So I was in the market for an ELD
So I was in the market for an ELD as I am a small business owner/operator driver. Shopping round, talking to different suppliers I had finally decided to go with Route One for a few reasons. One, was I could get the hardware free if I paid for the first year which was on special and discounted. I also liked the fact that between calling, emailing and texting they were consistent and seemed very interested in my business! Things became very different after I made my purchase… no follow up calls asking if I got my hardware, did everything go ok hooking it up, nothing. I had issues with the app and getting the device linked up, so I tried calling the salesmen, left messages for him, texted him and 3 days later got a text w/a number for technical support and the message literally said if I had any future questions or problems not to contact him but to call technical support. Technical support for this company is a complete joke! After 20 frustrating minutes of getting nowhere I finally hung up, found some YouTube videos having solutions to the same issues I was having a got it taken care of. Knowing what I know now I wish I would have spent a little more money and went with another company. Once my year is up with this company I will never use them again and this year can’t go by fast enough! I’ve only written 3 reviews in my life, 2 were for unbelievable experiences and this is the first negative one if that says anything.
