Good leadership. Let the participants have sufficient freedom to enjoy other time without feeling overly managed.

Kept parents guardians up-to-date on any problems or issues

My daughter loved her Thailand experience! She really liked the two ladies who accompanied the group. She found the whole experience to be excellent!

Thorough communication from staff before the trip, and helped us navigate flight cancelation and rescheduling our session. One of a kind experience with perfect balance of education, service, and recreation. This was the first of what will be many Rustic trips.

Rustic Pathways: Outstanding
Both of our daughters traveled to Spain with Rustic Pathways this summer. They had never traveled to another country before on their own or flown internationally on their own. They are experienced travelers, but they were still solo. While their flight was delayed for many hours after the group landed, their group leader greeted them as if nothing had changed. The accommodations, daily programming, leaders and service were exactly what we had hoped for. Our girls served, practiced their Spanish, met new friends, fell in love with a new country and felt safe the entire time. They loved their time and could have stayed longer. The communication from Rustic Pathways and staff leadership was excellent. We highly recommend Rustic Pathways.

My son loved his trip with Rustic Pathways! He said his leaders were amazing and so were the activities. He enjoyed the adventure and the service activities. He can’t wait to go to another one!

This trip was the best I had ever experienced in my life. I am not kidding when I tell you I can’t recommend this enough.

I have made lifelong friends that I still keep in touch with and plan on going on vacations with each other in the near and far future.

I personally want to thank the adults that worked on week 1 of the Tokyo to Seoul trip.
You guys were awesome and made this trip so special for me.

Small group size was great! Also appreciated how easy it was to navigate through the process of booking. It felt very safe and the chaperones were great. Overall the experience was amazing and included the perfect amount of learning, activities and down time. Highly recommend.

Yeva had a brilliant time and would love to go Peru!

Our daughter had the most amazing time in Japan and South Korea!

Our daughter a great experience with the program!

This was an amazing experience for my son who participated on the Japan/Korea trip. I felt confident that the trip was structured so well, the chaperones were both sufficient and terrific, and the group size was really nice. He gained so much cultural perspective, confidence, and a group of wonderful friends with whom he met for the first time on this adventure. Lots of daily pictures that were easy to access through the platform and, had we had any issues, I felt confident they would be addressed. All-in-all a fabulous experience.

Rustic Pathways made me feel 100% comfortable with sending my child abroad. They went above and beyond in helping us with logistics and answering any questions we had. They responded quickly to emails and had great communication throughout the trip. I can't recommend Rustic Pathways enough!

My daughter had a wonderful experience.

The rustic pathways staff was soooo nice I miss p chet and p sara soo much and also inikaa. The activities were sooo fun especially the night market. We all cried when we left.

The company made everything very fun, even though we don’t have a lot of time each day.

During the week of being in Ulaanbaatar, Rustic Pathways has shown me the many sides of Mongolia, including traditional and modern food and even experience what nomadic Mongolians live like in gers. In addition, the program leaders gave very clear instructions and they are friendly and talkative! What I enjoyed the most was visiting breathtaking view spots, such as the Zaisan Monument and thd Genghis Khan statue, as well as playing with ankle bone games and with friends during downtime. 100% would recommend!

Inika was very funny and nice which made me happy

As the parent, we were well informed, sent photos, and emails about arrivals and daily experiences. The program was well thought out and it was a great mix of culture, service hours and fun.
