Treadmill is 3 years old and broke
Treadmill is 3 years old and broke. The setup was a nightmare with g&g fitness. Treadmill broke after 3 years of light use(about 4 miles a week). Deck broke...so now im waiting for the deck and motor to be shipped and g&g fitness to fix it. They have reschedule me so now its 2 months without a Treadmill. I will never buy another precor again
Only Order if You Want to Wait 6 Months for Delivery
I ordered an FTS Glide (cable weight system) on December 20, 2025. It's been 4 full weeks, and the only communication I've received from the company was when I reached out 2 weeks ago. The customer service rep was snarky and said, "The email says 4 to 6 weeks." I'm STILL waiting for a shipping notification, let alone for the equipment to be installed. If you order online, be prepared to go through a few credit card cycles and pay the balance before the order even ships from the warehouse.
Update 2/4/26: I'm still waiting for installation. The unit was finally shipped to the installer and arrived on 1/30/26, but the installer has not contacted me regarding installation.

We have a TRM 935 model and it broke down .
We paid on 16th Sept 2021 about USD 1,500 for an IFT Drive Module with a 3-year warranty.
On 25th Sept 2024 we called the local agent to inform them that the machine had broken down again.
A technician came a few days later and the agent told us the warranty had expired and now they wanted USD 2,350 for the same part.
It sounds like a scam to me or it's just a shit product ... USD 3,850 just to maintain a treadmill for 3 years??
The machine was used no more than 2 hours per week and had stayed idle for a few years.
Before Precor, we had a Life Fitness treadmill for 15 years and had never spent a penny on it until we gave it away. This machine was regularly used for 3 hours per week.

We only have the best things to say about our experience - from start to finish, Jason from Precor was responsive and ensured that I was able to complete the purchase in a timely manner. Jason answered every question in detail and reassured us on our 10K+ investment in gear. Jason also coordinated the delivery with a personal touch that was pretty much seamless for us, which was well over our expectations. Throughout the purchasing process, I thought there would be more built in headaches with transporting a commercial piece of gym equipment to a residential space but Precor and Jason made it seamless. And that was miraculous - given we live in a city apartment where it is hard to coordinate these sorts of things. I would 10/10 recommend buying via Precor again, and we will be buying any gear via Precor, especially with Jason Mercado, in the future.
Precor only wants your money
Precor chooses not to supply the materials needed to repair their machines. The machines may work well, but if they have problems, you have a very expensive paperweight. When contacted, they do not read your emails, do not listen to your conversation, and all in all do not care. I would NEVER advise anyone to purchase anything from this company.

I recently had a very disappointing encounter with Precor's customer support, and I feel compelled to share my experience. After purchasing a Precor treadmill, I encountered several issues with the machine within the first few weeks. Naturally, I reached out to Precor's customer support seeking assistance and resolution. However, the entire process turned out to be incredibly frustrating and unhelpful.
Firstly, getting through to a representative was a hassle. The wait times on the phone were absurdly long, and when I finally did speak to someone, they seemed disinterested and rushed. It was clear that they were following a script and had little knowledge beyond that.
Secondly, the support staff lacked competence. I was hoping to get some troubleshooting advice or even schedule a technician to come and inspect the treadmill, but all I received were generic and unhelpful responses. They seemed unable to comprehend the specific issues I was encountering, let alone provide meaningful solutions.
Moreover, the follow-up was practically non-existent. I was promised a call-back to discuss further steps, but it never happened. I ended up having to chase them multiple times, each time having to re-explain my situation to a different representative.
Lastly, when it came to addressing the warranty coverage for the repairs, I encountered more hurdles. Precor's warranty process was convoluted and seemed designed to discourage customers from actually utilizing it. I was made to jump through hoops and provide excessive documentation, only to be denied coverage in the end.
Overall, my experience with Precor's customer support was frustrating and left a lot to be desired. For a company that prides itself on quality fitness equipment, their after-sales support was shockingly inadequate. Dealing with them felt like a chore rather than a service. I'm deeply dissatisfied and would caution anyone considering a Precor purchase to think twice, especially if they value responsive and effective customer support.
Knowledgeable, Helpful Ordering Experieince
Ordered the Precor Knee Raise through Jason. Answered all questions thoroughly and gave me some helpful hints about product assembly. Great product - Great Service. If I want to order another product I will definitely return to Jason. 5 Star Experieince!

Precore software problems, before you buy one
I have been a member of the YMCA in San Diego for 4 years. The Y I go to has 40 - 45 various Precore cardio machines. One of the options that I had liked with the precore cardio machines is that each machine has it's own audio/video console so I can watch live tv/sports for me and I especially like that it has a browser so I use to be able to go to youtube and type in the song or album that I wanted. About 6 months ago the browser function on all of the precore machines at my Y began to fail this function about 80% of the time, so very frustrating and annoying. When I called precore I was told that their software is to old and now doesn't interface very well with Youtube and several other streaming services. Unknown if they will ever address this issue in the future. Of course I can probably use my phone or bring my tablet, etc for a work around but I shouldn't have to do that. If you are planning to purchase a precore cardio machine for you home, or office or fitness center. Be aware that their software isn't up date with many streaming services so you will not get what you pay for. Depending on your personal needs from a cardio machine you may want to strongly consider other fitness companies other than precore. As a consumer you should get what you pay for and precore doesn't advertise that they are having trouble with their out dated software.

