Stay in Windermere

Stayed in Windermere for 5 days and loved the house. Thoughtful little touches throughout the house - beautiful shower gels, handwash and shampoos in all the showers and bathroom/ nice art work linking to the local area/ very comfy sheets and fluffy towels/ games and toys for the children (and adults!) - and a nice welcome basket in the kitchen with very tasty treats which were finished within the week! We liked the location with its marvellous garden and tree swing and we enjoyed exploring the local area. I would stay again without hesitation.

amazing weekend in Helmview

We had amazing weekend in Helmview. The house was perfect and had everything we needed, the hot tub and summer cabin were the icing on the cake. The location was perfect, easy access to Grasmere and surrounded by walks/lakes - loved that we didn’t need the car from arrival to departure.
RandH easy to book with, really responsive to any questions, loved the welcome basket and house/location orientation info was excellent. Couldn’t fault them!

Great weekend in a lovely house

The house was lovely, perfect for our family group of 11. Plenty of space, nicely decorated and absolutely spotless. The property was very well equipped and the large garden was great for the children and full of entertainment for all ages!

The team at RandH were very easy to deal with and very responsive and helpful from booking through to arrival and departure, making the whole thing a very enjoyable experience.

Highly recommended.

The Retreat in Ambleside

We had a lovely stay at The Retreat in Ambleside.
The property was fantastic and Retreats and Hideaways couldn’t have been more helpful.

Wonderful 4 days staying at the little…

Wonderful 4 days staying at the little fold in Ambleside. The house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and cosy. Just a short distance from the town, the house was surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hot tub was a big plus and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise which we enjoyed thoroughly. Would highly recommend the little fold and would definitely stay again.

A fantastic stay with R&H in Ambleside!

A fantastic stay with Retreats & Hideaways last weekend in Ambleside - the property was gorgeous, immaculately clean and well-equipped. Communication with the host was excellent and the welcome hamper was a really nice bonus. Will be booking again!
