Amelia did a wonderful job as our advisor. She was prompt with her replies to any question I had and truly seemed to want to help

I work the night shift at the hospital three days a week, and by the time I get home at 8am, I'm running on fumes. My mom comes over to stay with the kids while I sleep, and I used to lie in bed with my heart pounding because I knew my nine-year-old was sitting at the kitchen table with a stack of workbooks he didn't understand, waiting for me to wake up and explain fractions or whatever we were supposedly "doing" that day. My mom would try to help, but she's seventy-two and hasn't done long division since the seventies, so she'd end up just making him a sandwich and letting him watch TV until I dragged myself out of bed at four. I felt like I was failing at literally everything- my job, my kids, my sleep, my sanity. I remember sitting in my car in the hospital parking lot one morning after a rough shift, scrolling through homeschool groups on my phone and just sobbing because I didn't know how other moms made this look so easy when I couldn't even keep my eyes open.

A friend from work told me about this online curriculum, and I only signed up because I was desperate and too tired to keep piecing things together myself. The first week, my son figured out how to log in by himself, and the lessons were short enough that he could actually finish them while I was asleep. My mom went from being a babysitter who felt guilty about the TV time to someone who could actually cheer him on because the program walks him through everything step by step. I still wake up at four, but now I check his progress on my phone before I even get out of bed, and we eat dinner together and he tells me about the solar system or whatever he learned that day. Last week he brought me a paper he wrote about nurses - about ME - and he said he wants to "help people like Mommy does." I sat there at the kitchen table and cried for probably the tenth time that year, but it was the first time in a long time that I didn't feel like I was drowning.

This curriculum works so well for our family. It’s the easiest and most comprehensive that we have found. Our son (16) is so much more willing to do his schoolwork with remote learning than with anything else we have tried. We are so grateful for remote learning!!

My child really enjoys using the RLS curriculum and wants to continue using it in the fall. Says the teacher-led video lessons are engaging, fun, and well constructed to help with information retention better than other homeschool programs used in the past. We love, love, love Amelia and appreciate her guidance as our advisor! She answers our questions and gives clear directives that makes using the RLS system very easy. Amelia furnished us a professional, official transcript on time and with all the lessons that were completed for this school year. We're so happy we learned about this program through Reddit! We're able to work at our own pace and add extra classes at no additional cost to strengthen and solidify our child's understanding of a particular subject matter. We really like it!

Signed my son up for homeschooling using this program. He can get around it on his own and enjoys the lessons there. Customer service and advisors always answer any questions I have.

So far, we are only 2 days in, but I am so impressed with our advisor Amelia Reid. She’s amazingly quick to respond and gives complete answers and instructions. I do wish there was a bit more access to grades and progress for parents, however we are very happy with our choice to switch from Acellus to RLS.

My 15-year-old wanted more independence this year, so we tried Homeschool Pro to give him more control over his schedule. It’s worked out better than I expected. He plans his own weekly goals and checks in with me if he hits a roadblock.

I don’t have to micromanage, but I still feel like I know what he’s learning. It’s helped us avoid a lot of the typical teen pushback, and he's even gotten better at managing his time (finally!).

Remote learning school is very easy to use. They always respond to email questions and report cards are sent to you to send to the school board. Completely, no hassle program. Tons of courses to choose from!

Am new to homeschooling, but starting with Homeschool Pro was straightforward enough. After I registered my kids, I got assigned a homeschool advisor who helped me with all state forms I needed to properly start to homeschool and to withdaw them from school. The advisor also helped with suggesting what classes to pick and more. My kids signed in and immediately became familiar with the interface which is easy to use. If your kid ever watched youtube they will get used to this too, they just click on a lesson to start it and it plays the lesson video. They can watch lessons as many times as they want and rewind the lesson etc so they never miss anything. The lessons are engaging enough so that they did not lose focus, including my son with ADHD. Overall it was a great experience and looking forward to homeschooling.

We've been using this ever since we started homeschooling. Both Aidan and Emma love it. They are always eager to learn more. It was not like that in public school. They like that they can re-take quizzes as often as they need in order to improve their grade. I like that there is an advisor that I can always email for graduation stuff advice, which is important since Aidan is graduating 2 years from now and I want to be sure am not messing anything up and that all his credits will be recorded and he'll get his diploma.

Awesome customer service, I liked that there were quizes and that you could retake the quizes. I liked that there were some written assignments that were graded by real instructors that gave excellent feedback. It was easy to use and keeps track of what has been completed. I like that they give you a report card and certificates of completion at the end of the year. I think they could improve the quality of education by creating their own content. I think there needs to be more content, more quizzes, more assignments, and tests at the end of a unit. Topics should be covered more thoroughly. Some of the quizzes had errors where they had the wrong answer as the right answer so quizes need to be reviewed/edited, but I think if I would have let them know they probably would have fixed it. If you ask them to get the assignments graded they will give you priority and get it graded more quickly, but otherwise it takes quite a while for written assignments to get graded. Though new material should be added to the classes, I didn't like the timing of it when all of the sudden there is more material to complete that you weren't expecting so if somehow the new version could only show up prior to beginning the class that would be better.

Amelia Reid has been most helpful with our Remote Learning School questions and inquiries. She responds quickly, courteously and clearly. Much appreciation!

Konner has been very helpful this year in ensuring everything was handled for my 3 students. He has made sure teachers have graded things promptly. He has helped with retrieving end of year documentation and even opened up the next grade of classes so I could have the boys plan what they would take for next year.

Our homeschool advisor, Lita Viera, has been a tremendous help! Helping with whatever questions I may have and even unlocking higher grades to enable my son’s ability to excel in his school!!!!
