The golf itself was fabulous
The golf itself was fabulous. A few suggestions: For the price, a more upscale hotel should be secured. No hotel amenities, only 1 bus traveling to golf event, and food was absolutely awful. Happy hour 4-7pm and bus didn't arrive back from golf until 7.45 to 8pm. Thursday bus too late to enjoy morning opening ceremony activities. Food truck outside of hotel patio was staffed by 3 heavy smokers, so unable to enjoy outside patio.

The Masters Tournament is truly one of sport’s most iconic events, and Sunday afternoon once again delivered the kind of drama and excitement that reminds us why it holds such a special place for so many.
We certainly recognize the unique dynamic of hosting one of the world’s most exclusive and in-demand sporting events in a small Georgia city. During Masters week, Augusta transforms in a way unlike any other time of year—right down to hotel parking lots filled with luxury vehicles. Given the location, upscale hotel options in close proximity to Augusta National Golf Club are extremely limited, though many feel this distinctive setting adds to the charm and character of the experience.
We appreciate your comments regarding the hotel and will be sure to share your feedback with their management team, particularly regarding the shuttle service. For many guests, it has proven to be a convenient and preferred option versus driving to and from the course, but your perspective is helpful as we continue to evaluate all aspects of the stay.

Greg and Cecile were our tour hosts and they were amazing. It was a bit expensive, but totally worth it. Since we did not have lots of experience visiting Italy, nor the Olympics, they made us feel totally comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed.

Jeff, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Having traveled to multiple Olympics with us, we particularly appreciate your insights and value hearing from you. We’re glad that you and your family enjoyed interacting with our host staff. They also mentioned that they enjoyed the time they spent with your family, sharing drinks and conversation at the Hotel Principe di Savoia when you arrived. I know from your Paris Summer Games experience, how much you enjoyed the Roadtrips Hospitality nights that we often have major events. For this event, due to the disparate schedules of guests we chose to run one-on-one hospitality as an alternative and we’re sorry that that wasn’t as enjoyable for you as your past group hospitality experiences. You also mentioned that it would have been nice if our staff would have accompanied your family to one of your earlier events. Although that’s not a set inclusion in our packages, our host teams often do just that and are willing to ride along as needed when it’s helpful for guests’ experiences or for guests to gain comfort with getting to events. We will try and make sure that we make the offer more proactively to you on a future trip.

So happy I used Roadtrips for this experience! Kris, Vanessa, and Jeff took such great care of us through the planning process, and were on site at our hotel every day to answer questions and provide assistance any way we needed.
