Top Class, again.
Both myself and my partner bought our glasses from pop specs. What would have cost me £600 at specsavers, cost me £300 at pop specs. I got mine a year ago. Because I need all sorts of extras, they needed to send my chosen specs off, but even that only took a couple days. My partner went today and the specs were ready in an hour. FANTASTIC

Visited Pop Specs Newcastle yesterday. Sheena and Dameer were super helpful. What great service. Got a pair of reading glasses and sunglasses. I am over the moon with them. Will definitely be returning.

Husband’s glasses took just over 30 minutes at Merry Hill. It wasn’t a standard prescription and it was a third of the price quoted by an opticians in the centre. Also done immediately instead of having to wait a week or so and then having to come back. I can’t fault the service. Nicky was great, thank you. We will use again and highly recommend.

Visited the Derby Pop Specs. The choice of unusual glasses was amazing. Very helpful staff with no pressure to purchase. It was hard to choose! These were ready in 20 minutes and are perfect. I think they were good value for the sales service and to be able to have new prescription filled so promptly. I would recommend having a look

Spent £315 on varifocal transition lenses for holidays that did not transition. Delay in rectifying so did not have in time. Offered & accepted refund but only refunded £65 as price of transition. Total waste of money as measurements of varifocal all wrong so cannot wear.

I was pleased to find glasses much cheaper than most opticians and happy with them at first. However after the arm just broke off suddenly with no drop ot knock to them I took them back to the Whiterose store in Leeds to get them fixed. Unfortunately they only guarantee them for 6 months and stated quite bluntly that we only expect them to last that long hence why we won't fix them after 6 months. My 2nd pair I got also has quite a loose arm but still held together but the quality is very poor and customer service none existant

I was going to document the full story but it’s just too long, so long story short the so called optician measured my eyes for lenses, when they arrived they were blurred, after 5 days I still can’t see, I took them to my local optician to test them, they were fitted completely wrong, the pupil height, the range, amongst other issues were incorrect in my varifocals, also I saw the plastic coating on top of my left lense had peeled way, very cheap frames obviously. I was told my prescription must be wrong and they are made to that prescription.
So I messaged again to get a full refund as they we not fit for purpose. All they kept saying was repair, replace , I just wanted a refund as they were made so wrong in the first place.
I even had to bring up the law and my consumer rights to reject the glasses and get a full refund.
I took them back yesterday awaiting a long arguement about refund, no a word was said and the wiman whom I saw originally never made eye contact or spoke to me and had another lady deal with it. I got a refund thank fully.

I think this place would be good for single lenses but frames do feel crap, I’m sure the ones I tried on are not the frame i received, but they got mine so wrong and they aren’t that complex.
Also I was mislead by being told that they were Zeis lenses,, trust me they are not.

So just go in with your eyes wide open and don’t believe the sales jargon

Going to email HQ as suggested in their reply... I'm sadly having to change my prior five star review. I have ordered and collected my first pair. Very happy with communication and speed. However, second order resulted in a long delay with no firm delivery date. Transpired that they'd lost their supplier. I received a refund. Then on visiting the kiosk I was told they'd solved the supply problem. So I reinstated the order, paying again. Aside from one WhatsApp reply saying they'd keep my updated... I'm now facing having paid for them on the 14th April 2026 and as of today 8th May 2026 my messaging and calls aren't being replied to or answered... No delivery update. No refund as I've asked. Assuming they've gone bust? Will have to drive there and find out. Huge shame that the people running the business seem to place huge onus on their kiosk staff to trade but not to give reliable information. Not impressed. I'm a full time carer so having to cover that person to ensure I can drive kinda irks...

Although she was extremely busy she prepared my frames and had them ready in 30mins,
This young woman is so professional and proficient.
I would recommend this store NOT JUST FOR THE GREAT CHOICE FOR FRAMES . BUT BECAUSE THERE IS A WONDERFUL HELPFUL AND CUSTOMER FOCUSED PERSON RUNNING THE PLACE…

I’ve been coming to Pop Specs in Westfield, Shepard’s Bush for about 1.5 years now and honestly wish I found them sooner.

Amazing selection (my glasses collection is growing fast 😄), but what really stands out is the service~friendly, relaxed, never pushy. You can actually enjoy choosing your frames.

