They kept my faulty phone AND my money
I purchase a "Renewed" iPhone 15 via Amazon which failed within 3 months.
Took it to Apple and they diagnosed a hardware fault — and confirmed diagnostics showing it was already failing before I bought it.
The seller agreed in writing to a full refund, received the phone back (tracked and signed for), then refused to refund and demanded a "restocking fee" of up to 35% — which you cannot lawfully charge on faulty goods. They even claimed the returned phone was "damaged," then retracted that in writing.
Months later they hold both my device and my £370.
I've had to escalate to a Section 75 claim and a County Court claim.
Read the other reviews here — the same pattern (faulty phones, refunds refused, returns "not received") comes up again and again.
Check before you buy.
