To be friendly in Thailand can make you lose money :
Property Scout wrote to me
that the owner asked for more money,
since it was long time until I was planned to move in the condo.
I was friendly and wanted to help the owner.
So I transfered extra money.
You can risk much when do this in Thailand :
When I cancelled the booking, I lost this money.

because we was not agree about the contract.
I going to write more about this later on.

Property Scout also lied :
The owner never asked for more money.

Why should Property Scout ask for more money to the owner, when the owner not asked for more money ?
Planned Propert Scout to behave in a way for make me cancel the booking ? Then could take this extra money.

I lost more money, because I wanted to help and trusted on Property Scout.
Is this Thailand ?

The case was at the police :
Have the police looked on who have the right for the extra money I transferred ? Property Scout or the owner of the condo.
I asked my agent here where I rent :
My deposit are in the owner of the condo bank account !
Is the police behavior in the case here the reason
why there are much scams in Thailand ?
I see a fairness here :
Much scams can lead to risky country to invest in.
Then less investing. Then less money to the official Thailand. Then the boomerang can come back to the police as low salery.
Fair for not stop scam ?

My case was first rejected at the police.
Then is went later in day registered
after my police educated friend took contact with the police.
Is it fair that I alone at the police shall be rejected,
but registered after my police educated friend took contact with the police ?

Later on I will also write about what Property Scout wrote about me as a Norwegian compair to a Thai.
Is this legal to do in Thailand ?

My clear advice is to never transfer money
before accepted and signed the completely contract.
If you transfer the money first then you risk lose the money,
if you not accept the contract later on.

Where is the consequen analyse from the Property Scout ? :
If only one person after read this chose to use another agent, they risk lose much more money than I paied extra.
Why then be so stabborn
and not only transfer back the extra money ?
Is this a result about a stabborn thai,
that many foreigner joking about ?

My experience with Property Scout made me change my plan
for use of money in Thailand for future.
I calculated that this minimum will be a loss from me to Thailand as much as minimum over 2 000 times more
than the extra moneyI payed to them.
I now going to use minimum 40 million baht less in Thailand.
That means move back to Norway later on.
First start with use 1 800 baht less every day.
In 9 days I used less money as the extra money I lost.
When moved back Norway I not use 4 000 baht here every day.

I would anyway lose the extra money.
I was stupid listen to a lie and wanted to help.
Am I the person who are a loser here ?
Is it normal here that the deposit money
are in the bank account to the owner of the condo ?
Then the Thai owner is the loser ?

Property Scount can believe / feel that they have won over me.
Here is only Thai losers :
Is the extra money I transferred,
the money to the Thai owner of condo ?
Is it not criminal that Property Scout
have this extra money in their account ?
Thai owner of condo lose here ?

From now on I not going to help any Thai with money if they ask.
Thai lose again ?

I use 40 million baht less in Thailand.
This can be over 2 times more that all the 5 000 US solidiers coming to use in Pattaya 2. to 4. September.

I never going to transfer my savings in Norway from trading the stock marked, for use in Thailand.

When the Property Scout lie about 15 k baht,
did they then do a fantastic good conseqvense analyse ?

Stay away !
If you use Property Scout you risk lose your deposit.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience renting through this tenancy management company.

Following the passing of my father, we had to return to our home country earlier than expected. We acted responsibly by giving 60 days' notice, paying for the additional half month that we stayed, and settling all outstanding costs. We also paid an extra 10,700 THB for air-conditioner repairs and other requested expenses before moving out.

When we left, the property was clean, well maintained, and there was no damage beyond normal wear and tear. Despite this, our 40,000 THB security deposit was not returned. We were given no reasonable justification for the deposit being withheld, even after we had paid all requested charges.

As tenants, we made every effort to meet our obligations, communicate openly, and leave the property in excellent condition. Unfortunately, this was not reflected in the way we were treated at the end of the tenancy.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this tenancy management company. I hope they improve their transparency, fairness, and communication with future tenants regarding security deposits and end-of-tenancy procedures.

This platform allows real estate agents to scam tenants out of their security deposits and does nothing to find a solution, not even a message to the real estate agent who continues to work with them on their platform.

It has now been one full month since I moved out on March 12 and my deposit has still not been returned.

This delay is completely unacceptable. I have fulfilled all my obligations as a tenant, left the apartment clean, and provided all the information your company requested. Despite this, the refund has still not been processed.

The continued delay in returning my money is causing serious financial inconvenience. Being a foreign resident does not mean I do not depend on my money.

If the full deposit is not transferred to my bank account within 3 days, I will proceed with filing a formal complaint with the Office of the Consumer Protection Board against PropertyScout and will also pursue further legal action.

I understand that the person responding to me may not be responsible for this situation, so I ask that this message be forwarded to the appropriate manager or decision maker.

I expect this matter to be resolved immediately.

I have left my apartment spotless and left a brand new printer and useful items for the landlord or next tenant. Three weeks later I am still waiting for my deposit on chasing up people at property scout, they managed to negotiate a number of items that the landlord wanted to charge me for to be taken off the deduction. I have now received my refund. Generally I have not had any issues with the company when I have had to contact them previously. I would however ask if they could try to hurry up landlords in returning deposits and reason with them about what they want to charge tenants for. Thanks

Anfrage wegen einem Condo in Bangkok. für 26000. Viele Condos wurden mit bis zu 30000 ausgeschrieben, plötzlich behaupten sie nur ab 50000 zu vermitteln. Anscheinend vermieten sie auch nur für 1 Jahr. Alles nur Lockangebote

This company unfortunately steals tenants deposits and refusing to help when landlords charge unrealistic fees. There are much better agents with integrity out there - use this company at your own risk and be ready for the end of lease 👍🏻

I want to share our experience with PropertyScout because it’s important for other tenants to know how they operate when things go wrong.

After an earthquake, we exercised our right to end the lease based on a clear clause in the contract. That’s when the problems began.

They ghosted us for days. No help. No access to the landlord, even though we had been paying him directly. Once they finally replied, all the messages felt copy-pasted and pointless.

After weeks of pushing, they offered to return our deposit, but only if we deleted all reviews. When we asked for that in writing, they backed out again.

It’s been over 8 weeks since we asked to terminate. Still no refund, still no real help. Just delays, excuses, and wasted time. Be very cautious about trusting them with your rental.

From the moment of the first contact with them, I have been perfectly taken care off and was presented with a fitting choice of potential properties.

Can't recommend highly enough!
