Reporting the to the BBB
I don’t even know where to begin with Premier Infusion. This has been one of the most infuriating, exhausting, and absurd healthcare experiences I’ve ever dealt with.
A month and a half ago, I contacted them because they’re in-network with my insurance. I very specifically asked whether they administer Venofer (IV iron), because MANY infusion centers in Los Angeles do not. They told me yes. I didn’t just trust one person — I confirmed multiple times with different staff members to make sure there wouldn’t be an issue. Every time, I was told yes.
From the start, their customer service has been terrible. The staff consistently have an attitude. They don’t answer calls. They say they’ll call you back — and then never do. Every interaction feels condescending, like you’re inconveniencing them for asking basic questions about your own medical care.
Then the real nightmare started.
When my OBGYN first sent my referral, they declined it because my address was out of date. Fine. Annoying, but fine. They told me my OBGYN needed to resend it with my updated address. My OBGYN did exactly that.
And then Premier Infusion claimed they never received it.
This turned into a completely ridiculous back-and-forth. I had my OBGYN resend the referral at least SIX times. Six. Every single time, Premier said they never received it. No explanation. No effort to figure out what was going wrong. Just “we don’t have it.”
Finally, my OBGYN called them directly, faxed the referral while on the phone, and stayed on the line until they confirmed receipt. A staff member named Jocelyn confirmed they had received the updated referral.
So I called Premier about an hour later — and they told me, yet again, that they hadn’t received anything.
I told them that was impossible because Jocelyn had literally just confirmed it. They put me on hold to “check,” came back, and said Jocelyn was now saying the same thing — that they never received it.
At that point, it felt like blatant gaslighting. Not just toward me, but toward my OBGYN’s office as well. Either there is an extreme level of incompetence happening internally, or someone is flat-out lying. There is no other explanation.
Every single staff member I’ve spoken to has been rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Not one person took ownership. Not one person tried to solve the problem. For a medical facility — where patients are already stressed and dealing with health issues — this level of disorganization and attitude is unacceptable.
This place is a mess. I will absolutely be reporting them to the BBB. Patients deserve professionalism and basic operational competence. I experienced neither.
