Shockingly bad.
They only do one thing. And they're shockingly bad at it. I haven't been able to deposit money paid to me from a company using this service for 7 days. I've waited twice for over 40 minutes for customer service and one of their people told me to call the company and ask them to send the money some other way - not kidding.

impossible to sign up and get your money
my payee has been using this for months to send me weekly fun money. suddenly this week at complete random popmoney said hey you need an account to get this money now. it is literally impossible to sign up for a new account on the website. you enter your routing number and you get a blank page 100% of the time. times like this is why there should be a 0 zero star option.

Locked out for no reason
For two months I have had issues with Popmoney. My most recent issue is they locked me out of my account. The representative at Popmoney had no idea why I was locked out. My bank forces me to use it. I complained to my bank with a recommendation to get rid of Popmoney.

Zero stars. Bullsh*t process controls keep locking my account without explanation or resolution, but I have no choice because my landlord requires that I use them. I'll be better off and save time paying my rent in hand delivered cash. F these people

Terrible... I did not set up an account yet someone else did, transferred money out of my account into multiple other accounts. I’m told that they are not liable and I have lost my funds... I don’t understand how someone else can set up an account in my name with out more information. I would almost just call them fraudulent.

Horrible. I will never use them again I will never recommend this way of money transfer. They froze my transfer and told me they do that to all first time users to avoid fraud. Kept it froze until I called them to release it. Then paid for faster deposit. Never got it early. Didn’t even get it based on there standard deposit time which is 24-48 hours. Horrible experience. Needed the money last week it’s been 7 days and still nothing. Customer service lady tried telling me it will be there in 24 to 48 hours and when I told her it’s been 7 days she had no idea what to tell me. Horrible
Quite the hassle when compared to Zelle.
I just sent money from the joint account that I share with my husband, to my own personal account. Since it was my first time logging in to popmoney, my account was frozen until I called customer service. After speaking with a representative, they said it would take up to 2 business days to clear. That will be 7 days from the date I sent it.
My bank, however, uses Zelle and not popmoney; so payment is quick and simple.
Arbitrary password restrictions
I don't recommend PopMoney because, at this moment, they arbitrarily limit password characters and length, which breaks any formula one might devise to create/memorize unique passwords -- otherwise we have to remember the arbitrary restrictions of each account for which we create passwords.
On the other hand, they had phone support available on a Sunday, and the rep was very nice.

Incredible bad service. Most of clerks are polite and respectful but they dont know basic information such they only acept US ID in order to receive money. Then money is on limbo until somebody reclaims it. It takes 10 days or more once you find out to get money back. Nobody lets you know until you call to find out that neither the sender has the money nor the recipient! Avoid this service and look for other more expirence and reliable such paypal etc...
Worst service slower than Sloths
I have Popmoney service offered through Genisys CU. I used the service this week and the worst financial services experince of my lifetime. I have called three times in the last three months yet my money transfer is not yet acted on. Each time I call the Phone system does not respond correctly to key prompts. Once you get the representative asks the same question twice, so you are inputting the same information 3 times. A good trick to discourage customer calls. My recommendation, avoid using the service if you can.
Your service not a wise recommendation as "Bill Pay" option
Your customer service phone 877-675-6378 does not give a ring tone, yet you heard someone pick-up the phone. Then for over 1 minute nothing is said.....horrible AI program or really shoddy customer service. When my money is returned (10 BUSINESS days, really up to 14 days] I will not use your service again. The recipient - whose name is I misspelled - does not accept it - wisely decided not to give their bank info. My bank is reputable but your service may not be a wise recommendation as part of their "Bill Pay" option....copying my bank with my comments.

I also would give this site a ZERO if I could. The first time I used it they locked my account stating I needed to verify my ID and banking. Ok - did that and still took 5 days. Next time - account locked need to do the same. But this time need to verify my banking through an email. No I’m not about to send an unsecured email with that information. I had already verified banking with them withdrawaling from it and posting it on their site. Called to see why it’s still locked and it’s another “yes I understand but to unlock your account you have to send in the information”. Feels like a scam. They already have my ID and banking info verified. There is absolutely no reason to ask for my banking information again. Sending an unsecured email with all my banking will not happen.

I tried to transfer money from one bank to another, both accounts belong to me. Luckily I did a test transfer, a minimum of five dollars was required plus 00.50 fee. The money was taken out ok. , but I have not been able to get it on the other end. I have this strange feeling that at some point they are going to charge me another fee because I can’t recover the 5.00 at the other bank.

Very bad experience with there service, very bad and rude customer service, customer servers representatives don’t know how to serve their customers and don’t know how to deal with problem when it rise, very bad system! They hold my money for about two weeks and at the end they send it back to the sender!! I don’t recommend to try their service!

This company is a scam. Do not use it. They ask all personal information including DOB, bank account and address. They don't want to pay. They put you on restriction and you have to call them. They ask further personal question and then they tell you they are opening case. You don't get your money the next 10 days if you are lucky or you have to call again and wait another 10 days. It's completely scam. Do NOT USE it.
