Renewing my membership was easy. Getting my tags was easy too. Shipping was fairly fast. Great experience. Service has been great.

I’ve never had to use it but I feel secure that if I lost one of my items I would surely get it back.

We found our lost keys due to this service. We recommend this everyone. A real life saver.

I ordered both custom and non-custom tags and was advised they would ship separately. The custom tags arrived relatively quickly and were of good quality, but the standard tags never arrived. After two weeks I contacted customer service and was told the standard tags had shipped and to give it a few days. Now that a month has passed without receiving the non-custom tags I am having to reach out again. It's just disappointing that after paying for their higher service tier and ordering additional products, I am not getting the benefit I expected.

I have used this service for several years and have twice recovered items lost in my local area with no shipping required. I am a Silver member and use an assortment of tags for my phone, tablet, luggage, and many small personal items.

ReturnMe contacted me before I even knew I lost my keys!!!!! I am forever grateful. I was walking my dog and my friend's two dogs, so I had my hands quite full. I didn't even realize my keys had fallen out of my pocket, until I received a phone call while I was at the dog park saying my keys had been found by a couple walking in the area. Within 20 minutes I had my keys back (which not only had my car keys to get home, but my home keys, parents keys, and friend's house key!!!). What I am MOST appreciative of is that fact that my problem was solved before I even knew I had a problem. I know I would have panicked being stranded at the park with 3 dogs, so I am soooo grateful for my ReturnMe Tag!!!!! THANK YOU!!! <3

Good service but I question the cost.

2 weeks ago I had a weekend trip to NYC and a terrible work week collide. My flight was Thursday morning at 5 am, and a project at work got out of control, so I pulled an all-nighter - showering and packing (poorly) before rushing to the airport in the nick of time. I am not the best traveler under the best of circumstances, so this was a doozy, and my day did not get better.

Due to the poor packing, it goes without saying that I had to endure a secondary bag screening at TSA, where I forgot to remove a money belt with about $300 cash before going through the people scanner. I removed the belt at the last minute and threw it into a separate bin from my other belongings.

Long story short, after the secondary screening of my carry on, I simply forgot about the money belt, which had a ReturnMe tag on it, and my expensive travel pillow (desperately needed- but not tagged). I didn't even realize this until my layover in Denver when I had an email from ReturnMe saying that someone reported my money belt and had it- I then noticed that I did not have my travel pillow either- which, not tagged, I probably will never see again.

It honestly felt like a miracle- I may not have noticed the missing items at all until I got on the next flight and wanted to sleep for my travel pillow, and when I got to NY and needed cash for a tip. Instead, the email I received from ReturnMe contained complete and clear instructions for either contacting the holder of my money belt myself or having ReturnMe deal with. I elected the latter and initially chose (with my Gold membership) the concierge option to have my money belt delivered to me overnight by FedEx to my hotel. I then thought better of having my cash flying all over the place and decided to pick up the money belt on my return 3 days later when I happily got my $300 back.

As you may guess, I also own Tiles and AirTags- I just learned and bought some ReturnMe tags earlier this year because I got one free with a backpack I purchased and thought maybe it would be a good back up on an international trip. I was still wondering if I really needed it with all my other items. This experience proved I did.

First, the AirTags and Tiles are one way devices- you can see where your item is but you can't communicate with the finder nor can they communicate with you. That makes it very difficult to connect real people to a lost item.

Second, the AirTags and Tiles, being more anonymous, are easy to locate and ditch, should someone be inclined. That was a more likely outcome with my money belt.

Third, AirTags and Tiles do not come with the fantastic and personalized customer that I received from ReturnMe. That was worth every penny- and the additional concierge delivery that is included in the price of the Gold membership, also well worth it.

Fourth, with Tile in particular, they are battery dependent and their functionality (volume and dependability to make them ring) has deteriorated markedly. I've lost objects in my house that I can't find with a Tile with a new battery because of this, and reliability is a key factor in using these things. I would not trust just a Tile to work on any valuable object anymore.

I am currently on a vacation trip in Italy with a tour group. We parked at a tour bus stop in Sorrento where I accidentally left my Return Me bag on a bench. I didn’t notice it was missing until after the tour bus left about 15 min later. Panic ensued. Important travel documents were in there. My husband and i purchased this security bag specifically for this trip and i honestly didn’t think I’d lose it. I cannot stress how happy i am that i bought it because within that small timeframe of leaving it, someone had already reported it found. I revived a notification with a contact person and location of where it was. Return Me customer service was immediate. I was able to get the bag back quickly- immense relief! Customer service followed up to make sure everything was settled. 10/10 would recommend!

Bag was found I hadn't even realized I had lost

I left my bag at a restaurant. It didn't have anything critical in it (I had my wallet, phone and keys in hand), and my house, like, many descends into daily chaos. It took a while for me to really internalize that the bag didn't seem to be anywhere? Wasn't hanging up, wasn't in the car, wasn't under the bed, wasn't anywhere. Oh well, huh, who knows, too bad.

I was out of town maybe a week after that when I suddenly got an email saying my bag had been found! It gave me the information to directly contact the person who had found it (who was a member of my own community!) and I texted them right away. They got back to me quickly, and we arranged to get the bag back when I got home. A few days after I was home, I zipped by their house, and got my bag back. There were regular phone checkins from return me (the only caveat there being that they often came up as spam, so I wasn't necessarily answer them), but all communication was timely, and made it really easy to get my bag back, thanks to the kindness of the people in my area!
