The furniture looks great. And great value too

It took me about 45 minutes to put the table together. Maybe it’s me but a little more detailed set of instructions would have been helpful

Ordering was straightforward, delivery was quick although there was some confusion with delivery over Easter weekend but that was quickly resolved by a telephone call. I am extremely pleased with the mini hardwood greenhouse. Easy to assemble and it seems very sturdy.

Recently received & assembled a Mini Green House.
Arrived in very good time & was straightforward to assemble.
Looking really well made & should serve its purpose ideally.

Ordered a Rowlinson Premier Range 10ft x 8ft Wooden Apex Garden Shed via Robert Dyas in October 2024. After only 18 months the shiplap cladding is starting to split. Not good quality.

I was impressed with the speed of delivery. Ordered on the 12, arrived early morning of the 13th, was put up in my garden on the 14th of Feb. The quality of the Arbor 'Kashmir' is very good. All the screws and instructions were included and made assembly easy. Good value, good quality, fair price.

Great price and prompt delivery. Easy to assemble and made of very good quality timber. It's the second one we have had and no problems with the first one which is six years old.

I ordered the Vienna Sofa set which included the glass top coffee table. I also ordered a protection cover on 22nd January 2026 Order delivered on 26th January 2026. . The delivery was first class informed each stage of time of delivery. The sofa set was even better than I expected with lovely thick cushions. The main reason for picking this set was because it has an aluminium frame which last so much longer than a steel frame. The customer service was first class as I wanted to know which protection cover fitted this model. No waiting for phone to be answered and information given straight away. I have ordered quite a few pieces of garden furniture direct from them and all still in good condition. As for price the best on market as some quoted over a £1000

I purchased the Large Log Store (Code: LOGLRG1). Where the two roof pieces join in the middle rain comes in the middle. So despite it saying on the product listing - 'The Rowlinson large log store is perfect for making sure your logs and sticks stays dry and aired. ' and 'Keeps Logs Dry and Aired' it does not. I emailed for advice and the customer service agent Alex informed me that this log store would never keep logs dry! So false advertising and selling a product thats not fit for purpose. If i had known that this log store doesnt keep logs dry i never would have purchased it. Now i have over £200s worth of logs that were dried for over a year that are now wet and i cant use them. The customer service was shocking, no apology and just a horrible level of arrogance. I have been buying Rowlinson products for years, but this has seriously put me off buying anything from them again. Horrendous.

Avoid

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful. Bought a bench through B&Q but supplied by Rowlinsons. Bought in May, by October had lost lots of the stain. Reported it to B&Q who sent an email to Rowlinsons. Alex wrote back and said it should be treated every 12 months, it was 6 months old!! And that rain could affect the stain. When I explained it hadn’t been wet Linzi replied saying sun could also affect the stain. It was 6 months old!! Rung them and was lucky enough to speak to Linzi who told me it had lost its colour because we had been sitting on it!!!! Not a joke that’s what she said. Refused any other help. Joke of a company and customer service completely non existent, hope B&Q drop them as a supplier as soon as possible

Awful after sale service, I asked to move my delivery for 3 min up the road they said they will cancel the delivery. mind you this was for a shed needed urgently for a business.

Message to the management: if you aren't customer oriented and train your staff, and your delivery drivers to be nice to people after you take the money you will kill your chance to to get repeat customers.

We bought a garden room manufactured by Rowlinson Garden Products in late summer 2024, and when it came many of the components were damaged and several had black mould growth on them.
RGP did replace the parts but this took time and we were unable to erect the building until spring of this year.
The timber used in the panels was untreated, hence why we delayed election until good weather and we could paint and seal as required.
We have found that the building leaked badly from 3 of the 4 side panels. But not through the joints or from the construction method (it was built by a professional joiner) but through gaps in the panels themselves.
This was raised with RGP who claimed not to be able to see the water ingress in the pictures provided, refused to attend the building to investigate further and would also not provide any suggestions on how the leaks might be resolved. They also suggested the water was coming up through the floor even though the structure is built on an elevated frame and the water could be seen running down the walls.
I believe the structure was both badly designed and manufactured/handled since manufacture.
I have since had another company come and reroof the building including adding small gutters and larger overhangs to the roof to precent water running down the wall panels. We have also used a durable external sealant on the worst affected panels in the grooves of the tongue and groove construction and these actions have now resolved the leaks.
I cannot recommend Rowlinson Garden Products in any way.

