Scammed me out of my money
Ordered a pair of shoes in september with a giftcard. Said shoes did not arrive. After 2 weeks i emailed asking where my shoes were. Their response: ‘issues with royal mail and they’d issue me a refund’. I received a £1 refund a few days later. Upon emailing asking where the rest of my money was they responded that: ‘it only comes through as a £1 order on the system and they’d look into it’ which is a joke in itself. If the cheapest pair of shoes on your site cost £15 it’s extremely obvious the rest of the balance would’ve been paid via a giftcard. They then proceeded to pry about where i received my giftcard where i stated that i had obtained it from a trusted site i have used many times where you can exchange cash for a brands giftcard at a cheaper rate (eg. pay £10 receive a £15 giftcard). This is the point where customer service stopped responding despite my numerous follow up emails to the thread and starting new ones. They refused to respond to the point where i was confident they’d either blocked or blacklisted me so i contacted the site where i purchased my giftcard and they contacted the rollasole rep for me. The response: ‘the giftcard i had received was issued in error and i wasn’t supposed to have been able to obtain it.’ Excuse me? You joined that site. You allowed users to select your brand to purchase giftcards. Even if you had forgotten to remove your account from the site it is your duty to honour your mistake. The customer service rep for the site attempted to dispute this with rollasole however they also seemed to be blacklisted too as she informed me that rollasole were just sending her automated emails. This is extremely unprofessional behaviour. The fact that they’d go to this point over £10 speaks volumes about this company. If you are supposedly successful and a legit company then why is refunding £10 for your mistake so much of an issue for you? And why do you join these sites if your intention is to scam innocent users out of their hard earned money? £10 is minuscule to any successful company so why are you blocking anyone who asks for refunds? Extremely suspicious behaviour. Also illegal too
