not be recognized. After that they asked me why I would come to Satchell ???? so why do they offer the service ? They want to know all my transactions and funds in the recent passed, haha what a fools, they just send home potential clients. DO NOT TRUST !

Biometric verification: We use facial recognition technology to verify identity and prevent fraud. If the system encounters technical difficulties, our team follows up with alternative verification methods to complete the process securely.

Source of funds questions: As a regulated financial institution, we are legally required under EU Anti-Money Laundering regulations to understand the nature and purpose of the business relationship with our clients. Questions about the origin of funds and intended account usage are mandatory compliance requirements – not optional inquiries. All licensed banks, EMIs, and payment institutions across Europe must collect this information during onboarding.

These requirements exist to protect the integrity of the financial system and all customers using it. While we understand this level of scrutiny can feel intrusive, declining to provide this information means we cannot proceed with account opening, as we would be in breach of our regulatory obligations.

Yes, they are more expensive than the average EMI to get started.

But! The customer service level is immense!

Fraud Company

I uploaded the necessary documents for open an account and deposited a €180 balance for trial purposes. My money is held hostage in and ı cant use it now.They are saying the account is not active and they say I have to pay €575 to activate it and they will cut it 575€ for use this basic account(ı have never seen something like that)Its completely fraud system.I want to close the account but they want €250. It's a complete fraud. Stay away and file a lawsuit for them.

Worst for SWIFT payments

We had a business account for around a year. I'll write the review with no biasing.

Good Things:
1. Interface is simple. Easy to use banking application.
2. SEPA payments services are good
3. Customer support is good in terms of promptness in responding, but they sound helpless

Bad things:
1. Opening an account is a lengthy process.
2. It's expensive in it charges (even opening fee)
3. SWIFT payments services are worse. They payment can get delayed by 3 weeks. Lethal for any business.
4. Monthly maintenance charges is on higher side.

Choose this bank only if you have SEPA payments to make. Not at all good for SWIFT.

Opening an account is a disaster. Another paranoid bank that tells its customers that everyone is a criminal. Institutions like these are completely insane. They finally tell you that these are the regulations, which is simply a lie. I have the regulations for opening accounts for bank institutions in writing, anyone can see them. This is all about collecting data and spying on bank customers. Money laundering is so minimal through online banks like Satchel.eu, nearly 0% so that they can immediately see it in the money movements after the account is opened. It's all a lie. There is no money laundering in the banking sector in Europe.

These are simple, useless, primitive bank employees who watch something on TV and then, paranoid in their shitty offices, make up stories with their shitty colleagues.

Warning to Business Owners – Avoid SatchelPay at All Costs

I deeply regret choosing SatchelPay, UAB as a financial service provider for my company in Lithuania. Despite presenting themselves as a regulated EMI, their actions (or lack thereof) tell a completely different story.

After making a €2,057 payment from my SatchelPay business account to another SatchelPay client (IBAN-to-IBAN transaction) for official accounting services, the recipient refused to deliver the agreed services and rejected my refund request. I immediately contacted SatchelPay, expecting basic client protection or internal resolution — especially since both accounts are held under the same institution.

Shockingly, SatchelPay refused to freeze or investigate the recipient's account, citing that their role is limited to “executing transactions” and they cannot interfere in civil disputes. Even though I provided full evidence of fraud and contract breach, they chose to hide behind vague legal disclaimers instead of protecting their customer.

To make matters worse:

Their customer service response was slow and generic

They accept no responsibility even when both parties are clients of their own platform

They left me to pursue legal action abroad as a foreign entrepreneur, knowing full well how difficult that is

This platform offers no buyer protection, no refund process, and no meaningful dispute resolution — a huge red flag for any legitimate business.

Conclusion:
SatchelPay is not a safe solution for businesses, especially international clients. Their EMI license gives a false sense of security, but once money is sent, you're on your own — even if fraud or non-delivery occurs. Be warned before trusting them with your funds or your business.

Business funds frozen with no resolution — unacceptable delays

I have been a SatchelPay client, and on April 4, 2024, my business account was temporarily blocked after a payment was cancelled due to a vague “compliance reason.”

I immediately submitted all requested documents, including the invoice and agreement. Despite multiple follow-ups and even filing a formal complaint to the Bank of Lithuania, I have still received no proper update or timeframe.

My funds (around €12,400) are frozen on the account. I cannot access them, withdraw, or complete the payment. Support continues to respond with generic phrases like “we have escalated your request,” with no progress.

This delay is disrupting my business and damaging key partnerships. Satchel’s compliance process lacks transparency, and their communication is far below industry standards.

I will update this review depending on how (and if) this case is resolved.

Mega scammers.

Mega scammers.

I opened an account with them, and deposited 25 Euros as a test. I left it for a few months, and then couldn't access my account anymore, even though I'm organized, and I have a password manager and never lost a password or 2FA code every. It just says that the 2FA is wrong.

I tried to contact support, they never helped. Then they closed my account and snatched my money, claiming it's "fees", even though the account was supposed to be free.

Stay away!

Edit: You see kids? We learn from their response that it's my fault that I didn't read their documentation. Silly me! They changed their fee structure, and it's my fault after their crappy system didn't even let me access my account. Stay away from these scammers!

It is an expensive but dodgy bank. I paid thousands to open an account and now every time I need to fund the account I have to contact them to find the payment! Their account does not have the basic functionality of a bank in 2024! Support is none existence and they do not reply to complaints.
Avoid them as they are really a scam.

Stay away from Satchel it's a SCAM!

Stay away from Satchel it's definitely a Scam!
Unfortunately I had to experience money scammed out of my new company that I worked so hard to build which put me in a great financial distress!!

I opened an account and got one transfer in of 5,000 Euros. I tried to use the account and pay out but it never worked. I tried going to support to ask for help but they just kept repeating the same questions that I answered already and said they are resetting the 2FA which will fix it.

I tried to verify and activate 2FA after reset for 3 times and it never worked.
When I asked them to close the account and send me my company's funds they said they will not do it and only I can make the transfer online. But the problem is the online banking never works! I contacted them in over 20 emails over 4 months and still they don't give me back my funds. And in all of this time they keep charging me monthly fees.
It probably don't work when I try to pay on purpose because they didn't fix it and they get to keep the money.
SCAM!!!

They want 1075 € for opening fee for a non EU business account.

This information is very misleading and hidden on the website.

When signing up, one assumes that it is only 50 euros per month.

However, that is not the case.

From 20,000 euros, they want 0.1 euros per 1,000 euros per day.

Expensive fees for everything.

Even to close the account, they want 250 euros.

I find it very questionable.

No recommendation.

Unwillingness to deal professionally with issues at hand

When I contacted the bank re the bad reviews on this site and asked for an explanation, they refused to elaborate in any way, shape or form on the issues being touched on in the reviews on this site. The problem is, if there is any substance to these claims of fraudulent business practices, then this is a case for the Attorney General. Handling clients accounts is the key competence of any bank. If funds just disappear, or unreasonable fees are being charged, this may lead to the withdrawal of the bank licence.
