My kitchen is over 20 years old, but is in excellent condition. However, its darkish brown colour made the room feel very dark, so I obtained three quotes for painting based on photos I sent: one company would hand paint everything, which would involve having the kitchen out of action for several days; the other two were for the same price, but that from Recreate Kitchens included VAT. The other did not so I signed with Recreate Kitchens.
The husband-and-wife team (the owners) showed a thorough knowledge of the construction of kitchen units. They worked with incredible speed to dismantle everything removable: a total of 22 doors, 14 drawer fronts and some shelves and side panels – all in one day. These were taken to their workshop to be spray painted with a two-part paint that sets to give a tough and hard – wearing surface.
Two weeks later, as arranged, they returned with the doors, drawer fronts, etc. all safely wrapped in cardboard. Their first job was to apply three coats of quick-drying paint to the areas they could not remove. By the end of the day the whole kitchen had been returned to normal, but looked so much cleaner and brighter, and with surprisingly little smell.
My wife and I are delighted with the result, and would recommend Recreate Kitchens to anyone wanting a refreshed kitchen without the expense of a total rebuild.

Recreate Kitchens were excellent to deal with from start to finish. Measuring up, advising on colour choice, removing and replacing kitchen cupboard doors. It all happened like clockwork and to schedule. The guys were really tidy and unobtrusive while working, and readily did a few little extra tweaks because our kitchen is a bit "quirky". We are thrilled with the outcome - total transformation. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The team (Jen, Darren, and Phil) have been super nice, efficient, helpful, and I’m super happy with my kitchen transformation. The matte spray finish is both flawless and hard-wearing, and the parts painted in situ also look fab. Having new plinths manufactured and fitted in the matching colour is also fab. So a great quality job and a lovely experience all round. Even my dog liked having Darren and Phil around :)

Was a little doubtful about using this company as it was a long way for them to travel my my home in Swansea. I am so glad we decided on them having spoken on the telephone firstly. I was very impressed with their professional attitude and their reassurance. Jen and Stuart arrived early evening, having been delayed completling a kitchen in Cardiff. That was absolutely no problem to them whatsoever. They left that evening with all the kitchen parts that were removable. They returned a few days later with the painted doors etc. How very impressed I was when i saw the finish on the items.
Having completed the refurbishment to our kitchen some hours later I was very very impressed with this company and in particular with Jen and Stuart. What a lovely couple and so professional.
I would recommend this company to anyone wishing to update their kitchen and would like to assure anyone having any doubts that this company have to be one of the best in the business.
For me this was the best way to update a kitchen with very little disturbance and no cupboards to empty. Having our kitchen ripped out and a new one fitted with all that entailed, not including the cost, was a non starter but this option was first class.

I had my kitchen spruced up with recreatekitchens because it was looking shabby but I didn't want to end up contributing more waste to landfill dumping everything and getting new cabinets. Someone in my block of flats had had their kitchen done by them and so I decided to contact them too.

Jen was extremely responsive (to the point I wanted to suggest she needs a better work-life balance) and the team was very self-sufficient (hard to explain what I mean here but they just had common sense as a team and got everything done without needing a lot of hand-holding). They matched a random green shade I liked and my whole kitchen looks really smart now. Prices don't seem to have gone up despite Brexit and cost of living and the price I was quoted was the price I paid even though I delayed starting the work by 8 months, a little bit of extra work was done etc. I would really strongly recommend them to anyone looking to renew their kitchen.

From start to finish we had a great service from Jen and the team, very happy with the end result.

Recreate have done a really wonderful job at painting and revamping our tired old kitchen.
I gave them a sample of pelmet as a colour sample and they matched it perfectly.

What a great company they did exactly what they said they would. Jen in the office was great at emailing straight back with any queries we had and Andrew and Rosie took no time at all to take our tired, looking cupboards doors and pelmets away. Soon Andrew and his team were back to refit my lovely new blue cupboard doors. They were very careful when masking up the kitchen to finish off the paint job and it all looks beautiful.
I can’t recommend Recreate Kitchens enough, although we had to wait a while for the work to start. It was definitely worth it. After all good family firms who do such an excellent job are bound to have a full order book. Thank you again for a great job.

We had all our kitchen doors and 4 drawer fronts took off due to the coating bubbling same with 3 wardrobe doors the coating was took of them and then sprayed but the paint was bubbling so they tried 3 times before they had to bin all of them they then got us all new ones as their expense they did a fantastic job the work men were fantastic no mess we would 100 pecnt recermend them so if you have any doors that need some loving care this is the firm to call