I also love the little details~each pair comes with a proper protective case in beautiful pastel colours, and they actually let you choose your favourite (or pick one for you). It’s such a thoughtful touch and feels genuinely generous.

Always a good laugh, great advice, and genuinely professional.

Careful… it’s a bit addictive 😉 Highly recommend.

Eldon Square store in Newcastle – I had a great experience. Helen was incredibly helpful, taking the time to walk me through different frames and sizes. She even suggested a shape I wouldn’t have considered myself, and I ended up loving it. She was warm, friendly, and easy to chat with throughout.

Mara, who was also there, was just as welcoming, and together they made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable, just like choosing the glasses themselves. I’d highly recommend this store and will definitely be back for another pair soon.

I bought two pairs of glasses in November 2024 at HighCross in Leicester. I chose both pairs of varifocal, but later on I realised that varifocal glasses didn't work properly when I used the computer. So I went to Birmingham to change one of the glasses for reading distances.

I would like to talk about the positives I had with Pop-Specs:

I loved the designs; it was one of the strongest reasons I changed the provider.
The lenses have been among the best since I started to wear glasses. I have worn glasses for more than 30 years!
When I bought the glasses, Chris was very kind and helpful. The customer service is outstanding, and when I went to Birmingham to change the lenses for reading distance.

Unfortunately, I have found some negatives with the glasses. As I told you before, I have worn glasses almost all my life and this time is the first time the quality of these frames is very poor.

As soon as I got the reading glasses, the lens fell out, and a few months after, the frame was broken. I decided to fix it with sellotape as I only wear these glasses when I read or sew. I had a similar issue with the varifocal glasses. The frame broke in the middle. I fixed them with super glue, but it doesn't work anymore because a small piece came off. I have attached some pictures of the glasses, and you can see the issues they have.

I love the idea of the glasses designs and the lenses as well, but you need to check the quality of the frames.

I need glasses that I can wear every single day, and if I need new lenses, the frame is strong enough to put new lenses in. I spent £300 on these glasses, and I don't want to spend this amount of money every year because the frames are broken. I would like to reuse them if I need them.

Abbi was great first and foremost. Glasses made in 20 minutes, great choice of frames and anti glare as standard. What more do you need. 10/10

Wow what a fab shop . Beautiful selection of funky glasses and the staff were beyond amazing so helpful and kind and generally just great people (special shout out to Casper in the Leeds trinity shop for been wonderful) got glasses done and ready on 30 mins fitted to perfection and just an all round great experience... Make glasses shopping fun again and go here!

Returned to the Livingston setup and bought a 2nd pair (a month from my last pair) Firstly great service and an asset to your company was Meg / Megan, was lucky to get Meg first time and luckier to get again today, really helpful and a great help in choosing frames. Made and collected in less than a half hour...delighted is an understatement. Thinking about sunglasses now!

This is quite a tough review for me to write, but it must be said this is merely regarding the product and certainly not the staff, who were impeccable. I have a condition which affects my eyes and therefore, I am required to wear sunglasses whenever I am out. This includes the depths of winter when it is snowing! I found Pop Specs in the White Rose Centre in Leeds, and was absolutely floored by the number of fantastic frames there were! The products themselves are truly amazing and I couldn't wait for an eye test so I could buy some glasses, especially as I was under the impression I could sit and wait for my glasses to be ready. However, the two pair of glasses I ordered took over a week, a length of time I would have waited had I chosen frames at my optician. I have also found the products to be rather flimsy and certainly not fit for my purpose. I was swayed into buying glasses with transitional lenses. Unfortunately, I can't wear these as they don't go dark enough when outside. The second set of glasses I ordered were for indoor and night time use. I love these frames. Absolutely adore them. But they broke after only a weeks worth of wear. I have had to revert to my previous glasses from a well known optician and will be returning to order new glasses in the very near future. In my opinion, I love the Pop Specs idea and the look of the products is great, but they are flimsy and I wouldn't recommend the brand if you require things such as tinted lenses, bifocals or varifocals. A straight lens prescription for either distance or reading would be okay, but if you have any medical requirements for lenses, I would suggest staying with your established optician.

Brilliant experience at Pop Specs in Silverburn, Glasgow, Daniel was most helpful and I would recommend this outlet to anyone.

I’m very busy and sometimes you just need a quick solution without waiting or paying an amount that keeps other opticians in cosy high street locations
