Have purchased parts a couple of times, most recently a superb vent-seal kit for my Acadiane (Now sold). The parts were top-quality/great value. Shipping (Certainly within the U.K.) was fast, and special instructions required for ease of fitment, were included....Was very happy with the end result!

Have also, recently, used Retrospec to advertise my Simca Aronde for sale, and have to say that the process is extremely simple, fast, FREE, and the end result looks at least AS professional as the likes of "Car and Classic" etc....Very impressive service!

I think the Retrospec site 'Classic cars for sale' is rapidly becoming the place to view, buy or sell Citroën cars.
Daras very kindly makes this free to advertise, but more importantly I think is that it's viewed by the right sort of people (2CV etc buffs).
Daras puts work into this, very helpful whilst composing my advert through email.
My car sold quickly, a quick email to inform of this and the 'Sold' banner appeared. No hassle whatsoever.
Obviously, Retrospec is great for many others things apart from buying and selling cars ... it's the place I always go to for mirror parts, electrical parts and other well sourced stuff which is generally hard to find, or of dubious quality.

Put my 2cv AZU van for sale on the site. Easy to do. Had a good response and sold very quickly.
Had one scam enquiry which Retrospect pick up very quickly and gave me a notification.

What can I say? There are not many websites like this one anywhere I can think of, and I've been digital since 1999. Retrospect is just brilliant, simple and effective. You advertise your car for free and wait for those interested to get in touch. No brainer. And if you've got any questions or suggestions, Daras comes back very quickly with all the advice on a plate. Our car took a while to sell, due to its ageing condition. Parcel came very quick, great quality and good customer service

Shipping was slow. Mirror trim took me hours to fit. I wish I was being dramatic. Many attempts. I even looked up how much a whole unit would be instead. Cut myself on the mirror glass. I will NEVER fit another one.
