River island is the only shop I use now,great value and quality.Returns couldn’t be easier no emailing them to request a return label,money back very quickly ,they make shopping on line so easy.

the sizing is a joke picked up a size 18 dress and shirt set and soon relised that there take on a size 18 is a size 14 2 dress sizes down what a way to 1 make women feel rubbish about there body but 2 to scam people out of money shame on you river island

I was initially going to give a poor score, mainly because after having placed my online order, I never received a confirmation email to say payment had been taken and the item was on its way, which is what happens with every other company I've dealt with thus far? So by checking my account on their website I was able to track my goods, and hey presto it was delivered within timescale and I have just opened my package. Great fit, lovely item and at a great price in their summer sale. Well done.

If there were zero stars I would give them zero! They sent me the incorrect item and then take ages to reply to me and now because of them the item I ordered is out of stock, so I’m sending it all back! Absolutely shocking customer services!!! Poor poor poor

First thy send me the wrong item, and then expect me to pay for overseas shipping myself to return it! Unbelievable!!

Awful customer service, will not swap a size of babies clothes that was gifted the day before without a gift reciept even though it's got all tags and everything intact, will never buy or recommend to buy to anyone, would much rather go to next!

Ordered 5 thirst only received one,now won't issue refund or replace,told me to go to my bank and ask them to do a chargeback

Placed an order online over a week ago & still haven’t received it! Just not what you expect from such a popular company! Order the outfit for an occasion that has now been missed! Will definitely not be ordering off them again!

That is, unless you’re willing to pay up to 40€ to be able to get and return items back. This is absolutely ridiculous, never in my life was I forced to pay such obscene shipping costs! Never have I seen such service in any other company. CS essentially telling me to suck it up, and pay that money for a return did not feel very nice either.

Shocking customer service shocking attitude in store and in customer services purchased products and refused an exchange as it was my fault there was a pandemic joke of a company avoid at all costs

Disgusted today to find out that I couldn’t return two shirts that I bought in December just before the recent lockdown without the receipt although the shirts still had the tags and hangers! So much has gone on over the last 4 to 5 months and I’ve mislaid the receipt, with everything that is happening you’d expect a little bit of extra courtesy! I’ve had to work all through the pandemic as a heating engineer making sure everybody has heating and hot water

Absolutely love River island clothes. Fits perfectly and true to size.

Very disappointed in size and quality of river island jeans at present. I always wear RI jeans they are my go to but I have purchased 4 pairs since xmas and the sizing and quality is questionable to say the least. What has happened RI?? Returns from Ireland is awful so going to shop else where. So disappointed.

I placed an oder last week, and today received the request for paying extra money for customs which basically eoukd double the price of the items bought. Worse that that, on the website it is clearly stated that all custom costs are paid by the seller, which is a lie. Also, when looking up the app, it stated that another shipping company sent the same package. Basically I received 2 tracking numbers from 2 different shipping companies, with one having to pay crazy amount of postage and the other unable to be tracked. So far, already contacted customer service twice, sent them all the oroff for my complaint and cannot be refunded because this option does not exist nor do I get a response from the seller. Overall, misleading information, very poor service. The worst online store I have ever used.

If only I could chose zero star! I made a purchase online 3 days ago for items on SALE. They were available online, I paid and I received the confirmation email.
I just received an email telling me that the order has been canceled due to "unavailability"! After receiving payment and confirming that the order was going to be soon dispatched!
If I knew I wouldn't have chosen to buy gifts to my family from there as I could have benefited from the SALE elsewhere from Zara or Mango which are actually far more committed to their customers. What a shame
