Not sure if you are aware but it turn out Regus had been operating without the necessary permits since 2015? In Izmir Turkey (Bayrakli Branch).
Our office was abruptly shutdown (by the Government) in August 2024, and is still closed. We cannot go to our office or use them, now they are supposedly re-opening and no compensation what so ever is being provided.
In fact they've emailed me a contract renewal with an increase of 100% to both my offices. My third office contract actually ended within the period that they've been shutdown. So of course when I go to hire my third room that's gonna come an additional 100% increase too I guess?
I have tried to resolve this with my community team, contacting help desk and contacting the country manager who balantly refuses to contact me. (I have never once had communication with her) Despite the legality all being in her name.
I've been with Regus since 2016, a loyal client for quite some time.
My problems honestly began only after you guys had some internal changes, where they flipped around our centre manager, promoted the CSR to sales and we haven’t had someone to deal with any of our internal issues here since then.
There has been no effort to resolve this matter, being the oldest client in this particular centre I'd expect some sort of special treatment. I constantly refer clients, I run 3+ offices and even offices in Sydney.
The Izmir treatment of Regus / IWG has been a nightmare.
Just to re-emphasize, I haven't been able to access my office for 5 months, and still cannot. Yet I'm being slugged with a 100% rental increase, when I'm clearly entitled to compensation.

After consultation with the local government, we agreed to temporarily close centre whilst additional documentation was completed; this process has been completed and we expect the centre to reopen this month.
We understand the inconvenience this caused you and other affected customers and are truly sorry for this.
In recognition of this unforeseen situation, we gave our customers the choice to cancel their agreement or continue with us without cost until the centre was reopened; you chose to remain.
We take renewals very seriously and ensure that the process, which is very simple, is communicated to customers upfront.
Renewals occur at the current market rate and pricing can be affected by external factors such as the local inflation rate; which is high in Turkey.
Your community sales manager has been in contact with you regarding your renewal and you need to confirm to her before the end of this month how you wish to proceed.
