Great company to deal with good communication and explained everything thoroughly the engineer that came to fit my boiler was great tidy and professional all went very smoothly

Mark arrived on time and was friendly and knowledgeable.

Very good from start to finish.Every thing explained and gone through and checked when the site visit was carried out.
The team that did the installation were very good and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Work was done very professionally and a very good tidy up when all the work had been compleated.

Great business, highly recommended, great experience from start to finish , stress- free!!!!At first we had a video call with the lovely Ralph who gave us a very competitive quote,we booked the installation with the office and that was that, we chose the date( in 4 days), the 2 lovely engineers arrived at 10 am and the boiler was up and running at 3 pm, a quick, easy, tidy job. There was a little mix-up with the timer but it was sorted the very next morning.
They answer emails very promptly and they have service plans for the boilers too.
All in all we would highly recommend them.

Boiler was installed March 2025 after video call and a competitive quote. Hive themostat installed as part of the installation.
Once new boiler was installed the heating did not seem to be as warm as old boiler/thermostat. Contacted prime and they sent someone out,measured the heat of radiators and said I have old radiators so that is why. But house has been much warmer with old boiler.
Following winter 25/26 I noticed huge damp patch on back of house behind boiler location. Emailed primetime who did send someone out. Turns out the pipes had not been installed correctly so water was leaking into brickwork. This was fixed.
Continued to have cold winter, with heating boost not working and house not being warm.
Today had plumber come out to fix a radiator pipe before winter again. When he tested the heating, he found the Hive had not been installed correctly and the old thermostat was still wired in, rather than being by passed. He said this explains why the boost never seemed to work and heating only seems to work with hot water. He corrected this.

Overall there were two major issues with the installation of my boiler and thermostat.
My advice is get a local reliable plumber to install new boiler, not these cowboy companies. Looking forward to heat this winter!

The efficiency and communication of the staff. The fitter was excellent! Polite, easy to talk to, explained everything he was doing, always on time. Very tidy, great with my dogs, he made the whole experience easy, a really nice person.

The price was very competitive

The engineer communicated very well on estimated time of arrival for appointment He was very polite and asked if it was ok to wear shoes in the house. He was very helpful in asking me if I had any questions regarding the heating system. Appeared to be very thorough and good at his job.

Prime time Solar installed my solar system. The whole process went nice and smooth. Conor and Chris who installed the cabling and equipment did it extremely nice and tidy. Truly recommended.

We had solar panels, a battery and inverter installed by Prime Solar in August 2026, following an impressive sales pitch, competitive pricing and generally good reviews on Trustpilot.

While the initial sales and engagement were good and the installation was professional and efficient, the post sales communication and customer service was sadly disappointing.

There was a lack of proactive communication and attention to detail that could have helped clarify and reassure us throughout the process. Calling with questions made us feel like a nuisance — and as someone who prefers to avoid unnecessary contact with businesses, that's really something I don't like doing.

Ultimately, we wouldn't particularly recommend this company based on our experience, as there are plenty of alternative installers to choose from. That said, they did get the job done at a competitive price — so if you do go with them, make sure you do your research, as I'm not convinced they had our best interests at heart.

I had a video survey in preparation for my quotation. The guy was clearly very experienced and gave me some additional advice over and above what I expected. The quote was competitive once other firms added in "extras" and I negotiated a smallish discount from PTB. Although still not the cheapest overall, I had more confidence in PTB.
Contact with the Office to check a couple of details and book installation was pretty efficient.
The engineer who came to fit our LPG boiler (it was a pretty simple like-for-like job) was on-time and ready to go. Delivery of he boiler itself was a little late but he kept busy doing prep work. Fitting was neat and tidy and completed in a day. The engineer was a direct employee of the Company, was very personable and happy to explain to me what he was doing. One little thing was missed (routing the washing machine discharge pipe) but I fixed this myself.
I'm still awaiting the registration paperwork but the Office tells me that this can take 6 weeks.
I didn't get any follow up calls (as I was told I would) but as things went well and the boiler is working as it should, I didn't really mind. What I have had, however, is numerous emails and texts encouraging me to sign up for a maintenance contract! I don't need this as I have an excellent local engineer who will do my annual inspection and survey. All in all this has been a good experience worthy of four and a half stars.

We had solar panels fitted by prime time boilers. What I really like from the company was the personal touch given, I had a key contact during the project, we talked through my use and future possibilities before they put a design proposal together. With the personal touch given I had a single point of contact to ask any questions too, they were very available.

Obviously we got a few quotes before deciding on which company to use. We found their pricing very competitive to what they was offering.

The install went off without a hitch. Friendly installation crew, very respectful of property. End results, looks a well done installation - clean and tidy,

They gave me a run down on the app for monitoring the product.

I’m very happy, already had a couple of people ask me about the panels and I’ve been happy to recommend prime time.
