Should be ZERO stars.

Received far too many promo emails. Attempted to use one for “20% off and free shipping” — didn’t work, their website ignored their own promo.

Tried to “go to order” to check on adding promo, received an immediate “your order has been placed”! Not my intent.

A “cancel order” button was on my screen. Selected it. Did absolutely nothing

This was on a Sunday. Rockport’s customer service number is not available on Sunday. Called on the next day, Monday. Finally received a lying reply “we begin working on all orders within an hour of receipt (please, byotch!)

Shipping on this “urgent” (ha!) order then delayed by a week by Rockport.

Untrustworthy company. Avoid like the plague

Rockport have weak materials and soles of "EVA" material, dissolves. Cheap false leather to save costs make shoes fall apart.
Poor customers who must suffer from this crap they have paid big money for!
Imagine to be on holidays and your shoes cannot be worn.

So my heritage boots arrived and the box was all ripped and the boots had scuffs and chips out of them, including a chunk of sole missing. Not only that but the overall finish wasn’t great and the stitching holes varied massively on each boot from tiny to overly big where you can see inside the boot. Contacted customer service and waited weeks for a reply. After months of waiting for the odd reply and being told they would reimburse me 30% of the boots £300 cost as the quality isn’t great. I’ve received not a bean and they now won’t reply. Real let down for such a boot .would not recommend.

I bought a pair of boat shoes. The sole separated from the shoe within an hour of putting them on. Customer service is unresponsive.

I have been ordering from Rockport shoes for years, In May 2025 I ordered a pair for my wife for work and they already look like garbage, torn on the side and worn out heels In no way should they be looking like that. I called Rockport and they said they can’t do anything basically. Those shoes cost $125.00 I feel they should reimburse me or give me a hefty discount on another pair, those shoes already look like they are old. I’m very disappointed with rockport after I have been ordering shoes from them years ago. SAD, SAD and SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing more than a bunch of crooked fraudsters. Been chasing a product return in the UK worth £295 for over a month with no success. All the while they have the goods I returned in their possession. Emails plainly ignored by them. DO NOT spend your money with these con artists!!!

I placed an order on 5/6/25 after waiting for a month and half they cancelled my orders because supposedly I me the order out of the US which is not true. Puerto Rico is a US territory and obviously part of US and besides that on the website drop down list PR is on that list. This is just bad customer service. Love the shoes but again the customer service sucks.

I was on a business trip when my Rockport shoes fell apart. Very embarrassing. Pieces of rubber fell off from the side of one shoe - poor quality, made in China. Wherever I walked, I left parts of black rubber behind. Lost the trust in this brand.

Wow, what a terrible company. I purchased a pair of shoes and was told 1-2 day for handling before shipping. 6 days later I contact them about the order as it still hadn't shipped and asked to cancel it. They responded a day later that they couldn't cancel it (even though it had yet to ship), then proceeded to argue with me about how long the handling time is (even though I have the email that states 1-2 business days). 13 days later the shoes arrive and they look like they are made of paper. I have returned them but I am not being refunded the $9.95 I paid for shipping. In short, I would strongly caution against doing business with this company.

I’m sorry I didn't read so many negative reviews before because I would never buy Rockport shoes. Almost new shoes formally fell apart after only a few wears.
I do not understand that company as Rockport allows itself to tarnish its reputation so much by ignoring consumer complaints. You can only get instructions from the customs office that the return period is 30 days. Who wears the same shoes for 30 days to judge their quality?
Anyone can make poor quality shoes in some period of time because they get pour quality parts from the supplier, but then they apologize and send you a voucher so you can buy new shoes with the error corrected. That is not the case with Rockport. They recklessly deceive customers by constantly producing poor quality shoes and without any shame they do nothing to accept complaints and start producing better quality goods.
I invite all dissatisfied customers to write a negative review and warn others not to fall for their scams. That's the only way to force them to make some changes in production or to go bankrupt...

First time that I wore Rockport Boat Shoes to my office, the sole had separated by the end of the day. I tried to contact Rockport Customer Service, but their firewall returned multiple emails with the photo attached.
I have purchased six pairs of Rockport shoes over the last two years. This may be my last purchase.

What a terrible shopping experience with Rockport on line. Last week I ordered a pair of Pro Walker M7100 shoes in a 12M, to replace a pair of Clarke's I've been wearing in size 11 1/2 M. 1. first the "welcome20" 20% discount code would not work, so I have to accept the "welcome15" 15% discount. On $79.95 shoes: a $11.99 discount, instead of the featured $15.99 discount...so I paid an extra $4.00 on this, my first order with Rockport. 2. Then I see they charged my Discover Card $5.16 for NJ Sales Tax, even though NJ does not charge sales tax on clothing or shoes. For some strange reason they are only refunding me $4.50 for Tax on my return. 3. Today I receive the 12M shoes, which are shorter and more narrow than the 11 1/2 M Clarke's I've been wearing for years....so I need to return. 4. Even though the website indicates, easy returns within 30 days, for a $6.95 processing fee. They didn't point out that in addition to the $6.95 to return, I would not be refunded the $9.95 I paid for shipping the original order. 5. Bottom Line: it cost me $17.56 to find out that Rockport shoes do not fit my usual shoe size. Pretty upsetting, and no help from Customer Service, who said she was sorry, but that is their company policy on returns.

I ordered a pair of shoes pretended to be Rockport. I received a "nice" balpoint pen. These guys rob you with a smile.

Avoid like the plague.

I've been buying these show for years and am SHOCKED to see some of these reviews. I think people only review stuff that is bad. I'm guilty of that as well so here is my review of one of the best shoe brands on the planet. Comfortable, price is right for a QUALITY shoe and durable? Oh man I've taken these things through stuff that would have DESTROYED most shoes instantly and they asked for more. Love me some Rockports.

Late November 2024 I purchased what I thought was the perfect pair of shoes from Nordstroms. Very stylish and most importantly extremely comfortable, just what I was looking for. After wearing them two or three times the shoes began to fall apart. Initially it was a simple skid plate which I thought I could just super glue back on. What got me was at the airport traveling for work, while removing my shoes for a TSA check the sole began to come off. I didn’t have an extra pair of shoes. While waking to my gate the sole came completely off. I contacted customer service and here is where the blame game begins. It’s not a sells issue it’s a quality issue.

Over time, I gave purchased Rockport shoes mainly from shoe stores. They are very comfortable shoes. However, this time I ordered a pair on line from Rockport and paid $22 for expedited shipment. It is now day 5 and Rockport has still not handed over the package to UPS. I called Rockport and they just said they will go out soon. Never order on line from Rockport.
