The staff in your Bridgewater shop are absolutely fabulous. They're so helpful. They got the way to be kind to you. I can carry my little dog in there which is quite rare in shops. All in all a good experience 😀

Friendly helpful staff at Frome store , always willing to help ,from showing you where items are in store ,to assisting with heavy items to the car. Good selection of items and well laid out , will shop here again

Recently went into Proper Job to get just a handful of screws for decking. Unaware what screws were needed and spoke to an older shop assistant who quite frankly was rude and condescending. I'm not an expert of decking, but needed a hand, and speaking to this man was not a pleasant experience. He certainly needs to address his people skills and customer service. Awful service, even when I thank him for his crap help he was very patronising . All he was concerned about was screws messed up by other people who had been looking at screws.

I found the staff friendly and helpful at all times. I’m a regular now.. Buying that odd item in hardware that you need, eg. Screws or washers rather than multiples at bigger diy stores. Good prices as well.

I have recently become a regular customer at Proper Job in Radstock. I wanted to say how impressed I was with your variation of stock and your really pleasant and helpful staff. They all must of had very good training. Thank you.

I love going into Proper Job because it is a no frills approach & emphasis on excellent prices which are difficult to beat elsewhere. My local store in Brislington has a touch of nostalgia about it as well which is great because I'm not a big fan on this modern day nonsense. Keep up the excellent work Proper Job!

This is about the security man at the Weston Super Mare store. Unfortunately his application to the job was lacking after lumbering down the aisles like a demented bear raised from hibernation he starting jabbering about stopping people stealing. When I pointed out that he had just been sleeping which was not the best way to do it he started blubbering like a demented simpleton.

I ordered some painting sets for my little boys party expecting dinosaurs/ space and pirate designs. We received some gorgeous mermaid, princess and fairies instead. I contacted the company by telephone and they sent me a returns label and offered to either refund or repost the design I had expected. They even went one better and allowed me to choose a specific design.

My children are over the moon that their party packs will be exactly in keeping with the theme of their party, as am I!

I highly recommend Proper Job for product quality, price, and customer services.

If I could I would give -5/5 as the service here is awful they are rude and dont do Their jobs at all

Visited yesterday for a few essentials, I'd like to say how helpful and friendly all of your staff are, especially the lady on the checkout, nice to feel unhurried and have a chat, great customer service 👏👏

Employee serving was not interested in a defective product and would not even listen to the problem.
Don't bother using this shop.
Cheap products that you can't take back when they don't work.

I love browsing in Proper Job and recently visited the Gloucester store on a dreary wet day. As usual, I bought more than I actually needed. At the check out I was greeted by Bobby. I have to say he was so incredibly cheerful and helpful. He certainly lifted my mood. Thanks Bobby

I normally have a great experience in proper job, but this afternoon, while visiting the Frome Proper Job, I dealt with quite an unpleasant employee. She was working on checkout, and as she picked up the hair gel I was buying, looked me up and down and said that she wouldn't use that on her hair in a million years. I replied with oh right, and she then looked at me again as she scanned it through, and said 'your hair will fall out in a few days, mark my words'. The girl seemed about mid 20's to me, with blonde/brown hair. I'm 21, and found it so so so uncomfortable and rude.

I love going in proper job, best customer service I have ever had. Always helpful and friendly. Lots of different items with a lot of choice at good prices. I always spend a lot in here. It’s One of my favourite shops and always tell everyone how great it is and what I have bought.

I have just returned from a visit to Proper Job Eastern Ave Gloucester,i am so delighted with the service i received from customer service assistant Bobby,this man showed me great kindness,politeness and made my experience in store great.I will be back in store soon.
