Great portable spa!
We had some inflatable hot tubs before and choose Rotospa due to the good reviews and the fact is was a permanent spa that was still portable and also as it was round and would fit nicely in our garden.
I purchased via Sutton Spas. Bit of a wait due to covid but on delivery day the installation guys were brilliant. I’ve had a couple of small issues which the teams have resolved and it’s been getting constant use the last 7 or so weeks. Really great spa and great team behind it.
Do expect the shell of the spa to be unique. They are roto moulded and do have small lumps and pitted plastic in places and the floor rises when filed with water and heated. This is all just character of the spa. I have the Quattro spa and great size, features and love getting out there in the cold nights.

Well worth the upgrade.
For the last three years we have enjoyed an inflatable hot tub but decided in May to take the plunge and upgrade to the Duraspa S380 from RotoSpa we could use year-round.
Despite the unavoidable delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are thrilled with our new hot tub – and have used it almost daily.
We are pleased to have supported a UK business and manufacturing of a product during such challenging economic conditions.
The delivery and installation by Naz and Steve was perfect, just the right mix of being friendly and efficient. Josie also did a good job of keeping us updated with the progress of our order.
Well worth waiting for – thank you!

The instillation was very good and the man who came to do that couldn’t have been more helpful. The instructions that come with the roto spa are very sparse so I’m still not able to work out the timer. I’m disappointed with the overall experience of the spa, position of the jets however following my previous review this has been followed up by Roto Spa and I am getting it sorted.

When you purchased the RotoSpa during lockdown with the retailer, we were dealing with unprecedented circumstances and did come up against delivery difficulties resulting in delays. We are very sorry that this affected yourself.
We would very much want to restore your faith in our team at RotoSpa and would very much like to discuss your comment regarding the positioning of the Jets.

Non existent after sales support
We had an issue with our Hot Tub it was making an unusual noise, I rang Rotospa and explained what was happening, I was promptly told that our hot tub was 1 month out of warranty and they would not send anyone out to have a look unless I paid a callout fee, also their engineers were not going to customers houses due to Covid, I explained that there was another way to get our hot tub but they were not willing to walk through our shed and garden, so they would not help me. I was advised to go to another hot tub company to come and have a look and fix which they did within a few days at a cost of £225. We have also had another issue with our hot tub lid. We noticed that the lid was getting very heavy, I rang rotspa to ask for some advice and I was told that the lid had deteriorated and we would need to purchase a new lid at a cost of £350 . We are unable to lift the lid as it is so heavy and hence not been able to use our £5000 hot tub. I have rang rotapsa on many occasions to be met with excuses and very little help. I have also asked for the owners/managers email address so I could email them direct and I was told that I had to just email the sales personnel and they would deal, it has been like hitting my head up a brick wall. We had had our hot tub for 2 and a half years, we paid around £5000 for it and now it is just a decoration in our garden that we cannot use. Our electricity bills have gone up and we have subsequently found out that when the hot tub lid gets heavy it means that it is not working properly and letting all the heat out which in turn meant that the hot tub is working harder to keep the temperature correct hence using more electricity, we have now turned it off and are now longer using it. We have found that the after sales help is none existent and it seems that Rotaspa are more than happy to take your money when purchasing a hot tub but are not interested in helping loyal customers when things go wrong. We have spent over £5000 for a piece of equipment we can no longer use.

Good afternoon Mr Land,
Following your review I have spoken to the dealer you purchased your RotoSpa from and also the team at RotoSpa who you dealt with your request for a call out in May.
I would like to start with the engineer who was unable to your call out during lockdown.
The team have explained to me that the safety of their staff and yourself was imperative, resulting in them being unable to attend. We were unable to attend any call outs that resulted in our staff having to come through any enclosed space, which your shed was included. I do hope that you understand the wellbeing of the staff and customers needs to come first on any call out, at any time.
Following the Government Guidelines and the wishes of our employees this year, processes have been changed to ensure everyone is kept safe.
With regards to your warranty policy.
The Travel and Labour warranty on your RotoSpa is 1 year and Parts warranty is 2 years. You stated that you had owned your RotoSpa for two and a half years, meaning the travel and labour warranty on a call out had ended over a year prior to this. If the RotoSpa engineer had been able to attend the site, you would have had to pay a call out fee as stated in your agreement.
As this was the case, the adviser gave you the correct choice to either wait for a RotoSpa engineer to attend when it was safe to do so or use your own engineer. We believe that this was a reasonable and sensible request by our adviser.
With regards to the parts warranty, I have been informed that even though you were over the 2 year warranty timescale, the dealer gave you a brand new cover at half of the normal costs and a free chemical pack, as a good will gesture.
I feel this was a very kind offering from the dealer and do hope you feel the same.
I am told that you removed your review from the dealers Trustpilot following this, which they are very grateful for.