They do not abide by Precor Corp website documents and policy stating that authorized dealers must provide authorized certified installers service tech. Jessica Customer Service from this company offered a non licensed non insured construction contractor instead of a licensed insured authorized certified installer. I contacted over 30 emails, texts phone calls in total and they refused to abide by the authorized dealer standards per Precor Corp's own docs which you can read yourself herein links, also Precor Corp's own customer service has refused to enforce that their authorized dealer requirements on the links included here for new precor treadmill must be installed by a authorized certified service installer:

Also do you see that the same customer support from this company in responses to other customers herein says the same thing that they have attempted several phone calls, well this is crock of crap they are covering themselves when in reality they refused to answer my over 30 correspondences and when they did respond they kept on insisting to send an unlicensed uninsured non authorized non certified installer which by Precor Corp own website is not permitted otherwise the Precor Warranty i s not valid.
Precor Corp customer service did not abide by their own corp policies, never offered a authorized cert installer upon request by the end user customer which their own website says if a customer needs a cert installer they would provide but did not which is the same issue with their dealer here Precor Home Fitness also refused to provide an authorized cert installer otherwise Precor Warranty specifically states if is not installed by a Precor Authroized Cert. installer the warrant is void whether you bought from Precor Corp or this so called authorized dealer Precor Home Fitness Aks Top Fitness.
Also, when you call their 888 customer number it is only a 3rd party offsite answering company-they cannot let you talk to a manager just take a message, I left 8 messages on that line and no one contacted me back. The Customer Mgr. Jessica at another location never resolved my issues after I sent 30 emails, texts, phone call communciations to them and this dealer should not be allowed to be called an authorized dealer. I wrote complaints to the owner ceo Precor home fitness where i bought the new treadmill, Precor Corp execs and their director of customer service never heard back from any.
Do not buy from Precor Corp and do not buy from Precor Home Fitness locations in USA - they both refused to provide authorized certified installers which is in their corporate documents links listed .

Precor's equipment is Horrible
Precor's equipment it’s not worth anything. I own a Precor Plate Loaded Chest Press. The Chest Press developed a crack in the Frame Welds. Not only is this a MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN it’s poor craftsmanship by Precor. The frame Cracked at the joints providing No Support.
I notified Precor and informed them of the issues and provided pictures of where the cracks were located, serial number of the machine, and address to where the machine was located. I informed Precor I wasn’t able to locate the original receipt that it was misplaced however, the machine was registered when it was purchased so they have all the necessary information needed to handle my complaint.
Precor won't honor nor try and resolve the issue. They continue to find one excuse after another as to why they won’t fix the issue with the frame being cracked.
Precor manufactures equipment that breaks down and when you contact them about issues with their equipment. Precor always tries to figure a way of not standing behind their products. This has become so repetitive with Precor and is the same issues other customer’s have complained about. Just look it up. The warranty provided with their equipment is non existent.

Mold infested equipment from a scammer company
I wish I would have listened to the other reviews before throwing away $1200 with this company. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had, both with the product itself, and the absolutely horrendous, nasty service from a company. This company sent a used product that was infested with toxic mold and mildew that contaminated my home and made our family sick from exposure. We had no choice but to throw it out after the one and only customer service rep told us it would take them a week to pick up. They hurt my child, infected our home, caused damage to our property, and had the audacity to keep my money and refuse a refund. This company is dangerous and operates like a scam, with only ONE customer service representative, who is completely unhinged. If you already spent your money, I am so sorry but don’t expect to get anything from it. If you haven’t, avoid these monsters at all cost

Problem is their complicated programming that needs an expert technician not the parts! If they can not send technicians somewhere they should stop selling their super expensive treadmills to those cities! I have wasted 5000$ On this treadmill . So disappointed
Bumpy beginning, customer service is trying to make it right

The customer service called me immediately and kindly tried to offer me some options to get me a bike sooner, unfortunately the bike I ordered is the only one that fit my criteria so I’m just going to need to wait it out. They also added free delivery and install in order to make things right. Things happen, I get it, it’s how a company handles issues that I feel is the most important. They’ve also changed their policy on items not in stock to call the customer to let them know. I’ll rereview this and bump up stars more once the bike is delivered and functional. So far I am happy with the individual I dealt with today (Brian) and he did go out of his way to try to fix the issue. Kudos

There was no indication the bike I ordered 9 weeks ago was back ordered, there still is no indication and it’s still “on sale” on the website. AFTER order I received an email stating 2-3 weeks. After a month I emailed them, no reply. I called and was told mine was shipping the next week. A few weeks later I email again. I’m being told now that they haven’t even manufactured them (2 more weeks) yet and I’m somewhere on the waitlist.

4x8 equipment mat no status
I ordered a two piece 4x8 mat to go under a treadmill I bought. I ordered the mat Dec 3, 2020, I knew delivery would be longer than usual, but it was ok because the people I ordered the treadmill from said it would be at least 40 days before I would receive it. I ordered the treadmill Dec 3 it came Jan 4 2021. precor delivered the wrong mat on Dec 22, 2020. It is Jan 5 2021 and I'm still waiting for my equipment mat with no status at all not even an email. I had to call yesterday and they still didn't have any information. I am glad I didn't purchase anything bigger than a 4x8 mat.
