We would highly recommend Fergus. He recently completed the painting work as part of our attic conversion, and we were really happy with the result. This is actually the second time we’ve used Fergus, which says a lot about how pleased we were with his work the first time.
He is reliable, professional, tidy and takes great pride in his work. Everything was finished to a really high standard, and the attention to detail was excellent. It’s great to find someone you can trust to do a really good job, and we would have no hesitation in using Fergus again or recommending him to anyone looking for a painter.

From his initial visit to view the proposed job, to the completion of the work, Fergus was thoroughly professional and a complete pleasure to deal with. He engaged with the proposal from his arrival, offering very valuable advice and a practiced eye. His quotation was detailed and transparent, his pricing extremely competitive, and the standard of preparation and painting was excellent, with real attention to detail throughout.
What particularly impressed me was that Fergus didn't simply come to quote for a painting job. He took the time to discuss the house with me, offered thoughtful suggestions based on years of practice and experience and was genuinely engaged in choosing the right colour scheme for the house. I followed his recommendations and I am absolutely delighted with the result.
Fergus was reliable, knowledgeable and meticulous, and clearly takes considerable pride in his work. The whole experience, from quotation to finished job, displayed quality and inspired confidence. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using him again or recommending him to anyone looking for a first-class professional painter and decorator.

Absolute fantastic quality of work. Would highly recommend Pro Painting.

Great service from start to finish. Always arrived on time, excellent attention to detail, nothing too much trouble & quality finish to all work done. Fergus is very professional & I would have no hesitation in recommending Pro Painting & Decorating. Caroline, kildare

Fergus is amazing at what he does. With an excellent attention to detail. He even picked the colours in the end & we couldn’t be happier. Thanks Fergus :)

Fergus did an amazing job painting and decorating our house. He was very easy to deal with, quick to respond to messages and left the house very clean. We were away while he was painting and he made sure our house was safe and secure. A pleasure to deal with and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Fergus is a man of his word, on time and clean as a whistle. Fergus has worked in our home before and we would not hesitate to highly recommend him.
This time after some home improvements, Fergus painted several rooms, hall and landing areas. Work was excellent, going above and beyond for a superb finish. Thanks Fergus!!

reliable, efficent, very clean and tidy, great attention to detail (have had him a few times now, always an excellant job), a really lovely person to deal with, would 100% recommend, thanks Fergus

Fergus recently completed three weeks of painting and decorating our home.He went above and beyond as we had a lot of damage to walls and ceilings etc following last year's storm so it wasn't an easy task! But no problem to Fergus!
Very professional from initial consultation to advise and choice of colours to a definite start date and exact finish date!
I am absolutely delighted with the work and colour choice. Our home has been transformed back to life.
I would highly recommend Pro Painting and Decorating. A1+

Fergus painted our kitchen and two bedrooms and did an excellent professional job. We needed a lot of preparation done on the walls where cracks had appeared and old picture hooks had left holes. He sorted all this out for us and the rooms now look perfect. Highly recommend.

Absolute flawless job. Left the apartment like new. Would highly recommend Fergus and Pro Painting for a clean and efficient job.

If you are reading this and thinking there's something wrong nobody deserves that many 5 STAR reviews! You'd be right. I reckon all the other reviewers would add STARS here if that were an option. Like a lot of others we're returning customers of Fergus again this year. He's an absolute professional with the most amazingly high standards for his work. Don't believe the 5 STAR reviews they under-sell Fergus, he's is a 6 STAR painter

Second time to have Fergus complete work for us, great finish, always punctual, neat & tidy, highly recommend.

This was our 3rd time to use Fergus. Once again we were completely happy with his work. He is very professional in his whole approach from quotation to undertaking the contract. He is punctual, polite and an extremely neat worker with great attention to detail.

Fergus demonstrates a high level of professionalism and takes considerable pride in his work. As a returning client, I was very satisfied with the quality of the job Fergus delivered, and appreciated his valuable input regarding colour scheme suggestions.

We recently hired Fergus to paint the living room, kitchen, hall stairs and landing along with all the doors and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, he was professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

The prep work was meticulous, ensuring clean lines and a flawless finish. He took great care to protect our furniture and floors, and he left everything spotless when the job was done. The paint job itself is smooth, even, and exactly the colour we envisioned.

Beyond their technical skills, Fergus was punctual, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. He communicated clearly throughout the process and completed the job on time. If you’re looking for a skilled and reliable painter, I highly recommend Fergus for any painting project!

We contacted Pro Painting & Decorating last year to have them paint a couple of bedrooms and were so pleased with the job that we decided to paint the rest of the house. Fergus helped suggest some colours and they've all turned out beautiful. He clearly loves what he does and takes so much pride in his work, every tiny detail is so perfect and smooth. He is also just a lovely person and delightful to have around. Highly recommend!!

We recently got Pro Painting & Decorating to decorate our sitting room, and paint the hall and kitchen ceilings. Fergus is professional, trustworthy and has an excellent knowledge of colours. We didn't know what colour we wanted to change our sitting room to. It was so dark, Fergus recommend what would go well and there is just a huge transformation. The room is so bright. We will be getting more work done in the future and will be getting Fergus without a doubt.

I’ve absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fergus, in fact I would highly recommend him to anyone. He’s extremely reliable, professional, diligent, clean, highly skilled and really does his work with passion. The last four weeks has been a joy to see my house being transformed by him. Wish you all the best in the future Fergus! Lorraine and Erica.

Great work by Fergus, his second visit to our home. Always very helpful with advice and communicates efficiently. Job well done, we look forward to our next painting adventure.
