My daughter has been with Puddleducks since she was 10 weeks old and we’ve both loved our swimming journey. She is now 3 and her water confidence and swimming ability is amazing! The teachers are fantastic, they go at your child’s pace, the classes are small and really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

We love Puddle Ducks! My son has had two swimming teachers, Trudie and Mandy since he was 9 weeks old (he is now 10 months). Both Trudie and Mandy are supportive and engaging, and all lessons truly are social, fun and informative. We look forward to swimming days each week! I have learnt so much about personal survival and my son will take this with him forever, not just in the water but on ground too. His confidence and social skills have grown massively in the past few months and it makes us so proud as parents to see. Thank you Trudie and Mandy!

We have been attending Puddleducks at Stratford Manor for nearly 18months with our son and he is so confident in the water. The teachers we have had have been amazing, Ruth & Jo have been incredible and supportive. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get their little ones water confident and have fun!

Very friendly staff who are flexible and accommodating of little one’s needs. Office staff are tremendously helpful, and being able to skip sessions and arrange additional sessions is a real bonus!

Do not buy in to the lies on their page
This class is not suitable for beginners. They say they will tailor the experience to your child's level, but is is a set program. Also they don't care if your child is not a swimmer yet. My son has lost all confidence and afraid of water now.

The swimming lessons are really good and our son enjoyed them for the short time we attended them. However when our circumstances changed and we decided to stop going to the classes, we were charged for two more lessons we couldn't attend due to their 30 day cancellation policy. Despite the good experience with the classes this left a bad impression of the company, as just money grabbing. A shame, as otherwise we had a good experience, frustrating that they have such a policy in place for a children's swimming lesson, it just seems wrong.

We love our swimming lessons! Donna is amazing with my son. Plus she's super friendly and knowledgeable, I feel very confident in the water with my Son.

We have been attending for 6 months and love Puddleducks. Callie is super friendly and engaging, there is always a welcome at reception too. The pool and changing rooms are very clean and warm at Knights Lodge. My little one is now very confident in the water and looks foward to his sessions.

Absolutely brilliant. My son has a make teacher who seems very experienced and is fantastic teacher, he seems to get the most out of the children every time and my child responds very well to his teaching style. I’ll definitely recommend these classes to anyone.

I took my son to puddleducks in Spondon as soon as he was old enough. The teacher was lovely and seemed experienced. However I found the classes very expensive and I think the pool was a bit cold for my baby.

I've taken my son to swimming lessons since he was just weeks old, and, due to moving, have tried several providers. Puddle Ducks is far and away my favourite - the lessons push children without removing the fun, they're packed full of activities without being rushed, and the teachers take the time to know each child thoroughly. I truly cannot recommend them enough - I just wish I'd have found them sooner. Brilliant. If you're considering booking, I promise you won't regret it!

We really wanted our baby to start swimming as soon as possible and there are a number of companies locally (Oxfordshire) at the same (high) price bracket. We chose Puddleducks when he was around 4 months because the pool was closest at a local hotel. The instructors have all been amazing, and we really enjoy it. He still goes at 2 years old - though we probably could have paid our mortgage off with the amount we've spent! Unfortunately we often get messages very last minute to say lessons are cancelled - for example 2 of the last 4 have been cancelled. This is NOT strictly Puddleducks fault as it's because the pool has "not met the standards for the day" but remains extremely frustrating when you're looking forward to it and have to change plans for the day. Once or twice we've not even seen the message in time. But Puddleducks then have the cheek to say they have given you a "courtesy lesson" because of this. This is not a "courtesy" - this is the lesson owed that you have already paid for which THEY cancelled. You get a limited time to book this "courtesy" and it can be tricky to find a class that fits with work etc. and they are only release a week ahead. There has been a recent new manager lately and I think we were told me would just get our money back instead, which is preferable. However we have also had numerous messages about their payment system and I think there's been a glitch - we have had an apology but the messages continue. I have had to update the card details repeatedly. But none of this puts us off. We still go and his little face when he gets in the pool makes it worth it!

We are loving the classes! Head office were so helpful with getting us started, and the classes are so much fun for my 6month old boy. Definitely recommend!
Only criticism would be that there are no baby changing facilities in the changing room.

We love puddle ducks! We have been going since my now 15 month old was 3 months old and we couldn’t recommend it enough! We swim with north West Midlands and all the swim teachers we have had and all the office staff have been amazing! Big shout out to Gemma who is definitly my daughter favourite!

We attend the Strathmore installations and we love it. Our teacher Andy is super fun, patient and focuses in giving each kid the attention they need. my little one is learning these paramount life skills while having fun! We totally recommend Puddle Ducks

Lily absolutely loves it! she is only 6 weeks old now and we have been twice both times with Diana as the teacher and she has been so patient with me as holding a wiggly little baby is hard. I cant wait to watch Lily's swimming skills to improve and watch her grow into a water baby!

I recently attended the baby swimming class with my 4-month-old daughter, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, I felt very well taken care of — both the lady who welcomed us and the instructor were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive.

The class itself was amazing! My daughter and I enjoyed our first day so much — it was fun, engaging, and made us both feel very comfortable in the water.

However, the only downside for me was the changing area. It’s really small, with only two changing beds and very little space or privacy for parents to change as well. There’s also just one bathroom with a mat on the floor to change your baby, which isn’t very practical.

Considering the price we pay for the classes, I think it would be fair to expect a bit more space and comfort in the changing facilities.

I had been looking into taking my son swimming for a while, when Puddle ducks reached out to offer us a free trial! That was perfect as meant we didn’t have to commit straight away. I was a bit nervous but was made to feel so comfortable during the first session. My Son ABSOLUTELY loved it and it was a no brainer to sign up. The team kindly reserved a spot for us and gave us a couple days to make the decision on joining.
It’s been a perfect bonding experience for me and my son now that I have gone back to work, we now look forward to doing swimming together on Fridays 🥰

The team at the Newport puddle ducks branch are outstanding. The instructors have really put my daughter at ease after she lost all of her confidence in the water during her experience with her last swimming lessons. They are really friendly and fantastic with the kids. Would recommend to anyone.
