I rented a car from Vilsonp and I would not recommend it to anyone.
First of all, I chose this company because it stated that card payment was accepted. However, when I arrived, I was told I could only pay in cash.
Another issue was that I paid for full insurance, but the car I received was in very poor condition. First, one of the front headlights was not working. I was told it was just a sensor issue and that the light was actually working — but it was not. Driving at night was nearly impossible.
The car also had completely worn-out tires. Our safety was put at risk because one tire was so worn down that after driving for a while it became half-flat, and another tire on the same side had clearly been repaired before and had a bulge in it. We only realized how terrible the condition of the tires was after putting on the spare tire.
The interior of the car was not very clean either, especially around the mirror area.
I honestly don’t understand the point of paying for full insurance if the car is still being filmed and inspected for every little thing to check whether you damaged it.
We ended up paying out of our own pocket to replace two tires on their car and had our vacation disrupted because of it.
We do not recommend this platform or renting a car from here. Customer support was completely useless, just like the full insurance. Save your money.

Thanks to their app I had the best car rental experience ever! Though it has some minor bugs, it creates a great marketplace where you can pick your preferred car from local businesses and private owners, and , interestingly, even request and evaluate offers having specified your needs. I got tens of offers in a few minutes for a last second rental! And had an amazing stress-free experience with the offer I accepted. If only all car rentals around the world worked like this…

Très bonne expérience, le monsieur est très gentil, le véhicule roule bien, mais il fait un bruit dès que tu roules au dessus de 105km/h. Sinon tout s’est très bien passé

Nous avons récupéré le véhicule à l’aéroport de Tirana et avons réglé la deuxième partie du paiement de la location comme prévu.
Cependant, lors de la remise du véhicule, on nous a demandé de payer 8 € en espèces pour le parking. Nous n’avons pas compris cette demande, d’autant plus que nous avons rencontré d’autres clients ayant réservé un véhicule qui n’ont pas eu à payer ces frais de parking.
Nous avons essayé de communiquer avec l’agence sur place, mais la personne faisait semblant de ne pas comprendre notre demande d’explication.
Pouvez-vous nous préciser si ces frais sont normaux et prévus dans les conditions de location ?
