POOR SERVICE DELIVERY
A transaction of 631.86 GBP that I made on December 10, 2025, was supposed to go to the recipient's bank, but it was mistakenly pushed to MTN by a staff member. Despite providing the recipient's bank statement and MTN Mobile Money statement as evidence of not receiving the money, it has still not reflected or refunded as of today, February 11, 2026, making it two months and a day since my money has been stuck with them. I called them yesterday, and they told me to wait another 10 days, as usual. These people seem not to care about it at all, and they keep lying to me. I'm really frustrated at the moment about the whole thing. Beware, especially Ghanaians using this app.
Following the above complaint, I finally received a refund on March 5, 2026. It wasn't smooth, though. Thanks to Nakash and Fauzan. Sorry if I didn't get the spellings right.

Trust them for 'Conflict Resolution'
On Friday, 6th February 2026, a concerned manager of Remit Home called me to try to overturn my mistrust caused by my problem which started on 25th January. Although I received a refund, he didn’t leave matters there. He was determined to win my trust. My belief is that we learn from mistakes and wrong actions. I later did a transfer and it went through without and problem. After the transfer went through I waited till now to see if there would be an attempt to patronise me but this has not happened so I believe that the manager's call was with genuine intentions. This is why I have given Remit Home 5 Stars.

This is a scammer, I used them to transfer money about two weeks now, they did not send the money to the beneficiary and they have refused to refund my money till now. When I chat with them, they start to play games with mind. If you work hard for your money then don’t use them. Mind you if start newly with them, they will let you trust them and later scam you.

Are they deliberately withholding funds?
I have been using this company for the past 4-5 months due to their competitive transfer rates. What I've noticed is that they're regularly withholding my money under the guise financial regulations. I submitted a bank statement on 22nd January 2026, Now within just two weeks, they've withheld another transfer transaction again asking for a new bank statement. I was initially informed in a chat that a computer randomly picked my transaction, and had nothing to do with them. However, during subsequent chats, I was informed thee was not enough money in my account previously,and therefore I need to prove the source of my recent transfer. This suggests to me that they're deliberately withholding funds transfer. I won't use them again.

They are Shitty, DO NOT USE !
They are not reliable. Use this platform at your own risk. They will take your money and refuse to send it to the receipient and when you complain, they will be giving you senseless excuses. My transaction shows delivered on the app yet has not been received neither has it been refunded since 25th January 2026. They are absolutely full of shit!

Bunch of criminals. Please dont use app for money transfer. Please, i say dont use this app. They have kept money and refusing to take my calls.
I used this app to send money to Ghana on 29th and the money is still not paid. My name is William and the money was sent to Peter Obeng. They keep telling the same story since 29th January 2026 till date.

Remithome’s service is extremely disappointing. While money is deducted from my account within seconds, it takes ages for the recipient to actually receive the funds. Every single time there’s an issue, I have to call repeatedly and follow up for 24 hours or more before anything is resolved.
What makes it worse is their live chat support, which is honestly the worst—slow, unhelpful, and unreliable. A service like this should not require constant chasing just to get a basic transaction completed.
Due to the poor service and lack of reliable support, I’m closing my account and deleting it. I would not recommend this platform to anyone who values efficiency and peace of mind.

Not trustworthy..scam and poor service
Not trustworthy, several attempts to hold clients money in a scam disguised as ‘compliance hold’ ! Asking for 3 months bank statement sto verify funds but not flexible to accept dates that statements are issued if not covering day transaction carried out . No customer calls, just chats and very frustrating! Poor service and will not recommend at all. I was told not to trust them but got reeled in by the slightly higher exchange rate. Poor !!

Never try to use this app for any fund…
Never try to use this app for any fund transfer. Poor customer service and funds can get stuck for 5 days. They enticed customers with high rates and give you a mental stress and frustration. It is never good for an emergency transfer. I have two terrible experiences with them and I am just hoping they will honour the refund. I am suspecting they don't have any legitimate structures with the receiving countries and that could be the reason they struggle to get the funds done unlike others. Use it at your own risk.
Don't be bothered by their high rates.

My experience with REMIT HOME has been absolutely terrible. They hold your money for days with no proper explanation. Once they have your funds, you’re left chasing them endlessly.
Their customer service is a complete joke. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and inconsistent. You never get the same answer twice, and to make it worse, it seems like the same person answers the phone using different names. One day it’s “David,” the next it’s “Bryan.” It’s ridiculous and unacceptable.
There is zero transparency, zero accountability, and zero respect for customers. The stress and frustration they caused me is unbelievable. I should never have trusted them with my money.
If you’ve had any dealings with them, report them to the FCA or the Financial Ombudsman Service. People deserve better than this.
Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this company.

Poor services
They show high exchange rates to attract customers. Transfers take more than 24 hours to reach the recipient. You have to make several calls and scream at them. They always blame recipient network provider for the delays when other platforms deliver within minutes. They have poor customer service. They won’t let you speak with a supervisor, they drop the call when you complain. It’s very frustrating dealing with them. I’m deleting the app right away! Terrible!

I transferred money to Ghana as at…
I transferred money to Ghana as at Sunday, 25 January 2026, the transaction status has since shown ‘delivered’ on that date but hasn’t reflected in the recipient bank account. I contacted to follow up and I was told it’ll reflect in 24hrs, then became 48hrs and now I was asked to provide an alternative beneficiary bank account who has still not received the transfer. It is 29 January 2026, and I have no clue when I will be receiving the money and what’s wrong. I must say my earlier experience with Remit has been good however, I’m not sure about my current predicament. I need the money to urgently cover bills latest by 31 January 2026.
