Listing aggregator with some extra services

We were a bit in a pickle and required to find a short-let property quickly and arranged an introduction/sales call. Initial impression were that Relocify might have a wider pool of listings, insights and access to a wider network of realators in the Dutch market. Unfortunately according to our experience, they don't.

All of the listings that were put forward through the app we had already received from Funda or Huurwoningen subscriptions and we realised that they are their App is only aggregator of a few rental platforms. You can subscribe to these yourself free (Funda) or with a low subscription (Huurwoningen).

We mad the mistake to book one viewing to be attended by Relocify where they sent us a video from the viewing. Not much more insights gained from the video then what was already available from the listing.

We realised after more listings were sent to us that we won't be able to find a suitable short-let through this service (all listings were long-term lettings) and contacted a specialised local agency specialised into short-lets.

When we cancelled the service we learned that with the one listing we had requested we automatically lost our entire deposit (this is regardless if you ordered the small package with 250 deposit or big package with 500 deposit)

We did ask to possibly refund us partially since we used the service so briefly (a bit more than a week) with one viewing, but we were told that cancelling is our choice so they can't help. That's obviously true (should have studied the fine print), but also quite dissapointing in terms of customer service.

I can't comment on any other of their services, since as mentioned we only had one virtual viewing with them.

To clarify: The service was not cancelled because the service did no provide a tenancy in three weeks time, we did not had this expectations in this market. We cancelled the service since there are no exclusive listings or access to the market and we decided to work directly with the specialised agencies. The dog & cat, in our experience, were no problem when you offer to increase the deposit accordingly.

We’re sorry that our service did not meet your expectations.

We would like to clarify a few points for future readers. During your onboarding call, we explained that finding a suitable rental property, especially a short-term rental, typically requires several weeks, and we provided an estimated timeframe of 3–5 weeks ( we have communicated this in writing as well) . At no point did we suggest that we could guarantee a successful placement within 1–2 weeks. The service was cancelled by you after approximately 3 weeks, before we had sufficient time to complete the search process.

Another important detail was that we only became aware after enrollment and payment that your search included both a dog and a cat. This information was not disclosed during the onboarding consultation. As many landlords and short-term rental providers do not accept pets, this significantly reduced the number of suitable furnished rental options available. Had we been aware of this requirement from the start, we would have provided more conservative expectations regarding availability and timelines.

We have never claimed to provide only exclusive rental listings. Our service combines property matching, viewing support, application assistance, and local expertise to help clients navigate a highly competitive market.

Regarding the deposit, its non-refundable nature was clearly communicated in writing before enrollment and accepted as part of the service agreement.

While we understand your decision to pursue another solution, we believe this review does not fully reflect the circumstances of your search or the information provided before you joined our service.

Reliable, supportive and stress-free relocation support

This is the second time I have used Relocify’s services, and I highly recommend them.

The first time was when I relocated from the UK to the Netherlands. As an expat moving to a new country, finding a home in a short time felt very stressful, but Relocify supported me end to end. They visited properties on my behalf, gave me clear briefs and advice, supported me with the rental agreement, and made the whole process much smoother. By the time I landed in the Netherlands, the house was ready and I could go straight there, which was a huge relief.

Because of that positive experience and the trust I had in them, I reached out to Relocify again when I needed to move after my short term contract. This time, I had only one month to find a new home, but with their support I was lucky to find a place within around 1.5 weeks and move within three weeks.

Throughout both experiences, the team has been supportive, considerate, responsive and very helpful. They enabled everything I asked for and made what could have been a very stressful process feel much more manageable. I would highly recommend Relocify to anyone looking for reliable relocation and housing support in the Netherlands.

Ultra-Recommended Service for Expats!

I cannot recommend Relocify enough, especially for anyone looking to move to Amsterdam from abroad! I managed the entire process while I was still in another country. If I had gone the traditional route, I would have spent a fortune on Airbnbs and travel just to do viewings myself. Instead, this was an excellent investment that saved me both time and money.

- Matching Service: One of the best parts was that they found a co-tenant for me to jointly rent an apartment. Most importantly, they let us meet beforehand, before any payment was made, to ensure our profiles and personalities were a good match.
- Transparency: They let me test their app before I committed to any payment, which gave me a lot of confidence in their process.
-The Premium Package: I opted for the Premium package, split with the other co-tenant, and it was worth every cent. They essentially took care of everything. My only job was to tell them which apartments I was interested in, and they handled the viewings on my behalf.
- Paperwork & Logistics: They managed all the bureaucracy, paperwork, and contract reviews, which is a massive relief in a foreign market.

I want to give a huge special thanks to Yulia. She was incredibly supportive throughout the journey, always available to help and ensure everything felt right.

Room for Improvement:
While the service was incredible, I do have a small suggestion regarding the viewing videos. I think the videos could be more detailed, ideally without cuts between the entrance of the building and the apartment itself. Also, the external storage was never filmed; I think including that would provide a more complete picture of the property.

If you are relocating to Amsterdam, Relocify is a game-changer. They found me a person to rent with to make everything more affordable and handled every single headache of the rental market. I ultra-recommend their service!

Great Support Throughout

Writing this from my new place in Amsterdam and honestly, the whole process was way smoother than I expected.

Big thanks to the team and especially Gülçin. From day one, they made everything feel easy and stress-free. Whenever I had a question, they were always super calm, responsive, and helpful.

