Great work from first enquiry to final sign off
Work done:
16 solar panels on a 3 storey building with inverter, battery storage and emergency power supply.
Timescale:
4 months though 2 and a half were discussions and my decision making.
Install took a day and a half
From initial discussions with Recharge Renewables (RR) to final sign off I have been very impressed. I'm quite technically minded so the home visit allowed me to ask all the questions I needed to. After that any emails were answered quickly or someone would hop on a phone to talk to me. Options were made clear. Decisions were made and away we went.
Scaffolding went up after some discussion as it is very difficult to get access to the back garden. Decision quickly made that all of the work could be done from scaffolding only at the front.
The day of the install was fantastic. Everyone did their thing with little input from me apart from supplying beverages on what was a very hot day! A couple of options were sorted quickly such as the location of the EPS and some wiring options. Minimal disruption to me as I work from home. Any power outages were agreed in advance so really convenient.
Post install we had a couple of issues connecting to the monitoring and control tech but RR lead on resolving that with Solis, the equipment manufacturer. I was given clear instructions on what were my tasks to do such as talking to the power company. Everything else was smoothly handled by RR.
I'm not sure it could have gone better and would highly recommend RR
