I GIVE UP with Santander

I GIVE UP with Santander. My on line mobile app not working. Keep getting 2/2 letters as something happened to previous on line order. Said transaction failed! Rang so many times. Kaput. I am house bound what am I supposed to do? Can't use Amazon or on line shopping. Diabolical service!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY THEY THINK THEY ARE A LAW TO THEMSELVES. Asked for a settlement figure got it and paid it then got the letter to confirm they had no further interest in the vehicle and that it was settled. About a month later they sent me a letter to say I owed them £220.00 which has been disputed OBVIOUSLY as they themselves said everything was up to date this then grew to £453.00 and they put a default against me on my credit report on an agreement which is no longer live substantially damaging my credit and costing me money. When you call them they give you the run-around and keep cutting you off they are disgusting. I have written to the Ombudsman Dont do business with them they are a joke with absolutely no regard for customers.
I will be complaining to Trading Standards and the FCA in due course and will be taking legal action.

Quick and beyond professional
It's the third time I call and my experience is just amazing.
I want to thank the lady that was in today she was absolutely amazing, not only she helped me very professionally but really brightened my day with her kindness and good mood.
I don't think I've ever given a 5 star review

Unacceptable services

Unbelievable- my online account was blocked by Santander I rang their help line (which I have to pay for) I was told that a Payment I have made "a transfer" needed to be reviewed by their fraud dept. I was told this would be resolved within 48 Hours, and my account would be unblocked, after 48 hours my account was still blocked. I rang again and was told it would soon be resolved, 96 hours later I rang again and have been told that it will not now be sorted until next week at the earliest. nine days unable to use my own money. The transfer was to myself I simply do not understand why it has taken so long. I have been on the phone for a total of nearly 2 hours all at my cost. All the time being fobbed off by the consumer services dept

Volvo 4 year lease

Volvo 4 year lease, all well, helpful during lockdown but fell apart when at return car process. Did everything by email to ensure record of what id been told. Will skip a number of lesser examples of poor communication but final one to return car, received email to remove private plate and enter process including early return fees. Did all that, rang to ask for collection date to be told that email sent by them was not correct and that employee had given wrong information. Id based my financial calculations on their information and ordered a new car. Their view is that its my problem they misinformed me and that their employee would be retrained. This will cost me an extra £1000! How was i to know their employee would misinform me? No interest in conversation, my problem! Avoid santander/volvo finance, their written word is worthless.

Joke of a company insurance company sent them money for car 19th Jan yet still not gone on account many phone calls just hear them did prove off payment even when I've sent them insurance company sent many proof and they still say need proof of payment. If I could give them zero stars I would

I would give this bank a 0 rating if…

I would give this bank a 0 rating if possible... Money keep disappearing from my account and doesn't say where it's gone and when I went into the bank about it they didn't bother helping . Every week money is disappearing weather it's 50p -£££s it's going missing . Worst bank I've ever been with never had as many problems like this with any other banks . I'll be changing banks today as had enough of Santander stealing my money.

Please don't keep nagging

While I am usually pleased with Santander, I am getting fed up with the nagging nature of emails asking me why I haven't signed up to various things requiring a Smartphone. I don't have a Smartphone, and am quite happy with dealing with online banking and visiting the local branch

I was extremely disappointed with the…

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from the Llandudno branch, yesterday. I wanted information about a statement I had received regarding a share account, which I couldn’t find online. I had the statement with me, which had my address on and I also had my online access ID info, along with varying cards with my name on, however I was told that I couldn’t be helped without formal ID (ie a driving licence or passport). I will add that within the previous hour I had visited both NatWest and Nationwide, both of whom were more than happy with the similar information I was providing. Obviously i do realise that security is vital to protect customers accounts, mine included, but I wasn’t wanting to withdraw any money, I literally just had a query that I thought the assistant could answer for me but she said I would have to ring the share account line as she wouldn’t be able to help me anyway. When asked if there was anyone else in the branch I could perhaps sit down with to discuss my problem, I was told no and finally I was given the phone number of the share line.
Following this experience I will ring the share line, however I will now be considering closing my account with Santander.

awful awful company !!!!!!!!!!They are making me pay for a car which isn't mine and has been sold fraudulently.Constantly sending letters and adding money onto the debt which is not mine! They have made my mental health really bad and have caused me to have a mental breakdown.they dont listen , they dont show empathy , all they want is money money money ! disgusting company! complaining to financial ombusman as we speak .

Adam - Customer Service / Online Banking

Spoke with Adam via customer service for online banking (0330 123 0209) at 12:48-12:58 today. Adam went through security with me to ensure compliance, which is very reassuring. Adam was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to speak with. As a business, Santander to date have never let me down. I appreciate their service and the work of individual teams/employees that make Santander a fantastic organisation. I asked Adam if I would receive a text so I could rate the service today. Unfortunately this function is not available post call, therefore I have left a review here. Thank you Adam and Santander, keep up the fantastic work and all the best for New Year.

Excellent Customer service

I am currently researching a new lease deal and subsequently wanted to compare the reviews made against my current leasing company Santander. I was surprised to see the low satisfaction scores given that the customer care I have experienced was excellent. I was seeking to extend my contract as I had not met the contracted number of miles. This was arranged through very good communications, speedy exchange of relevant documents; so no complaints from me.

Absolute disgrace of a company.

Absolute disgrace of a company.
If you ever want to pay or thinking of paying your finance off early do not use this company. I offered to pay £6500 and they offed a settlement fee with £100 knocked off. All that interest that has been added over the years reaming and they offer £100 discount in a recession. Santander you are a disgrace

We had financed a vehicle through them…

We had financed a vehicle through them early 2019. We had been in contact with them numerous times because we could no longer afford the car payment. Fast forword to October 2019 they give us a call letting us know that a tow truck would be there by the morning to collect the vehicle. Well the next day come and then the next and they just keep coming. Never had a repo on my credit never have a letter come through the mail stating anything other then please contact us. After October of 2019 we would get phone calls with no one on the other side. The second we would answer they would hang up. Anytime we contacted them about the loan or the truck they knew nothing. BY THIS TIME (October 2019) our account was closed through Santander. Well fast forward again to November 2022. They have finally decided to pick up the truck almost 2.5 years later. Sucks joke of a company.

Loyalty

I have been a customer with both carfinko and now the new company.I have no fault of my own missed payments, which I take full responsibility for,I have tried and kept them in complete communication with,and yes they have worked with me.I’m now back at work full time and have offered to catch fully up. They now want to take the vehicle back.I owe $900,that’s it.I now get treated like I owe the total GDP of Canada.all I was asking was to work with them to stop this,falls on deaf ears.Yes it’s a business but what dose loyalty mean.

Worst company I have ever dealt with

Worst company I have ever dealt with, webchat not working, automatic online settlement generator not working, two hour waiting time to speak to someone, all this to pay the company back. Lets all take days off work to be able to speak to Santander consumer finance.

Absolutely diabolical service when i say service there isn't any at all I've been trying for a week to pay off my car finance still not spoke to anyone on phone now from 9am and its 09:50am im fuming I'm having to waste hours of my time to these. No chat available as you just wait on that to . Never ever again you morons.

V5 log book not forthcoming

I paid the final balance of finance for my car on 13/9 and had a letter confirming this. Despite numerous phone calls, emails, Chat room black hole of robotic answers, I still have no clue when I will receive my V5 log book. I am not minded to pay £25 to DVLA for a new one, I am no man’s land.
