Sambanis.Art - Custom oil portrait from photo Anmeldelser

Alex painted a beautiful, high quality portrait from an old black and white photograph. He kept me updated on every step of the process and answered all of my questions along the way. Alex is a wonderful artist and I will definitely be commissioning more from his company.

Alex did a beautiful job and very clear communication! My friend was so happy with the painting and loved it. He is extremely talented!

Alex is a consummate professional. Despite my numerous revisions, he remained meticulous and enthusiastic throughout the project, incorporating my changes with a smile. His dedication to delivering an exceptional final product truly impressed me.

I absolutely loved working with Alex! He had great communication and very responsive. He took my vague idea and made it concrete and absolutely beautiful! He didn’t miss a single detail and was very flexible with my 500 request and changes. The final product was exceptional and I can’t wait to gift it to my family.

Alex made what I envisioned come to life. Great communication. Great painting. I’m already planning the next project I will send his way.

I reached out to Alex bc of his sterling reviews and beautiful portrait samples. He was incredible communicative and supportive as we selected a photo he would wait. I could not be more thrilled with his piece! If you are considering a portrait look no farther!

Everything was excellent. Alex created our picture from various images and worked to get the bodies just perfect. Everything was easy and it looks amazing-a timeless family picture.

I found Sambanis Art on Etsy after looking at several other painters. I went with Sambinas Art because of the quick responses and the detail put into their artwork. I purchased a painting of my late father-in-law as a surprise to my partner and his mother. We received it a few days ago and they were blown away by the detail. They felt as if they could talk to him and he would talk back. Thank you for creating an amazing painting we will cherish forever!

Alex and Kate are absolutely amazing! I have never seen such talent in my life and it takes alot to make me speechless and to impress me! I was beyond speechless and impressed. My painting is of my dogs and it’s hanging above my fireplace. I would definitely get another painting done by them. Kate and Alex always get back to you within the next day with your questions.
I highly recommend them!

I ordered paint nearly 3 month ago. I payed 475 $ and still didn't get paint.
Alex didn't know how to fill properly invoice, because paint was going to EU country.
He is not interested in to find reason why paint wasn't delivered.
I spent about 100$ for phone call to find where the paint is.
I'm disappointed. And BTW- paint was order for very special occasion. Try imagine how devasted I'm and how devasted is receiver.
Alex completely don't bother about it.

Alex is an incredible artist. Since the beginning, he's been patient and attentive to details, and listens to all your requests and concerns. I had commissioned him to paint a painting from an old photo of my boyfriend as a baby and his late mother. The final product was truly amazing and when I gifted it to my partner for his birthday, he was speechless. I would definitely work with Alex again in the future for any other painting commissions.

Alex is an amazing artist, and was wonderful to work with. He's incredibly thorough and communicative, giving me updates throughout the entire process. I would work with him again in a heartbeat and fully recommend you do the same!

Aleksandr hat uns während des gesamten Prozesses auf dem Laufenden gehalten, auf Änderungswünsche wurde direkt eingegangen. Das Ergebnis war toll!
Das Portrait wurde super eingepackt versandt.

I couldn't be more happy with the project Alex completed for me this summer. He produced an oil painting of my great-grandmother from a pencil sketch that was made of her more than 100 years ago. The process was very simple and Alex closely coordinated with me to show me intermediate progress allowing me to make any comments along the way. It came out perfect and I'm sure that it will be a family heirloom that is passed down for another 100 years.

After seeing Sambanis.Art work on Etsy, I knew I wanted to ask them to do a portrait of my son. Alex went above and beyond accommodating all my requests to make changes to the photo I sent for the portrait and kept me posted about the entire process. He sent me regular pictures and updates as he was working on the portrait. The result was absolutely incredible! The portrait was stunning. It was much more than an excellent craftsmanship. Alex managed to capture the very soul of my little boy. I now have an amazing work of art that my family will treasure for years to come. I have since ordered the portrait of my older son as well and i have no doubt I will be back for more. I highly recommend Sambanis.Art to anyone who is thinking about commissioning a portrait of their loved ones. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m so glad I chose SambanisArt to do my painting! I only had a couple reference photos and an idea of how I would like the painting to look rather than an actual photo for him to recreate, so Alex really went above and beyond in order to bring that vision I had in mind to life. Throughout the entire process, he was incredibly patient and professional, always checking in and giving me updates on how things were going. Moreover, the painting was finished and shipped to me in a timely manner, and I could truly tell he put so much love and care into it. I honestly couldn’t be happier!

I found Aleksandr through Etsy. I was looking for an artist to do a real oil painting of my father for Christmas. So many artists these days work through digital mediums, and so I was pleasantly surprised to find Aleksandr. The multiple five star reviews speak for themselves. Aleksandr is a consummate professional, who sent me photos of his process, and was always willing to entertain my suggestions (though I didn’t have many, and was willing to trust in his expertise). The end result was phenomenal. I can’t recommend him and his work enough. If I ever need another oil-based portrait, I know who I’ll be contacting.

Aleksandr was amazing throughout the process; he was extremely helpful and communicative! Now about the painting…wow! The painting exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be getting another done!!!

I found Alex on Etsy while looking for a wedding anniversary gift for my in-law’s 50th. I messaged with a couple different artists first who all claimed to do oil paintings from photos. All of them revealed after many questions that they didn’t actually paint but made digital “paintings” in photoshop. Some claimed they had artists in Ukraine paint them but they were only able to send me a computer scan of the painting. No proof of the actual painting done with paint. I was so disappointed. Then I found Sambanis Art.
Alex is AMAZING. His customer service is so diligent and professional. He followed up every time I missed an email (which was a few times, I was on vacation) and made sure I was happy and on board for every step of the way. He created the most beautiful piece of art from an old family photo. My in-laws were so taken with this gift. There were many tears. I couldn’t recommend him MORE HIGHLY! A true master of his art as well as an incredible man to work with. He is also working under terribly sad conditions, in a home country consumed by unjust war in his people. Know that a portion of the profits from your painting are donated directly to the Ukrainian forces fighting the war against Russia. Thank you Alex for everything you do. Your work will forever be with our family. We send our love to you and yours.

A friend had recommended Aleksandr’s work and we are delighted he did! It was the ideal gift for my in-laws 80th birthdays and wedding anniversary. One of the most remarkable elements was that he was able to restore an old photograph from Marin in the 70’s with incredible depth and exquisite detail. The painting will be treasured for generations and was a highlight of our celebration with the family this weekend.

Our heartfelt thanks for your patience and attention to detail while you and your family are dealing with such a humanitarian crisis. Our hearts are with you.
