Deceptive practices, an unfair fuel policy, and a lying owner!
Absolutely terrible service. I was handed a car with only half a tank and was explicitly told at reception that I could return it with any fuel level, as the difference would be settled on the spot. I returned the car completely full (a full tank cost us 45€), but they outright refused to refund even 20€ for the difference.
Their system is completely unfair and exploitative: if you return the car with less fuel, they charge you a penalty, but if you return it with extra fuel, you get zero compensation. They are essentially pocketing the extra fuel I paid for and charging the next customer for it again.
Instead of resolving the issue, the business owner is now blatantly lying in public responses. They claim I should have read the "rules" on their website—rules they seem to have just added! Yet, they couldn't be bothered to include these rules in the actual printed contract that is currently sitting right here on my desk. There is absolutely nothing stated in the contract regarding this one-sided fuel policy.
Furthermore, the owner falsely accused me of writing a "fake" review and "threatening" them. I never threatened anyone; I merely stated my intention to share my negative experience publicly if my issue remained unresolved. It is clear they do not care about customer satisfaction or their reputation.
To top it all off, the car had a disgusting, foul odor inside throughout our entire trip. It was so unbearable that we only managed to drive 160 km in 7 days.
Nothing about my review is fake; these are just the facts. Absolute greed and incompetence. Avoid this place at all costs.