Finding a place in Amsterdam is already tough, and in my case I have both a cat and a dog — but they still managed to find me a place that fits perfectly. That really says a lot about how good they are at what they do.
I was also quite busy with work during the process, so the fact that they could visit apartments on my behalf and send realistic videos and photos made a huge difference. It made everything much more comfortable and easy to decide.

Even though this whole process is usually stressful, working with them felt surprisingly smooth and even enjoyable. I actually got the second apartment I made an offer for, which I think says enough.

If you’re relocating (or even just super busy), I’d definitely recommend working with them.

Great Service

Cannot recommend Relocify's service highly enough. Moving is inherently stressful, but trying to coordinate everything during the frantic lead-up to the Christmas period felt nearly impossible without them.

Special shoutout to our Account Manager Yulia. She was super helpful and patient while my partner and I battled through viewings to eventually find something we were really happy with. Despite the difficult timing and the inevitable holiday pressures, Yulia remained calm, professional, and incredibly proactive throughout.

They really need to refine their process

They really need to refine their technical process. Me and my family has expects, we don't know what should be checked in a house. They referred an apartment to us with a boiler with more than 05 years no maintenance - something that should be identified during the keys hand over and house check in. We're now terminating the contract due to a leakage and mold issue that was not solved for months buy the housing agency and landlord...

We paid big money to Relocify expecting to have a top prime service, including these technical details that are very important in The Netherlands and we're completely unaware as expats... Unfortunately, they even care about it... Again, specially regarding the boiler that was with no maintenance for more than 05 years, make us to be without heating in the house for almost 02 weeks.

For the money I paid, I was really expecting better service.

On top of it, I received an email "encouraging" me to delete the review here in Trustpilot. What is even more disappointing.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and understand how stressful housing issues can be, especially as expats.
For clarity, the tenancy began in January 2025 and lasted approximately 12 months. At the time of the viewing and check-in, the property was delivered in good condition, with no mold or defects reported, and the signed check-in report reflected this. The issues described (boiler and mold) arose many months into the tenancy.
Under Dutch law, responsibility for boiler maintenance, leaks, and mold lies with the landlord or authorized party. Relocify’s role is facilitating the rental process and making sure your legal rights as a tenant are respected; we do not own, manage or maintain rental properties.
We are always willing to support our clients when concerns are brought to our attention, but we had no way of knowing that you’re experiencing these ongoing issues, as there was no chain of communication. In the last 12 months we were never contacted by you about any of the described issues, therefore we unfortunately did not even have the opportunity to provide you with advice or help escalate matters with the landlord.
We wish you and your family all the best in your next home, and truly are disappointed that we could not have been of help!

Great service

Took a while because I had specific requirements but Yulia and the rest of the team did great finding me a place, while I was abroad in Scotland. Went above and beyond. Everything went smoothly, was well taken care of.
Was able to get an appointment with them the next day to talk through everything, while all other companies in the same industry just didn’t reply.
Good service, would recommend.

A great service to work with!

It was a pleasure to work with Relocify team. They provided me with all the necessary information I couldn't figure out myself in any short period of time, and they guided me through whole renting process, helping me to make right decisions on each step. With their help the whole process seemed much easier than it is by itself.

Has the spirit, needs technical refinement

Overall, nice experience. After about a month of searching, we viewed ~6 properties, sent offers to 3 of them, and eventually found a nice apartment for a rather reasonable price, and managed to move into our home directly after our flight. Yulia was our account manager, and she was really helpful during the process; she responded to our messages quickly and was insightful. The first virtual viewing (video) we got wasn't as good as we expected, but as we specified our expectations and what we wanted from a viewing, the future viewings were greatly improved.

Points of improvement:

- You'll be presented with a lot of properties that don't match your filters, simply because the crawling service isn't that capable on some sources yet, and can't extract some necessary data to match against your filters (i.e., pets allowed, bedroom count, floor space, furnished, etc.). This results in 90% of the shown postings being simply unavailable/undesirable to us. This isn't too hard to fix, and it's the reason I'm leaving a 4-star review. I think the problem remains unsolved in part because they're incentivized to push people to buy the Premium package, which includes manual filtering by the agency.

- The system decided to show me places that were as far as 2 hours away from my workplace, even though my filter was set on 1.5 hours. This is mostly a matter of user experience, and Relocify must allow users to draw a hard line, saying that under any circumstances, I don't want my commute to be longer than X. Treating users' filters as a mere suggestion isn't the best solution.

- Having a filter on corporate housing would be nice. I'd imagine Relocify's customers are mainly relocating from abroad, and no immigrant can actually apply to those properties. They do actually flag those kinds of places, but still show them to the user for some reason.

Best service for relocation

First of all, we would like to thank Fjori, Yulia, and Robin for their support during our process with Relocify.

Within a month, they found suitable houses for our family of four, and we reviewed all of them. Managing this process before arriving in the Netherlands is not easy, so I definitely recommend Relocify.

They have a constantly improving mobile app, a representative who supports you quickly, and a housing portfolio based on your search filters. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth the money.

Shitty service, not recommended

If you burn your money, at least you'd save your time

Service is way too expensive for nothing, you pay several hundreds of Euros just on viewings, there are absolutely no guarantees that any amount you pay is going to eventually get you a place, and the workers are incentivized to eventually just have you pick poor properties for above-market prices from a very small subset of the market, worst part? It doesn't even save you any time, which would be the least expectation given the pricing. You're better off browsing the same sites Relocify pools from, Funda, Pararius, ...etc
