This is not a rant against Sailing…
This is not a rant against Sailing Chandlery - their service is excellent - BUT - they are constrained by their suppliers. How come I can buy a size 3XL Rooster Aquafleece spray top chest size 126-130cm (very nice BTW) and yet not be able to buy a Buoyancy Aid to fit over it ??? Gill's 2XL should fit as its specified as chest size 125-135cm chest, same as the Aquafleece 3XL, but it doesn't (it actually measures 120cm and that's far too small). Rooster themselves only offer one style of Buoyancy aid in 3XL (that's their largest size, but Sailing Chandlery doesn't stock it anyway) but that is specified as chest 116-121 which doesn't match the sizing on their other gear... It's crazy that you can buy one size item but not another very necessary item in the same size..

Thank you also for your comment about our service being excellent, this is essentially a review of our service in this Trustpilot review and I feel the 3 star review doesn't reflect our teams effort.
With that in mind I would appreciate it if you could adjust the review to be accurate please showcasing the excellent service you said you receive.
We will provide your feedback to both Gill and Rooster who we work very closely with. We are also always happy to source products in for our customers, we order very often from our suppliers so its usually a case of only waiting a couple of days for a different size or style product. We would not recommend sharing your personal details through Trustpilot, we suggest you edit the review and remove them.
The team have looked into the parcel not being delivered today and have discovered that you missed your house number off when placing the order.
When sending the order confirmation to customers we do ask that you double check your address and explain that we can't do much once the parcel has left.
The parcel is due to come back to us soon, as soon as it does we will be in touch to arrange delivery again to the correct address.
I hope you agree that our team processed your order in our usual speedy way and sent your order in good faith to the address provided. I don't believe we provided a 1 star service to you and would appreciate it if you could reconsider your rating of Sailing Chandlery.

Sailing chandlery is great!
I love dealing with sailing chandlery. I have been ordering quite a lot of stuff of late and their prices and delivery are excellent. I found another product at a slightly better price on another website and didn’t use sailing chandlery, but you get what you pay for and the other website was rubbish, the product although in stock was massively delayed and in the time it took me to cancel that order and recieve acknowledgement, sailing chandlery had the new one in the post and on its way. On another occasion DHL messed up and never turned up to the wharehouse to collect my Spar that I had ordered but I had an email the same day to tell me the craic and that they were chasing DHL for an explanation. It only arrived a day or so later which is not bad, especially considering that I live as far north as you can get on mainland UK (679 miles from the warehouse) They use Royal Mail for smaller stuff and if I order on Monday morning I can have bits through the letter box on Tuesday which is superb.
TLDR use sailing chandlery, they are excellent
