You see yourself in direct comparison with others who are in the same boat and can discover things, both good and bad. It's a way to find artists who don't have k or m plays, likes and followers, but who are also looking for identity and their own way. It really helps me move forward ...

Fun way to network, interact, and grow your Sound Cloud presence...

The idea and work of the RepostExchange made me a better artist and someone that is more connected with the comminity. Love to discover new artist like me, and that all because of them.

I started music production on January 1st 2024. After over a month on SoundCloud I had 10 followers, mostly people I know irl. Then around mid February I came across RepostExchange a platform to promote your own music, listen to and share other producers music.
RE are officially linked to SoundCloud and their platform works extremely well with it. RE run competitions to remix top tracks with prizes that could boggle the mind of a new upstart producer. I entered the last one and it focused my mind and gave me a spur to produce better music. (1st prize was a potential record deal with Atlantic Records, and no not click bait).
They have plenty of other features that give you opportunities to earn credits which you can then use to run a campaign on one of your tracks or mixes. They have a free version, which is a bit of a grind but nothing more than you would expect from a freebie. Their paid plans range from very affordable right up.
Now not even 2 months in and I am approaching 200 followers and am getting regular feedback and shares from others with a genuine interest in my preferred genres. Cannot recommend it highly enough, and, if like me you love new music, then you cannot go wrong with RE (power hour is a great recent addition). I also feel it is better than soundcloud itself for discovering new music. If you're new to production it would be my absolute top tip. Go sign up!

My experience with this platform is always good. I
need to use more tools at my disposal to gain more followers. I usually promote three times depending on how many plays you have on your track is . My strategy is to use the tracks that have three to four hundred plays to get the track to blow up faster. Sponsored follow campaigns will get more followers witch I want to do it will help me grow my audience.

I really like the fact that I can promote my music through repost exchange I believe it's the best way to have at least some level of control when promoting. I feel like I get honest feed back and I know that I don't repost anything unless I truly like what I hear and I believe that is reciprocal will continue to use it more often in the future
