Should be able to give negative stars. claim they are going to send you a password and never do. When you try to reset the password you don't get that email either. They have no email address or phone number just Facebook Messenger which they don't answer either. Stay as far away from these scammers as possible.
Terrible customer service. Cannot resolve simple solution of taking payment, so they lose a customer.
It's bad, really bad. All apps that give free trial periods give all that they have for you to view and decide weather or not to purchase after the trial period. Not river, their content is less than half of stacks and you still have to go to their website to get their premium channels, which I didn't. I wish they weren't Canadian...
App is terrible it freezes constantly, I have to logout and back in 5 time a day, no customer service
This company RIVERTV offers a free trial and then makes it impossible for you to cancel your free trial and then proceeds to bill you you for a monthly subscription. No one answers their customer phone number 1-647-245-7769 and there is an automated message that says write an email to this email address >
and when you do, you get an automated response > "An email was recently sent to a mailbox that is no longer monitored and supported.If you have questions, concerns, or require assistance in any way, please sign-in to your RiverTV My Account to chat with a Team Member.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND REPLIES TO THIS EMAIL. THIS MESSAGE IS AUTOMATED AND FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY"
So I was finally able to login to a free trial account I initiated back on December 28th, 2024 and they tell me that >"Our refund policy clearly states that we do not provide refunds for subscriptions once they have been activated. "
I never once activated or used their services and this company behaves in the most unethical manner!

River TV used to be good but now it is…
River TV used to be good but now it is totally garbage and there is no way to contact them.
The River TV on Roku is useless, you can't see what you are watching because there is no description it just shows you the channel' name and some channels like CBC News won't play or the feed is delay by 2 full minutes and NewsMax has a delay of 4 minutes and there is no way to contact tech support.

Keep charging me for cancelled subscription
I cancelled my subscription two years ago and they keep charging me every month. I login and it says subscription cancelled July 2022. My credit card company won’t stop the payment. What a scam!
