Absolutely disgusting business. Goes into liquidation the day before payday and staff who have worked really hard not paid while the owner goes off to France.

Poppies Wirral absolutely disgraceful conduct. While the company goes into liquidation and staff are left fearing for their jobs and futures, the leadership thinks it’s acceptable to be off enjoying themselves in France. This shows a total lack of respect and responsibility toward loyal employees who gave their time and energy to the business.

Directors should be accountable, not disappearing or parading holidays while livelihoods are destroyed. Appalling behaviour and a clear warning to anyone considering involvement with this company.

Awful company - didn't listen to the needs of my family member, whose house they were cleaning. Upset my family member several times so we had to cancel their services 2 months ago. Just discovered they have still been taking payments from my family member's account! Thieves!

I've only given 2 stars (could've been zero) because the the company sent a young girl to do a close of tenancy cleaning with a bottle of Cif and a couple of rags. I asked her if her colleagues were coming with a vacuum cleaner, she said No just her, then asked her what are we going to do about the 1st floor being completely carpeted, she called the office, her boss told her they were not instructed to bring any tools of the trade, I informed her that I had been asked if a vacuum cleaner was going to be at the property (No, but there would be a mop & bucket for the ground floor, but nothing else) so then she tried to hand the phone to me (at her boss's request), told her I wasn't interested in speaking with him, to tell him I was grossly disappointed (she was clearly too afraid to repeat that to him) and that I was going to ask to neighbours if I could borrow a vacuum cleaner. He then told her to ask me if it was OK if she just used a brush to clean the carpet. THE ONLY REASON I'm giving 2 stars is because the young girl actually worked damn hard! She didn't say it but she was obviously embarrassed by the situation and did her best to make up for it. Don't know about their over all services, but not a great company for close of tenancy. At all.

Awful company. I used them for four months. The cleaner they supplied as my regular was truly wonderful. They're on the expensive side and were transparent as to why this is.
Unfortunately, those at the top are incompetent and the vulnerable need to beware. Many months after my final clean I receive an email claiming I owed them money. Incorrect but everyone makes mistakes so I went through my bank statements and dates and I responded with a comprehensive itemised list of services and payments. About a week later I receive another email from Richard claiming I still owe them money. By this point I was livid. I responded with a very angry email. All they needed to do was cross reference the details provided. Please make sure you keep your own detailed records. I dread to think how many vulnerable people may have paid them trusting Poppies records. Don't, you can't. (Wirral service)

Do not use! I’ve used several cleaners on the Wirral and Poppies charge the most per hour that I’ve used and do the least amount of cleaning per hour which makes them significantly more expensive than most. They do not take care of your property, leaving multiple stains, scuffs ans marks. They damaged a bespoke bookcase which was the final straw and I cancelled their services. I then had to pay for clean that was due after I cancelled that I never had! Avoid avoid avoid!!!

I was employed by Poppies of Wirral, my experience was the company ethos is to not pay their employees.
Richard the franchise owner threatened to take me to court if I didn’t pay him over £500 for breach of contract. There was never a breach and I won my wage. Please be aware as this was a very threatening letter and a lot of people would’ve of been scared and backed down. It stated in his letter that he often takes his ex employees to court and has “Extensive knowledge of the system” this is just about poppies of the Wirral franchise

Cleaners are good.I have two service ladies.Friendly and constant.I am disabled so these ladies are important to me.

I am the manager at coronation court in Ormskirk.
We have used poppies for several years.
The last five years we have had a cleaning lady called Marie, she is an excellent cleaner and is always very prompt time keeping, she always goes the extra mile if I need any help with anything. She is very friendly, professional and very thorough. The homeowners are also very fond of Marie and she is treated like one of the family here at the development. Keep up the good work Marie.

I have a lovely lady called Olimpia who comes regularly to clean my home.
Olimpia is reliable and always very friendly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and hard working cleaner.
