I took the RunTrue course hosted by Nigel and it’s made a huge difference to my running. I'd been wearing orthotics for nearly 10 years for road running but was increasingly frustrated that I had no issues running off-road but needed orthotics as soon as I got back on the road to relieve foot and heel pain. Since starting Nigel's course, I haven't worn my orthotics and after a couple of months of doing the exercises, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my foot strength. I'm now doing all my road running orthotic-free and even did a road half marathon without them with no follow-up issues, which felt like huge progress. The course also provides a really useful set of full-body strength and mobility exercises that easily fit into a weekly strength session, and I’ve definitely noticed how much stronger I feel since starting. The online materials are excellent; they reinforce the live sessions and can be revisited at any time, which has really helped with consistency and confidence. Overall, a great course that has delivered real, lasting results for me.

How wrong I was! I signed up after seeing an advert on FB as generally nothing to do on a Monday evening and it seemed incredibly cheap, nothing to lose!
The course was so informative and practical. Really helped by those excellent recap videos to remind myself what the exercises are. I wish I had done this course as soon as I started running but despite being in my 60s I am still able to adapt and get stronger. Nigel has an answer for all queries and I especially took on board his "Feet" work which has helped relieve pains I was experiencing previously. The sessions are delivered with lots of individual support and participants all friendly. Thoroughly recommend this course to all levels of runners. Loads to learn!

I was new to running and started having issues around my lower leg every time I ran. Since doing these correction exercises I have ran many races with no issues around that area.
As a follow on I was recommended to do the 6 Week Run True course, which is designed prevent injury or rehabilitate the runners’ body to it works as it needs to when you run. The course did just that! I learnt a lot more techniques and some strength, mobility and balance exercises which I have added into my weekly training routine.
I highly recommend Nigel & Run True.

The course was excellent and hard work i must say, nigel is an expert in his field but as he says practice is the main thing with becoming a good runner, although i only restarted running in october after many years of not due to illness,s and work commitments this course made me realise I was doing so many things wrong, I have now applied a few techniques from the course and i am running and improving better than any time for years, definately recommed.( nb.be prepared to work hard, a lot to cram in 6 weeks, so its an ongoing process)

I had been told by friend my running form needed work, but trying to correct it myself was futile. I enrolled on Nigel's 6-week, in person, RunTrue Course - am I very pleased I did. We started slowly (!) with exercises most of us could just about manage, but over the 6 weeks Nigel layered the complexity. There were very helpful on line resources, the videos were excellent. Over time, most routines were manageable, but the practise is essential! It was good to have an explanation for the exercises we were doing. Most importantly, they all integrated into an improved running form! I just need to practise now and not slip back into old habits!
I thoroughly recommend the course.
For months I had suffered pain in my calf whilst running, even having to stop during a park run. I had a consultation with Nigel which was extremely thorough. At the end of the consultation Nigel gave me a series of exercises to do. Some of these are quite simple and can be done whilst going about your daily business. I have been very disciplined doing these with a very positive result. Over the past three weeks I have done a couple of races and a few park runs and not experienced any pain since. I would highly recommended Nigel and I’m very grateful that I can now enjoy my running again.
This 6 week course has been helpful for my running and general strength.
Nigel explains everything clearly. It's not just about what to do, but also why each exercise helps improve an aspect of our running.
I would highly recommend it whether a seasoned runner or a novice.

Did a 6-week running technique course with runtrue and found the course very helpful - my flexibility and strength for running have improved. Time will tell (!!) but I feel I'm a more confident runner as a result of the course.

As an older runner I was more interested in preventing injury than anything else.
I had been suffering from sore knees for months prior to the course. Due to following the excellent exercises and the online videos, it has made such a difference to my life.
I now no longer have pain in my knees and feel that I am running more naturally.
Thank you so much Nigel, I couldn’t have asked for any more.

Started this course with some trepidation BUT, it was so much more than I expected! I have learnt so much, and having access to the online course each week, has and will help me to go forward. Cannot recommend this course enough!

I throughly enjoyed the 6 week mobility course. I joined a friendly group and Nigel was very informative and knowledgeable. The course is really interesting and challenging. I would definitely attend the course again in the future mostly because I found the sessions very beneficial. I aim to continue to work on the running exercises to improve and enhance my running and also the mobility work and drills were I can do.

I really enjoyed this course. Over the weeks we learnt strength and conditioning and mobility drills that have already made a difference to my running. Breaking down the act of running and thinking about how everything is connected has allowed me to physically improve my running but also mentally. Now from having that understanding how to “run better”has increased my running distance but most importantly made me enjoy it more.
When I first started this course I was recovering from an injury and worried about not making progress. I am now running pain free with confidence! Would highly recommended it

This course is really well structured, building up the mobility and strength exercises every week with the aim of making you a better runner. I feel like I’ve learnt how to run and feel much more powerful. Highly recommended for any runner of any ability.

A great course to firstly help you develop strength and mobility skills. Secondly it makes/enables you to think about running form and the connection between the skills/exercises you are taught and real life running.

Brilliant course which has really changed how I feel running. I've run for years and as my distances increased had become increasingly stiff. the course has made me feel more fluid again. I was phased at first by the no stretch concept, but the mobility work is making perfect sense

I attended the course in April. I wanted to improve my running gait/style which in turn would hopefully lead to better and more efficient running and prevention of injuries. Nigel teaches you exercises in all areas of running which include foot function, movement, strength and balance. Each week you are shown various exercises in all of these areas which eventually lead to complete movements by the end of the course. You then take away these movements and utilise them at home and during your runs. I can only say that I have definitely noticed a change in my running and have definitely improved running uphill using stumps! A great course for any ability of runner.

I attended Nigel's 6 week in person Run True course. I found it really helpful and I am now doing the exercises to help with my marathon training. The first couple of weeks don't make complete sense but then it all comes together at the end so stick with it! Nigel is very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about running so it's a wealth of knowledge to tap into. It's early days yet for me doing the exercises but they make sense as a runner and are helping my mobility.

A really interesting course that I would recommend to any runner irrespective of speed or experience.
I learnt a lot about running form and foot function that I did not know, and I believe that I now have the tools to make myself a stronger and better runner as a result. I like the fact that you continue to have access to the online platform following the end of the course as I know for me that it will take a long time to embed what I have learnt.
