Alex was a great tour guide. He was patient when we were nervous and gave an informative, fun tour. The e-bikes really helped especially for those of us who aren’t really bikers. Overall I would give this tour 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We were able to see things like the Apian way and the ancient aqueducts which you can’t see in a normal tour.

Very interesting trip with super friendly guide and staff at meeting point. The guide did a great job telling us about Rom from a historical point of view.
A very good experience

Iman was so great at making sure we got through Rome traffic. He also had such great stories about Roman history and kept our boys entertained with stories about Roman emperors.

We had the best time. Family of 4 with 2 teens. Was such a great way to learn about Italy’s history without all the crowds. Our guide was super friendly and helpful. You could tell he loves what he does and that made our experience memorable. My kids both said it was the best thing we did in Rome.

Really good tour with a top guide (Chris)!

This was the best choice we made for our very short stay in Rome. We were able to see all over Rome in one day. Our guide Nico was top-notch. He was knowledgeable and personable, and we completely enjoyed his company and tour.

I'm late in writing this review of our tour with Roma Starbike and specifically, Alex. We hired for a tour of the Aquaducts and Catacombs for 4+ hours and it was fantastic! Like a serious highlight of our Roma experience. They're a block away from the Coliseum, and the day of our tour the Italian national bike race was happening (not recalling the formal name) which just added to the experience. The e-bikes were clean, in amazing condition and very comfortable (and quite easy to use). We were supposed to be a group of 6 i believe but the other family didn't make it so we had Alex all to ourselves - a game changer I'd imagine. He's very articulate, sweet, funny and incredibly knowledgable about all he showed it - which was a lot! I'll end here but just do this tour. It's super fun, a great opportunity to get out of downtown Roma and see the country side and the history of the catacombs and aquaducts is beyond facinating. Just do it. And tell Alex we said Ciao bella!

Mattia was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable, with a lot of anecdotes. He made our very early bike trip ver fun and woke us up with jokes and Joie de vivre. We had a good Times, my kids loved it. It's definitely the best way to discover Rome.

Ava was an excellent tour guide. She was very informative and engaging for our whole family (4chn agesd 8, 13, 15 & 15). We appreciated her patience and kindness especially for our 8 year old who was riding an e-bike for the first time. Thank you Ava for a memorable time in Rome!!

Alex was a wonderful guide who carefully kept us safe at every stage of the trip, was warm, fun and relaxed, and also knowledgeable, sharing valuable information with enthusiasm and appreciation for the story of each place we visited. The bikes and gear were in great shape, the selected route wonderful. The ease of going into the catacombs as part of the tour and having all tickets sorted out a plus. I would only make the brunch a little healthier with choice of fruits and maybe some vegetables too. I would highly recommend this experience .

This tour made seeing a number of Rome highlights accessible in a short period of time with the added bonus of a reasonable amount of historical context. The bikes were in good condition and our guide was able to manage a variety of biking experience levels easily.

Palo was a great guide, we had fun and learned a great deal. The sites were spectacular and I would totally do it again!

This was probably the best tour we had in Rome during our one week visit. You can get out on the electric bike and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sites. It was awesome!

... I didn't like a lot our guide couse the English was not very good and very hard to understand what she was saying .

Great tour of city. See all the sites and beat the heat! Our group was ages 21-55 and pace was perfect and guide had so much useful information. Would book again.

Our bike tour with Alex along the Appian Way was, without a doubt, one of the best family experiences we’ve ever had. Alex took incredible care of us from start to finish — thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable, he made the whole experience feel easy and unforgettable. Exploring the ancient Roman road, countryside, and ruins was breathtaking, and our five-year-old had such a great time he didn’t want it to end! Alex was truly amazing, and we’re so grateful for the memories he helped us create.