We ordered a Rowlinson Premium Heritage 4 x 3 ft Apex Shed drom Gardensite ( order number 426144 on the 21/05/25
It was delivered promptly on the agreed date and we put it ip that weekend
one of the pieces off wood that was to the top to attach roof to was badly bowed like a banana
Other pre joined pieces that were held to together with large staples were not joined correctly, one split piece of timber and there was three holes in the body of the shed where knots had dropped out making the shed not waterproof
Overall the quality did not feel good for a premium product

Bought a Trentvale 10x8 Apex metal shed. Had my reservations about it from the start but thought it must be okay, I’ve seen a few around. Was I in for a shock! Ordered the “foundation” kit thinking that it would be a base or foundation! Not it a floor you don’t actually need because the shed has to go on its own flat floor. Either concrete or wooden. That’s fine but why put a floor on a floor and waste £150 on a few metal bars. Then there’s the quality! Screws with no threads. Holes and small holes with the dwelt tap screws go into the wrong way round. The larger holes are too large for the screws, any amount of force would pull the heads through. You can only put a screw in a hole once because then the thread doesn’t catch. Really poor materials and construction.

The shed itself is even worse. Made of bean can and with edges that will slice fingers or not carful, there’s no water proofing between the base and floor so expect water inside the shed when it rains. No gaskets when joining metal panels. And once again holes that are way too big for the nuts and bolts holding it together. The instructions shows washers but the kit doesn’t include them. All in all it’s a badly designed and put together shed and you’d be better off with a wooden on considering what these cost.
That’s said I’d probably go elsewhere where to find it as when I spoke to a lady at Rowlinsons she was quite arrogant and rude and basically implied that all these issue where my doing and I should open the box and see what the shed was like even though I wanted to return it.
These shares are a fraction of the cost on TEMU, they would be as clearing they are made in China. If you have to have one of these kits then I suggest you go there.
Finally for someone who hasn’t got my skill set or tooling it might be a struggle unless you want to just have any old shed thrown up in the garden. Being and engineer by trade I’ll corrrct all the issue with the badly designed shed but this is going to cost be time and more money getting the parts to secure this bean can correctly and so it doesn’t fill with water as soon as we have a bit of drizzle.

I was assured that delivery for a large, heavy item could be arranged for a day when I was at home. Despite making my availability clear, the delivery was scheduled for the exact day I said I would be away. Because delivery slots are given at very short notice, this caused significant inconvenience and required multiple communications to rearrange.

When I finally spoke to the delivery company, DB Freelance Ltd, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Today, when the item was finally delivered, they simply left it outside my property without ringing the doorbell or knocking—something I only discovered by checking my emails. Had I not done so promptly, the item could easily have been taken.

The package was extremely heavy, and moving it inside without assistance was both difficult and unsafe. When I contacted customer services to explain the situation, I was met with little sympathy. The representative said: “Well, it would have been very difficult for someone to steal it if it was so heavy.” I then ended that pointless conversation.

This level of service from both the delivery company and their customer service team was unacceptable. I will not be purchasing from them again and strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before ordering.

Brought 3 heavy duty trellis, 6x 3 ft through B&Q website,supplied by rowlinson garden products, came within 3 days, great job, nice early delivery ,kept me update with everything from a sms and emaiil, absolutely delighted with them ,yes a few rough splinters but these are great , quality sturdiness and look amazing iv used them around my hard top gazebo, to give it struture, so needed some more gone to rowlinson garden products own website, which is great easy to use and very well described products ,you get what you actually see in the product is what you get ,these trellis are very strong alot better then most , iv ordered another 4 to finish off the project ,rowlinson garden products will be my go to place now for garden related items

Unfortunately my garden arch had a few cracks in the wood when delivered but Rowlinson were very quick to send out replacement parts free of charge. The quality of the product was good - just unfortunate about the few cracks. Polite and incredibly quick customer service.

This review is not about the company rather a particular product which they sell through b and q Robert dyas garden street etc I ordered the arch top tongue and groove fence gate but the quality is so poor please do not buy online at least if you buy instore you can see what you are getting the gate I bought had expanded and the knots had fallen out leaving holes in the wood very disappointing

My wife bought the set because the price was reduced. The build quality is OK for something obviously mass produced. Although the set looks flimsy, it is actually very sturdy - I'm 17 stone and the chairs don't groan when I sit on them. The finish is adequate and has not washed off in the storms we have recently had. One of the cabin chairs - chair with arms at the side - was broken when it arrived.
My wife took photos and sent Rowlinsons an email. Within two days we had a replacement chair delivered. Very happy with their customer service.
