Extremely disappointing.

I paid around $50 for a travel-size perfume that smells NOTHING like the vanilla and coconut fragrance described on the website. I specifically bought the travel size to test it, only to be told I should have purchased a sample first.

So apparently the solution is to spend even more money and pay shipping for a sample after already spending $50 on the travel size.

The website also has no customer reviews, making it difficult to know what you’re actually buying. The customer service response was just as disappointing.

Save your money and go to Mecca instead — at least you can actually sample fragrances and have a much better return policy.

I certainly won’t be purchasing from here again.

I paid a $25 premium for StarTrack Express delivery. The order did not arrive in anything resembling the timeframe advertised (and still has not arrived 5 days later).W hen I raised it I was told by "Jason" that delivery times are a "guide only" and not something Saison takes responsibility for.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, paying for an express service is a supply of services that carries consumer guarantees, including delivery within a reasonable time. A "guide only" disclaimer on a website does not override those guarantees.

I have asked for the $25 refunded and the goods delivered. If that is not resolved appropriately, I will be taking it further with Consumer Affairs Victoria.

Reading the other reviews here, I can see others have had issues with this business. I recommend that you buy elsewhere.

My husband ordered 60mls of Fragonard by Fragonard perfume from Saison Melbourne as my Christmas gift 2025. I have been wearing this perfume since Year 2000 when I visited the Fragonard Perfumery in the South of France. For 25 years I have worn this perfume and I know it well. I have some left from the bottle ai received in 2024.
The bottle I received from Saison this Christmas is MOST DEFINITELY NOT Fragonard by Fragonard fragrance, despite the bottle and packaging stating it is. The contents of the bottle I received are very different from the real Fragonard fragrance I have come to know. In fact find the fragrance I received to be more like tobacco in scent.
I have contacted Saison who have said the packaging is correct and the contents are correct. This is not the case. So far, saison has made no effort to rectify this error and obviously do not believe me. I have last year’s bottle and this year’s. They are NOT the same. Very disappointing and a similar situation to the review by Ciele below.

I have been buying from saison for many years now, a friend recommended them for candies , I was hooked . I have been buying the VOLUSPA Goji Tarocco Orange 100hr candies for years it smells beautiful. The candles last forever and smell amazing.I will always buy from
Saison , a lot of other candies don’t compare with saison s candies . Highly recommended.

Bought a hand cream when I squeezed it I found a hair inside. Contact them by email but no response . Check my email and spam but none are from saison

I read a review referring to their service as landfill dressed up as luxury and that sums it up perfectly. I ordered the redecker range of hanging wood and storage wood thinking I would be getting natural wood scent product. I received offcuts dipped in a fouls smelling chemical and it wasn't cheap. I wrote to them requesting a refund, (product not as advertised). A character called Jason Duke wrote back,'We don't take items back for change of mind'. I wrote again. No response. So, now I review. We've all seen this kind of advertising with the Chinese retailers flogging off rubbish and this company is no different. Save your money and your time.

Poor customer service and refuses to remedy a Frasier Fir Candle I had an issue with. Does not understand or comply with Australian Consumer Law. Purchased the candle and the scent and throw was not as described- crispy pine smell with woody notes of cedar wood and sandalwood. Rather, it smelled like dried urine. I’ve worked in fragrance before so know what it should smell like. Emailed and asked for a refund. The response? They checked their stock and all was fine, “thanks for the feedback.” This was from the owner of the company. I was requesting a remedy we could mutually agree upon. Sent an email back and crickets since. Will be complaining to consumer watchdog. Very poor form for a company which likes to market itself as high end. No offer of refund or anything. Steer clear.
EDIT: Following the company’s reply below, I’ll make it clear it was not simply a change of mind. Others in my household have commented on the scent and agreed it’s not as described. The company’s refusal to accept this speaks volumes. Note there have been dissatisfied customers.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! I recently bought a perfume by Fragonard from Saison which was $110 for 30ml. When I received it, it was not the right perfume. I had recently bought the real one overseas from the real Fragonard store, this one smelt COMPLETELY different. The perfume bottle was also unlabelled, and they slapped the name ‘Estagon’ on it, when I asked what this was they said it was the bottle type but there is nothing on google that explains what Estagon is. I requested a refund and would send back the product as it is either the incorrect perfume or they are false advertising off another brand and they refused to give me one. They also refused to even exchange it.
