Don't Order from this Place!!!
I ordered & paid through PayPal for the large handbag. What came was not the most expensive size I ordered & paid for. A couple days after it arrived & I realized I couldn't use this tiny bag even after a great effort, I wrote a nice email explaining this & that I need something done to correct this issue. I would have taken a variety of ways to correct ritas handbags mistake, but there was no reply at all.
About 2 weeks later, when there was no response, I did begin & only had to push submit a complaint with PayPal regarding ritas handbags. Instead, I foolishly decided to send another email letting them know I would contact PayPal if I had to. I thought PayPal allowed 6 months because there's always this 'you have before such a date to submit problems' and I think it's 6 months. That's 100% not true. More on that later.
THAT email got me a response from ritas handbags. Seems scammers don't like to be reported to PayPal. In the email, instead of addressing the issue, I was put off because they said they'd be out of town and would deal with it when they got back. Nice customer service huh?
I figured ok because I didn't know what ritas handbags knew or were up to. By delaying a response to beyond 30 days, no matter what I said/wrote/proved to PayPal, PayPal wouldn't honor my complaint! After 30 days PayPal always rules for the seller!!! Always. Got that directly from calling PayPal's overseas customer service center. So scammers win after 30 days - ritas handbags didn't have to abide by at the very least general ethical business practices.
I thought ritas handbags was a legitimate company. When they got back, they didn't answer my response to their push off email or send a return label, etc like they mentioned in the response. Totally ignored me. Since I had sent pictures, copy of the invoice which had all my information I waited a short time for them to get back & send what I needed to return the item. At the very least a “sorry, what can we do to correct our mistake.” Nothing transpired which of course except to only push the time frame well over any possible course of action for me.
To add to their scam tactics - it's not shipped right away, but I didn't think anything about it. Also, there is no date on the invoice they send with the item. So that means they can claim they sent it the next day which would make my receiving it much sooner than actually received. PayPal deals with date I sent complaint. All these things a good scammer knows since they work continuously with PayPal.
Since her only response said, “I will send you a return label for the other bag that's going to have to be next week we are leaving to do a craft show tomorrow morning. And we won't be back until Monday”. When abt 10 business days had passed from when they should have come back & I should have received the return label, I wrote them another email. Of course I never got a response from that one either. But, also on the same day I finally filled out & submitted the complaint against ritas handbags. Not knowing ritas handbags had screwed me because their delay tactics had pushed it all passed the 30 day window PayPal allowed that would have made them be honest.
Recap - order was placed using PayPal on October 4. Received October 14-15. First email October 16. Second email November 4. Third email November 17 (I should have been received the return label) Fourth email November 29 (still no return label or response). I also made the complaint against ritas handbags on November 29 to PayPal.
It's on me for assuming they were a legitimate business (we've all heard the "assume" warning) & writing them & not complaining immediately to PayPal about the issue and ritas handbags lack of response to the problem they created. Lots of sites and Facebook pages look legitimate with glowing reviews & praises. Unfortunately I fell for this scam. I got something, just not what I paid for.
I found out today PayPal denied and there is no 6 months guarantee. Its only 30 days.
